Interaction with GuestsI travel often for work and am not always in town to greet guest. I work with a fabulous network of elves to have the house space clean, comfortable and cozy for guest. If I am in town, I would enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to greet guest and support their needs during their stay.
Please note-the cancellation reviews are related to a CA rental I had for work. The Raleigh home is my primary residence I own-no cancellations will occur there! ;) The NeighborhoodI love my home-it's cozy, comfortable, imperfect, warm and welcoming. It's a casual environment to relax, cook, entertain and appreciate the many joys in our worlds. I enjoy taking walks on the trails by the neighborhood pool, with the opportunity to see deer, rabbits, squirrels and birds by a small creek. And, I love Raleigh-so many things to do with a blend of 'city' life and country pleasures. Getting AroundGuests will require a car or be willing to pay for taxi services to get around. The house is located within walking distance (0.5 to 1 mile) to restaurants, grocery stores and shops, but the North Raleigh area is not considered a walker friendly area other than specified green trails. Other Things to NoteCleaning fees are not charged in the nightly rate (approximately $100 in this area). I do ask guest support courtesy cleaning, including taking out the trash, placing dirty linens and towels in the laundry room, loading and starting the dishwasher, cleaning the bathrooms, removing hair from the showers and floors, etc. If you would prefer not to mange these tasks after your relaxing stay, I am happy to add the cleaning fee as a special rate pricing to the initial quote. Please let me know your preference when you reply to the listing with potential calendar dates. I prefer to clean to save on costs when I travel - I am offering this courtesy to guests who choose my home, but am happy to support a cleaning fee as well.
