The SpaceIt's my goal to provide my guests with comfortable spaces to relax and enjoy their stay. Make yourself at home in either the living room downstairs or the upstairs reading/TV room (adjacent to your bedroom). Help yourself to a book if something on the shelf grabs your interest. The screened porch is a great place for your morning coffee. In cooler weather, it gets the afternoon sun and is pleasant that time of day as well. Guest AccessYou may use the kitchen for light meals. There is plenty of room in the refrigerator and pantry for milk, cereal, whatever makes your stay comfortable. Coffee, tea, fruit and light breakfast items will be available. I have beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and beach cart you may use during your stay. If you wish to use the community pool, I can give you the mag key. Interaction with GuestsI work full time so you probably won't see much of me during the week. Evenings may or may not find me at home. On weekends, if time allows, I may offer to prepare a meal or two. The NeighborhoodYou'll feel like you're in the country but you're just 20 minutes from the beach or downtown. There are several ponds and a couple of neighborhood alligators. Summer evenings on the screened porch are a symphony of birds, frogs and cicadas. You'll likely see deer, possum, raccoon and the occasional armadillo! There is a night bird called Chuck's Will Widow with a distinctive call. Getting AroundYou will need to provide for your own transportation, there is no public transportation in my area of town. You may park in the driveway, please keep to the right side, I park on the left in the garage. Other Things to NoteThere are three feline residents in my home. Two of them will cozy up with you if the opportunity presents itself. They will also explore (or snooze in) your luggage and belongings if they have access to your room!

The SpaceCome experience the charming culture of Charleston from a local historical plantation Tour Guide and her family. Our home is bright, cheery and comfortable. You will love our quiet location in the Francis Marion Forest (near Daniel Island) with our home overlooking a pond that is teeming with lowcountry wildlife. Our peaceful location is just 10-15 minutes from Family Circle Cup Stadium, 10 minutes from Blackbaud Stadium, 15 minutes from Airport, 15 minutes from Tanger Outlets, 20 minutes from Isle of Palms beach (our favorite beach) and 25-35 minutes to historical Charleston. We are 2 hours from Myrtle Beach. We will provide you with plenty of information about the area, places the locals love to eat/visit, and directions/maps of the area. The spacious room is located on the ground floor with no steps and 1 private master bathroom with closet for storage. The Queen bed is very comfortable! Also, we offer a memory-foam mattress for a third person. There is plenty of room for the 3rd person. It is an additional 15.00 per day for a 3rd person. We will respect your space and give you your privacy, so do not worry about feeling pressured to socialize on your vacation unless you want to. There is no access to kitchen, laundry room or living room unless specifically requested and we agree to it. Free wi-fi, free access to 2 private pools with a private key card, super comfortable bed, personal thermostat for you to control the temperature (but please be considerate, as a/c is very expensive), free parking in front of house for 1 car please let us know if you are bringing 2 vehicles because the 2nd one will need to be parked down the street, free access to books/movies, free beach paraphernalia (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc), and all of the assistance you need to make your occasion/vacation a wonderful experience. If you are planning something special and would like assistance, please let us know and we will help you with reservations and suggestions to make it incredibly special. Our home overlooks a pond and you can sit outside on our spacious patio with your tea/coffee watching the herons and egrets fish in the peaceful waters. Hopefully you'll get to see an alligator (don't worry they won't bother you if you don't bother them). It is a truly relaxing location where you will feel the stress drain from your shoulders as you simply enjoy life. We will be living our regular life within the home with our children. It is an interesting experience to see a window into our family's life and we feel privileged to meet so many fascinating people. Please understand that our airbnb is not a typical Bed and Breakfast. This is our home and we have children. Nearby: Family Circle Cup, Blackbaud Stadium, kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, jeep/4-wheeler/bike trails, excellent restaurants, grocery, Tanger Outlets, Boone Hall Plantation, etc. We can give you directions to all of the major locations and give you suggestions on what is best to see and what is not worth the money, as well as the history of the location for a more personal touch if you are interested in knowing more about the history of this gorgeous city. We have local history books and pamphlets available for you to peruse. For tourists that are on a budget, we can suggest plenty of cost-effective activities as well as inexpensive restaurants. We do not have any pets! If you want a unique experience in Charleston that regular tourists do not get to have, we are excited to offer you our home and our hospitality. We are set overlooking a pond and are next to a forest where plenty of wildlife come to entertain us. Getting AroundYou must have a car. Do not even consider traveling to Charleston without a car unless you can afford to stay on the peninsula (downtown Charleston). Please be careful when choosing areas to stay in. Some areas are not safe. Other Things to NoteCharleston offers an overwhelming amount of activities. It is easy to not know what the best attractions are. We are the answer! As a local tour guide and historical enthusiast, Hannah has been to everything and can tell you what will suit your needs best.

Our townhome is in a quiet, off-the-beaten path location next to the Francis Marion national forest. It is important to note that it is in the suburbs and using our car is pretty necessary. When we rent out our entire home, we will not be in the home and will give you a door code to come and go as you please. Our cheery townhome can accommodate a large family or 2 small families and is normally used as a bed and breakfast with two living rooms, 2 master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and 2 smaller bedrooms with another 1 1/2 bathrooms. In essence, it's 4 bedrooms 3.5 bathrooms. There are 2 Queen beds, 1 full, 1 crib, 1 fold up bed with memory foam pad, and 2 couches. Comfortably, it can house 6-8 but if you wanted to put people on the couches, you can easily house a few more. The spacious downstairs bedroom is located on the ground floor with no steps and 1 private master bathroom with closet for storage. The Queen beds are very comfortable! The upstairs master bedroom has a big, comfy queen bed and en suite bathroom with a luxurious, garden tub. The third bedroom has a full loft bed with a full bathroom. The 4th bedroom is a nursery with a crib and a memory foam cot. There are 2 extra couches as well. The flooring is brand new in the entire house and everything is freshly painted. The rainforest-themed nursery comes with every baby item you could possibly need! Best of all, you have access to 2 pools that are open only to our small community. Both pools are walkable from the townhome, as well as the small children's park. You could not ask for a safer community! Our daughter skates up and down the street by herself. We know all of our neighbors and southern hospitality is abundant! Please beware that many places within Charleston can be "unsuitable" for families due to safety. This location is perfect for families! Our home overlooks a pond and you can sit outside on our spacious patio with your tea/coffee watching the herons and egrets fish in the peaceful waters. Please feel free to use the garden for your cooking! Our outdoor veranda is an extension of the house and we literally eat/grill outside nearly everyday of the year. It is warm here nearly all year, so we always have flowers growing. Brian is an enthusiast in the kitchen, so you will find nearly every item you could imagine in there (bread machine, blender, coffee grinder, electric tea kettle, etc). Within the home, we have luxurious bedding with pillow top mattresses, nice sheets and oodles of puffy pillows. We have three comfy couches and a table that can extend to seat 6 with 2 barstools and outside seating as well. The charcoal grill will make your meals nice and smoky! Fall asleep to the sound of frogs croaking and the sway of the palm trees outside your window. We adore where we live and we always love coming home. You will love it too! Approximately $20 USD Uber ride to downtown. Other Things to NoteA reminder that there are two well-behaved dogs on the premises. The SpaceI have a deep love for this 28sf, warm and inviting home because it is where I raised my family. It has been my hospitality partner through many years of parties, sleepovers, family gatherings, feeding the neighborhood kids, and hosting guests! This is a traditional style, comfortable home filled with antiques and warm decorative touches. There are 3 bedrooms and a huge bonus room. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and the bonus room has a full size bed, a futon, a couch, and there is plenty of space for an airbed. The large, eat-in kitchen includes a breakfast bar and all of the necessary appliances and conveniences. For more formal meals there is a separate dining room with a table that seats 8-10. There is a wonderful screened in back porch perfect for winding down with a glass of wine and watching the fireflies after a day at the beach, boating, sightseeing, or shopping. I am only a phone call away and always happy to answer any questions and offer suggestions. This home is in a beautiful, well maintained, residential neighborhood with walking and biking paths throughout. Within 2 miles of the home there is a small shopping center with grocery store, a liquor store, a neighborhood pub, dry cleaners, nail salon, etc. Within 3 miles of the home there is a Wal-Mart and several other restaurants and specialty shops. Interaction with GuestsI am just a phone call away and happy to answer any questions or offer suggestions to all of our guests. The NeighborhoodThis home is located in a beautiful, safe planned community with miles of walking, jogging, and biking trails. Getting AroundAll within 3 miles of the home: grocery store, gas station, liquor store, Wal-Mart, nail salon, barber shop, and several restaurants ranging from pizza to neighborhood pub to upscale dining. Other Things to NoteGuests are asked to either bring their own sheets and towels or request to rent them from a linen company. If you prefer to rent linens please contact the owner for suggestions of local companies. Disposables (toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc. are not provided. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is quiet at night and active and friendly during the day. There are children playing, dogs being walked, and runners enjoying their jogs. There is a duck pond, as well as a small park with live oaks and a tree swing close by. There is also a beautiful community pool within walking distance, open April through September. Getting AroundYou will need a car to get around, as the neighborhood is not close to the city. Other Things to NoteMost of my things are extremely sentimental. Please, be gentle.

Owner lives in the home and rents out guest room to those who want a Charleston visit without the high expense of downtown. Pleasant area with swimming pool, walking trails and ponds. Convenient to I-526 as well as highway 17. Guest AccessFull use of guest bedroom and private full bath; use of living area including television; use of the kitchen for limited meal preparation. Full use of screened in back porch, front porch. Interaction with GuestsI am a working professional and work downtown. I am happy to give you dinner suggestions, shopping ideas, and directions to the beach, etc. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is wonderful with walking trails, ponds, and a swimming pool. Everyone is friendly and watches out for each others home. There are nearby restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Getting AroundYou will need your own car or Uber/cab. Public transportation(bus) does not come to our neighborhood. Other Things to NoteI do have an (adorable) English Bulldog.

Vacation in style in this 2,500 sq ft Lowcountry style home in a Family Friendly environment. The large kitchen and sunroom lead out onto screened porch overlooking a private backyard where deer frequent and a large variety of bird wildlife nest. The front of the house boast two large southern wrap porches overlooking a 'Parker's Pond' and park for the kids to run in. This is where we spend almost all of our time with the fantastic views. Head inside to the spacious fully equipped kitchen with stainless dishwashers, oven, microwave, Stainless refrigerator, and all cooking utensils. If you love to grill, we have a stainless gas grill too! This is a residential 5 bedroom home located in the community of Rivertowne on the Wando. The home has 2 Master Bedrooms with Queen Beds, 2 Large Bedroom with Queen Beds, 1 Bedroom with a single Twin and (1) small IKEA kids fold out floor couch. The Home has 3 1/2 Baths. The 1st Master, Living Room, Kitchen, Dinning (Seats 6), Kitchen Bar (Seats 3), Screened in Deck on the main floor in the back and Front Deck with outdoor furntiture. The 2nd floor has another Master and Large Bedroom that both have seperate doors to the 2nd level Deck overlooking the Pond and Park. The Hammock provides for a great way to relax! The Living room has a 42' TV and new large sectional couch that fits 6-7 people. Three of the bedrooms have TVs. All bedrooms with TV's have Cable. You have full access to high speed Wireless Internet throughout the home. All the rooms have ceiling fans, Dual AC controls (one for each floor). After breakfast go down to your own neighborhood DeepWater dock to fish, crab or watch the boats float by. The fishing is excellent from the dock and in the nearby creeks or drop some crab pots in the water with some chicken necks and come back the next day for a load of large blue crabs. The owners kayak when available will be located in the garage with all the nessesary tools to transport it to the deep water dock. You can fish in any pond in the neighborhood. There are two large ponds as you come into Rivertowne, two next to the pool and one right next to the house. You don't need a license to fish in these ponds. Beware that there are Alligators in some of these ponds but you will see plenty of people fishing. Use live bait for the best luck with these fish. Fill your days with walks on the beach, in the French Quarter downtown, at a local plantation or civil war era fort – all within few miles of the house. The county park beach on Isle of Palms is just on the other side of the connector 15 minutes from your vacation home. It offers beautiful new facilities to meet all your needs on beach day. In addition to all of the historic landmarks nearby, the Mt. Pleasant Town Center is 10 minutes down the road. It’s filled with national brand stores, restauants as well as specialty boutiques for your shopping pleasure. This is a perfect house if you want to enjoy the beaches, golfing and the greater Charleston area but don't want to pay the price of being on the beach all week!

Despite its proximity to historic Charleston, warm beaches, islands, and unlimited coastal & cultural activities, you will not be able to see another house from your 6 acre estate. Spend time relaxing and enjoying the views and abundant wild life near the amenities of Charleston! This is an OWNER operated property. We do not rent to anyone we have not spoken with directly. The home includes 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and sleeps 12 adults and up to 3 more children (large window seat/bed that sleeps 2 small children and a crib). The large master bedroom has the feel of a tree house overlooking the water. Other amenities at the home: 50” HD plasma TV with DVD & VCR, DVD collection, hammock on screened porch, fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, large indoor and outdoor dining tables, garage, fireplace, enclosed out door shower, crab traps, extra freezer (for all the fish you catch). Nearby pier with deep water dock. Child swing hanging from an oak tree. The home is named for the 22 foot diameter oak tree in the front yard. From every window you will enjoy a long range view over the water and/or beautiful oaks. There is a historic civil war canon embankment and other era relics on the property. There is a nearby public landing if you want to bring a boat (Boat & Jet ski rentals are also available on nearby Isle of Palms.) Equestrian neighborhood. Volleyball net and other outdoor games are available. Boat rides are available to Bull Island (undeveloped barrier island in front of our home) so you can play on a private beach or see the sea turtles nesting (seasonal). Dolphins are plentiful in the waterway. National Bird of Prey center is nearby. Downtown Charleston approx 35min, Isle of Palms approx 22min, Mt Pleasant approx 18min. In order to meet the high standards of our guests, we do not allow smoking or pets. Sorry, we do not allow weddings or other parties on the estate. Hurricane protection: Unlike most rentals, we put in our contract that we will refund all of your money if you have to cancel due to a hurricane.

Yet, absolutely beautiful location......... Although this is a shared occupancy, the "Summer Breeze" is very private. Meant to feel like a studio, not just a room! This room is located on the East side of our home. While all of the other rooms are located on the West side! Additionally, you will have your own Private entrance, the only thing that really is shared is the bathroom.
