The SpaceThe spacious, 700 square foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage has a large open kitchen-dining-living room space that is full of light from windows on both sides. There's a cozy reading nook to curl up in stocked with a variety of books including fiction, non-fiction, guidebooks and other books about Hawaii. The living room also has an assortment of dvds, games and Direct TV for your enjoyment.
The well-equipped kitchen has everything for making and serving your meals, including a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, large convection toaster oven, rice cooker, blender, outdoor gas grill with extra burner and more. Basic pantry items are included. Please use what you need and if you like, leave something for the next guests to enjoy.
Full sized washer and dryer are provided for your convenience. They are located in the living room area in a closet behind louvered doors. Laundry soap is provided.
The spacious bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed with quality linens, sitting chairs and a walk-in closet stocked with comfy robes, iron & board, day pack, extra bath towels, beach towels, and more.

Interaction with GuestsOur 3-acre property has a large L-shaped house that we recently remodeled to include a 700 square foot guest cottage at one end of the house. My husband and I live in a separate wing at the other end of our L-shaped home. The two living spaces are separated by a large lanai.
We respect our guests' privacy and appreciate our own. If you like, we're happy to answer any questions and steer you to our favorite restaurants, beaches, walking trails and island adventures. If you prefer less interaction, that is fine with us too. We hope you to enjoy your time here. The NeighborhoodSituated on the 'dry side' of Waimea, half way between Kawaihae and Waimea town. We are 10 minutes away from both towns. Some of the best beaches on the island are 10-15 minutes away.
We live on a quiet road with very little traffic, a safe walking area with friendly neighbors and gorgeous views out to the three mountains. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation to our neighborhood, itʻs best to rent a car. Other Things to NoteWe grow a variety of fruits and are happy to share papaya, banana, lilikoʻi and other fruits with you when they are in season.
Our golden retriever, Lucca, is a retired therapy dog. He is very easy going and mostly keeps to himself.
