The SpaceAloha and welcome to the beautiful island of Oahu. This is a private unit located in the heart of Waikiki in a boutique Hotel - Aqua Aloha Surf Hotel. The hotel is a Boutique-style, modern hotel. There are 3 different sizes of room in this Hotel and ours has the biggest in size. Most does not come with a balcony but ours does!! So even if you see a cheaper condo in this hotel by a private owner, it is because their studio is a bit smaller. We own one of the unit and renting it out privately, so this unit does not manage by the Hotel, that's why we can offer the lowest price! It has a Queen-sized bed, TV, A/C, kitchenette, sofa, clean towels, and linens. We can also provide a hiking tour for a small fee and you can always email us for more info about which hike you are interested in, whether a waterfall hike, crater, ridges, forest, coastlines etc. Because we love to hike! The hotel unit is located in the heart of Waikiki facing the Ala Wai canal. It is only 2 blocks to the beach and walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and grocery store is only 1 minute walk away. Close to bus stops that can take you to all the destinations you want to go, whether you want to hike Diamond Head, snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and visit the historic Pearl Harbor. The hotel comes with a swimming pool and a small gym. But why go to the pool while you can walk to the world famous Waikiki Beach in 5 minutes? It also has a breakfast buffet, Spa, coffee shop and a tourist desk. Wi-Fi is available in the lobby in a comfortable sitting area for you to sit down and relax. The world’s most famous beach is just two short blocks away (5 minutes walk). Getting AroundStreet parking available around the property (free or coin-operated). Parking is also available on-site (basement garage and additional lot next to the property). On-site parking is $22/day - you have to arrange to get a parking permit with the hotel staff. If you only want to spend time in Waikiki, you can survive without a car. Everything is in walking distance. If you wish to explore further, you may want to consider getting a rental car.

The SpaceMy unit was renovated and is fully furnished. Located on the fifteenth (15th) floor, as well as a panoramic view from the large (116sqft) tiled lanai (balcony) with views of both the historic Ala Wai Canal, swimming pool and the lush green mountains surrounding Waikiki. A large table and chairs are on the lanai for you to enjoy lovely Hawaiian sunsets. The studio have a queen size bed and a sofa bed that sleeps two as well as a double closet with an abundance of space. The kitchen is complete with a large refrigerator on the lanai and a small one in the kitchen, a two-burner stove, microwave, coffee maker, rice cooker, kettle, toaster, glasses, dishes, utensils......... All is provided for your convenience. The condo has a full bathroom, which is tiled, includes a shower and soak tub. Fresh bed linens, bath and beach towels, and hair dryer are provided. One block from Bus stops that can take you to any destination, whether you want to hike Diamond Head, Snorkel at Hanauma Bay, explore North Shore, visit the historic Pearl Harbor or go clubbing on Hotel Street in Chinatown or do more shopping at Waikele Outlets or Beautiful Ala Moana Mall. It’s only two (2) blocks from the beach. You can rent a car, a bicycle or mopeds one (1) mn. For the people who like to run in the morning or at sundown, we are across a beautiful jogging path along the canal (Ala Wai Blvd.). Parking: You can park for free on Ala Wai Blvd. you just need to move your car on Mondays and Fridays from 8:30am to 11:30am for street sweeping. You can park in my buildings parking garage for $35/day or I can have a parking place in Waikiki trade center ( half block from our condo , 3 min by walk) for $15 day. Getting AroundThe condo is located at 445 seaside avenue in the heart of Waikiki facing the Ala Wai canal. It is only 2 blocks to the beach and walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and grocery store is only 1 minute walk away. Close to bus stops that can take you to all the destinations you want to go, whether you want to hike Diamond Head, snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and visit the historic Pearl Harbor. It's only 2 blocks from the beach. You can rent a car ,a bicycle or a moped in the condo. The people who like to running on morning or in evening we are across the canal ( ala way blvd). For parking you can found a place on ala way canal it's free you just have to move your car monday and friday from 8.30am to 11.30 am . You can have place in condo for $30day it's very expensive or I have one place in the condo across the street for $12 day , $65 week the best option but I have only one. Other Things to NoteI have five more studios on the 14th, 18th X 2 , 22th and 29th floor all are located in the same condo ( the most famous Island colony) you can see pictures and reviews on my Airbnb full profile. The price than Airbnb communicated to you before you reserve included everything ( tax, cleaning fee , electric.....) no bad surprise on check in or check out. About Island Colony The Island Colony condo stands on Ala Wai Blvd & Seaside Ave, in the middle of the main stretch of Waikiki. Walk 2 blocks and you're looking at the middle of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, with the hotel that shares that name right behind it. The beach is just beyond that, though you have to find the public access to it, which is about a block east. In other words, you're where's it's at. Mahalo

The SpaceThis is a NON smoking unit. No smoking on the lanai or inside the condo. Well maintained high floor unit with great Diamond Head and mountain views. Ocean view from the lanai. Sit out on the lanai with your breakfast and feel the sweet morning air. Large bedroom with king bed. Kitchen has lots of pots and pans for your gourmet cooking. Living room has queen sofa sleeper. Washer and dryer in the unit. AC in the bedroom and the living room. One secured covered parking stall. FREE.... Large pool, pool deck, and BBQ. Only two blocks to the best beach in Waikiki. Surf and sun. Close to the bus lines and shopping. Only four units per floor, so you will have lots of privacy. Free wifi and HD TV. The Space***********"HAPPIEST SPACE ON EARTH"************* Usually rents for $147 UPDATE: New wall / window frame set / vertical blinds now totally soundproof / sunproof the roof for those that want to sleep in. You are quickly transported on to the ninth floor. There you turn right and see unit #917, slowly open the door and feel a bright happiness come over you. One floor away is a spacious sun deck with unobstructed million dollar views of world famous Diamond Head, the horizon, the best part of Waikiki beach, the many greens & blues of the ocean. Sailboats, sun worshipers, and a wonderful blue sky surround you and welcome you to your new home. The Space is a stone's throw away (less than 1/3 of a block) from the beach. As you enter the lobby decorated with colorful hawaiian flowers and spiritual buddha statues, you feel excited as you enter the newly installed elevators (2) which is trimmed in beautiful hawaiian wood. You are quickly transported on to the eighth floor. There you turn right and see unit #814, slowly open the door and see an unobstructed million dollar view of world famous Diamond Head. Walking out onto the lanai, you see the horizon, the best part of Waikiki beach, the many greens & blues of the ocean. Sailboats, sun worshipers, and a wonderful blue sky surround you and welcome you to your new home. This Waikiki Treasure is a stone's throw away (less than 1/3 of a block) from the beach. NOTE: Kuhio Avenue & Ala Wai Blvd are quite a walk from the beach. Other units claim a view outside their door.. you have to open the door to see your view it is inconvenient and just a sliver slice of a view. This Great studio is only a block to the beach! This is not a 5 star hotel room but it is a clean, cozy friendly studio at a great price. This is the cheapest unit in the condo! It has some kitchen utensils, a microwave and mini fridge. There is a Queen size bed in there with a small table and a chair. The place has AC and a small lanai (balcony) with partial ocean view. There is parking but it is $25/day pay to the meter. I m also able to show you around or take you on a hike if my schedule is free. I can take you to a waterfall, crater, ridge, forest, coastline hike etc. You just have to pay a small fee of $25/person. If you like to boogie board, I can also show you a great time to surf. It is also 2 blocks away from the famous Queens beach with popular surfing and boogie board spots. If you are into beach volleyball, it is also popular among the locals here. Always check with lifeguards, but this area has many safe places to swim. Diamond Head hike is only 2 minutes drive away with a great view of the whole city from the top. There are also a few hiking trails to the Koolau mountains towards the mountains. Towards the east, you have the popular lighthouse and crater hike too! You are welcome to join me on a hiking adventure anytime! Just outside of Waikiki. It is also walking distance to Kapahulu street with lots of Ono (delicious) local and foreign food, and grocery stores, which are less expensive than grocery stores in Waikiki. Several other factors should be considered before you choose a condo for you vacation, so that your experience will be satisfying. We are Waikiki experts, and offer these tips: Be certain that you choose a LEGAL property for your stay!! In Hawaii, the law requires that each vacation rental post the operator's Tax ID in all advertising materials as well as in the property. A RENTAL WITHOUT A POSTED TAX ID IS ILLEGAL!! The State of Hawaii can close any illegal rental at any time. You could lose both your money and your valuable vacation days by choosing an illegal property!! 2. About the noise. Waikiki is a very noisy city area. Most rooms are exposed to sounds of the city, some more than others. Check the map for the condo location and proximity to streets and points of interest such as outdoor bars, restaurants and music areas. Some buildings and hotels in Waikiki are right on the beach, but also adjacent to bars and entertainment areas that are active from morning until very late at night, with very little quiet time. 3. About air conditioning: What kind AC does the room have? Central AC is much more quite than a window AC . Small studio condos often have a window AC located near the bed . If you don't have any problem about noises then don't worry! 4. Enjoy your vacation in Hawaii! Where you stay can influence how you feel about your visit, so choose carefully. This is our 2nd Home.(URL HIDDEN) Answers to F A Q (frequently asked questions) • There are four Beach Towels in the unit. Boogie boards , and blowup floating mattresses as well. Condo (full kitchen, no dishwasher) with lanai is 600 square ft. The unit is as pictured on the rental site. • There is a Pay Laundry Room about 30 feet down the hall. Bring lots of quarters as it costs $2.00 for washer and $2.00 for dryer. • There are 2 keys in the key box on the door. You will be provided the combination when you book. Replace them in the same place upon vacating the unit. leave key in the lock box in case you lock yourself out .( it costs around $50.00 to have security come up and unlock your door. also it takes time out of your day.) The parking is onsite, in the building garage, (The Parking pass will be on the kitchen table when you arrive)... If you are in a car, drive into the garage and tell the attendant you want to park in the 15 minute parking while you go up to get the parking pass, then you can park in any vacant spot up on the next four floors. • There are garbage bags and cleaning supplies in the unit for your convenience as well as a vacuum, however we have a cleaning person come in after check out. • Towels, dishes, soap and toilet paper are provided initially. From our studio apartment on the 7th floor, you can see the pink flamingos of Honolulu Zoo, and hear the howling monkeys and early morning roar of the lions. The studio is comfortably furnished with a dining table, 4 chairs, a queen size bed, a dresser and a sofa that opens into a twin bed. The unit also includes a 36” flat screen tv, coffee maker, microwave oven, full size refrigerator, and a two burner electric stove. There is also free wifi internet. On the ground floor you will find Teddy’s Burgers, which features breakfast items as well as some of Honolullu’s best hamburgers and milk shakes. We also have a Starbucks a few doors away on Kalakaua Avenue where you can also stroll into the heart of Waikiki with its myriad cafes, restaurants and shops. One of our personal favorites, a block away, is Wolfgang Puck Express where you can grab a wonderful, wood-fired, pizza, a variety of salads, and excellent roast chicken at reasonable prices. The bus service is excellent and we are at a hub where you can take buses to Ala Moana, downtown Honolulu, and even around the island. Getting AroundIf you do not want to pay for parking at the Waikiki Grand Hotel you can park on the city streets. We have always found parking within a 3 block radius around the park and on Kapahulu Drive. City bus service is excellent and the bus stops going in every direction are all within one block of the hotel.     The SpaceThis is a hotel, transformed into a condo/hotel. We have taken it out of the hotel pool, so you can pay a lot less (published rate is $275/nite) and save money for other things like shopping or tourist experiences. The price includes the 14.72% Transient Tax. This is a 'Suite', the largest floor plan available in the building, with sitting area, wet bar, micro-wave and fridge. There is a hair dryer and mask and snorkel equipment for your use. You are right in the middle of all the action of Waikiki, along with the only supermarket, right next door. The hotel has nice amenities, like pool, workout area, free morning coffee & afternoon punch in Lobby, bar-b-que area and free wifi. There is a cafe in the lobby, as well as a buffet diner and sundry shop. No need for a rental car the whole time your here, however, you may want to consider for a couple days, just to get out and see all that Oahu has to offer. Parking is available in the building at $25/day, or you can find free parking on the Blvd, just outside, but watch out for Monday and Friday street sweeping, when they will tow. Guest AccessPrior to arrival, Don and Terri will provide check in instructions for the unit. There is a lockbox on the front door, with additional keys inside the unit. Checkout will be through leaving the keys in the unit and leaving. It's as easy as that. The NeighborhoodYou are located just 5 minutes (2 blocks) to beautiful Waikiki Beach. Countless number of restaurants, bars and shopping stores. The Food Pantry, Waikiki's only grocery store is located right next door. Exercise while walking up and down the Ala Wai Canal, which is 2.5 miles long. There a ton of things to do in Waikiki and you will be in the middle of it all. That being said, do not expect that this area is a 'Quiet retreat'. Waikiki is full of hi-rise buildings, hotels, stores, restaurants and bars. Getting AroundWaikiki is 2 miles long, by 1/2 mile wide. Walking around is the best way to see it all. Taxis are prevalent everywhere, as well as places to rent bikes or mopeds. Uber and Lyft are available and are half of what a taxi costs. The Bus goes down Kuhio Ave. (just 300' from the room), and takes you to Ala Moana Shopping Center (3mi), where you can catch another bus to anywhere on the island. This 600 sq-foot, spacious, one-bedroom unit has been upgraded with tasteful decorations, where you’ll find everything new - the kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, vanity, vessel sink, shower & bath, wood floorings, sofa sleeper, queen beds, night stand, media chest, etc. Being the corner unit, it has the extra window in the bedroom providing more views and morning sunlight. There are also two separate entrances to the bathroom from the bedroom and the living room, which many other units don’t have. You will enjoy the benefit of fully stocked kitchen with full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, disposer, pots, pans and utensils. If you have been to waikiki before you will really appreciate that this property comes with free parking, as it can run at some resorts. The building features many amenities, including a pool and more. The beach is 1 short block away. The condo is on busy Kuhio Ave where the bus and shuttles stop in front of the building, so a car is not necessary. You can walk to the nearby shopping centers (Royal Hawaiian and International Market Place, 2 blocks away) and Kapiolani Park is within 1/2 mile. Kapiolani Park features Waikiki Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Diamond Head Crater, and the very large park itself, and the nearby beach. In the opposite direction you have world famous Ala Moana Center, Honolulu Convention Center and the huge Hilton Hawaiian Village. There is not a better centrally located condo in Waikiki with this size (nearly 1300 sf) and prices far below what equivalent hotel rooms command. Quality 2 bedroom, 2 bath condos are hard to find, this is a great family getaway suite. To assure maximum enjoyment for all of our guests, we rent only to couples, families, and responsible adults. The NeighborhoodYou right across street from small pier, ocean, and zoo. Kapiolani Park and aquarium are a few minutes walk (under 5) minutes. Getting AroundParking info. Bldg parking $17 a day, call Waikiki Grand Hotel reserve a spot. You can park for free around Kapiolani park which is about a 5 minute walk- Paki street side of park and Monsarrat St. Kapiolani Park has free metered parking from 6pm-10am and Sundays. Across the street parking at the zoo cost $1 an hour, this can be cheap since you only pay for what you need. If you choose not to rent a car, there are multiple bus routes just steps away. I recommend only renting car on days you plan to go North Shore. Everything else is walking distance or easily accessible by bus which is one of the best systems in US. Other Things to NoteSometimes there's movies on the beach across the street. Every Friday night fireworks go off in Waikiki.
