The SpaceThe condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, electric oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and all the cookware and plateware to prepare your own meals for extended stays; dining room can sit four comfortably. The living room is equipped with a brand new queen sleeper sofa and has beautiful views towards the patio/outdoors. The TV is equipped with a DVD player so please bring your own movies if you wish. Also, the TV is Roku ready so you can stream movies and your favorite shows from your Netflix account. The TV does not have a cable subscription. The bedroom has a full size bed and a few dresser drawers for storage. One set of fresh clean linens are supplied for both beds; there are extra blankets in the bedroom closets. The bathroom has a tub/shower, plenty of clean towels and a hair dryer. The unit is supplied with plenty of toiletries as well; all we ask is that our guests bring their own bath soap/clothe, shampoo and toothpaste. The patio outside has a nice sitting area to add another dimension to the space. The unit is WiFi ready and you'll see the password listed on our bulletin board. On the premises, the development has within walking distance the Clubhouse where you will find the outdoor pool & grill for the summer months. In addition, there is coin operated laundry, so please bring quarters if you are planning an extended stay. Parking is available right outside the unit & even though it is a bottom floor unit, there are a few steps required to enter the unit. Also, there has been a newly installed tennis and basketball court. Please feel free to use however no skating, biking or street hockey is allowed on this surface. The NeighborhoodThe development is tucked away in the Green Mountains and has walking access to the Catamount Trail- greatly used for both cross country skiing and hiking from the spring through the fall. The development is very peaceful and away from the noisy access resort roads. Its also close proximity to our favorite tavern, the Hideaway. Downtown Waitsfield is home to many activities, a theater, farmers market and many fantastic restaurants. With close access to sugarbush resort, you can enjoy the outdoor activities such as golfing, zip-lining or taking a hike on the long trail. Accessing the famous VT trail by hiking from the bottom or taking the lift to the summit. The valley here is home to several farms worth visiting and a short ride away to Stowe VT or Middlebury. Getting AroundThere is a shuttle that connects Mad River resort to Sugarbush; buses run frequently on German Flats Rd, a short walk out of the development. See schedule inside condo or online. Minutes from Route 100, but so secluded you will find yourself immediately at peace once you hear the Mad River's soothing waters. The well equipped kitchen has granite counter tops, all appliances and cooking tools , eating area with large oval table, formal Dining Room, 720 sq foot living room and separate television/sitting room. Laundry room and expansive hallways. High speed wireless, Satellite television, Washer/Dryer. Location: If you have never seen New England, you are missing one of Mother Natures miracles. This house is the perfect setting to see Northern New England with all the comforts of home. It is large, but cozy with great places to sit and view the river or read a great book. There are unlimited day trips from this central Vermont location- scoot up to Montreal for a feel of Europe, drive for the afternoon to Woodstock or Middlebury and understand why Vermont is so special. Perched on a ledge overlooking The Mad River, The Farm is located on over 50 private acres intersected by The Mad River. The main portion of the home is offered for the 2015-16 season at a discounted price of $400/night (regular) and $600/night (holiday). Since then my family has used it over the years in both summer and winter until I pulled the trigger to move here full time in October 2012. Since then I have have done extensive interior and exterior renovations with no plans of stopping anytime soon!!         The Space4 bedroom, 2 bath guest house conveniently located on 15 private acres just15 minutes from the Sugarbush and Mad River Glenn ski areas and 30 minutes from Stowe. Minutes from top wedding venues (Round Barn, Mad River Barn, 1824 Inn) We also offer an optional 2bedroom/1bath apartment (1000 sq ft) or a combined rental (6bedroom 3bath) of the Guest House + the apartment. The guest house has two levels. Each level has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. As a result two families each with 4-5 members can live privately and comfortably. You can enter the guest house either through a private rear entry (adjacent to parking) or via the front patio area. With front entry is via a large living room area which is adjacent to a large bedroom with queen bed. With rear entry you pass through a wide hallway (serves as a mud room area). On your left is a door which leads to the just mentioned bedroom with living room area. To your right is the second bedroom. This bedroom is ideal for children as there is a twin bed and a sofa bed. From this bedroom there is also a separate slider leading to the bluestone patio. A 2 person hot tub is also located on this patio. A private outdoor dining area is also located in this back patio area. Continue down the hallway and you pass a full bathroom before arriving at the stairway for the second floor. Up a wide set of stairs you will come to a large room with a full kitchen, dining area (table seats 8), entertainment area and bathroom. (There is HD flat screen TV both up and downstairs with dish network tv provided) A portable stereo (with a large assorted of music cds) and a large assortment of board games are provided. Behind dining area is a closet where you will find additional supplies and a washer/dryer) We do provide an ironing board and iron for those guests who will be attending weddings. Two sets of french doors are on either end of the upper level. Behind one you will find a long narrow bedroom (approx 8x25) with two new full size beds located on opposite ends of the bedroom.(Ideal room for teens and older children) Behind the second set of french doors is a large master bedroom suite with queen bed, leather couch and charis) A wonderful area to just sit down relax, enjoy conversation or read a book (Many books are provided for your reading pleasure) A sliding door leads to a small deck with lovely easterly mountain views). The guest house has everything you will need for a no fuss vacation. Linens, towels, paper goods, dishes, etc etc. If you should need anything the owners (a retired couple) are available and can provide assistance. The property is meticulously maintained (see photos). The soothing sound of a running brook that runs year round is sure to ease your mind and leave you with a peaceful and tranquil feeling. Perfect location for attending Mad River Valley wedding events, college graduations, skiing vacations and summer outdoor enthusiasts. A true 4 season vacation area. For those who are visiting Vt college students, we are 45 minutes from UVM, Champlain College, Saint Michaels and only 30-35 minutes from Norwich University, Please note for groups larger than 8-10 occupants. We do offer as a separate rental a 2bedroom apartment which is located on the walk out level of the larger structure (our primary residence) This space is suitable for 4-5 people. As a result groups as large as 15 total have been quite comfortable on our property. We are located just 3 miles north of the town of Waitsfield (1/2 mile off Route 100) where you can find restaurants, supermarkets and businesses that cater to your needs Located in north central Vt., Waitsfield is in the center of the Mad River Valley. The NeighborhoodIt is a quiet neighborhood and we are centrally located We are located approx 1/2 mile off of Route 100 which is a primary travel rd. It is a 5 minute ride to a shopping center with 2 supermarkets and various other merchants. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen skiing is 15 minutes from home. Stowe is 35 minutes. Burlington 40 minutes.Northfield (home of Norwich University) is 35 minutes. Getting AroundYou need a car if you will rent our property. While access is relatively easy, a vehicle with front wheel drive (4 wheel drive not needed) would be helpful in the winter months. I have (at times) picked up guests from Burlington Airport, bus terminal, or Amtrak terminal upon your arrival. Check with Harvey before hand to see if he is available. However, you will need a rental vehicle to get around Vt while you are here. Other Things to NoteCell phone service is at times spotty from the guest house.( though recent guests have had no problem) You will be able to use our phones (at no additional cost) for both local and long distance (please keep long distance to a minimum)

Located on 15 beautifully landscaped acres. Entry via private bluestone patio (measuring 10x 30ft). Apartment has large entry area where skis, coats and equipment can be stored. Retired couple (owners) live on upper two levels and are available to provide any additional services you might need. On either side of entry area (measures approx 6 x 12ft) are the bedrooms. One bedroom is very large (10 x 25ft) This room has a full size bed and a twin bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed.. The entry area opens up to a living room (with sectional sofa seating) and a dining area. (Dining table suitable for 6) To the side of the dining area is a full kitchen with new stove and dishwasher. Additional counter seating for two is provided. Finishing off the apartment is a laundry room and a bathroom. The bathroom has a large sized shower with seat. (Well suited for elderly guests) Total space of the apartment is approximately 1100 sq ft. Notations on pricing. Ski season 200 night (up to 5 people) $35 additional for each person in excess of 5 people. Really best suited for either 2 couples or a family with up to 3 children Holiday periods (call to discuss) 240 per night Generally rent for 3 night minimum. All 14 acres of our outdoor space are available for guest use, including our private swimming hole and the town's best sledding hill. There is an outdoor fire pit for guest use (wood provided). This is central Vermont and 1/2 hour drive to Montpelier, 55 minutes to Burlington. Locally, it is just 1.25 miles from the base of Sugarbush North (Mt Ellen), 2.5 miles from Sugarbush South and about 6 miles from Mad River Glen.. The condo has 1 master bedroom with deck, loft bedroom, and one full bath. It sleeps 4. The first floor has a mud room with large closet and ample space for skis, boots and clothes. The kitchen opens to a dining area and living area with cathedral ceiling, fireplace, and views of the mountains through beautiful birch trees. There is a full bath on the first floor. Up some winding stairs is the loft bedroom that sleeps 2. The loft is very cozy and has a queen size high quality and comfortable futon on a wood frame. The second floor has a master bedroom with queen sized bed and deck that has views of the beautiful grounds and surrounding 10 acres. There are only 34 units here. The unique location of the Vermont ski vacation rental offers a serene and quiet atmosphere yet near all the action! It is also right on the Catamount trail, a beautiful and varied trail that runs the length of Vermont. The 10 acres owned by the association is adjacent to 650 private wooded acres allowing plenty of walking, mountain biking and back country skiing and snow shoeing. Amenities: WiFi, and community house offers ping pong, reading areas, washer, dryer and sauna. Fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace. Free WiFi, plowing, trash, recycle. There is also a picnic table and hammock between some apple trees in the backyard; all available for guests. The NeighborhoodWe are just down the road from one of the only working farms in the mad River Valley. It was a dairy farm for years - run by von Trapp's; now one of their sons has established a cheese-making operation there. Across the road is Von Trapp Greenhouses; operating in spring, summer, fall. They have a lovely display garden on the property. The mountains are visible. Getting AroundThe driveway can accomodate 2 cars; maximum 3. You can bike to town; or walk, it takes 1/2 hour to walk. Has a sunny front porch for spring temps, and an incredible view of Mount Ellen on sunny days from the living room. Free high speed WiFi, phone for emergencies, outside covered smoking area off back door for those who smoke. You can drink inside! Please Note: Bathroom towels and bedding blankets are included for your convenience, bed sheets, pillow cases are no longer included, but with the late check out it allows you time to wash your own sheets and take home.
