Our townhome is in a quiet, off-the-beaten path location next to the Francis Marion national forest. It is important to note that it is in the suburbs and using our car is pretty necessary. When we rent out our entire home, we will not be in the home and will give you a door code to come and go as you please. Our cheery townhome can accommodate a large family or 2 small families and is normally used as a bed and breakfast with two living rooms, 2 master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and 2 smaller bedrooms with another 1 1/2 bathrooms. In essence, it's 4 bedrooms 3.5 bathrooms. There are 2 Queen beds, 1 full, 1 crib, 1 fold up bed with memory foam pad, and 2 couches. Comfortably, it can house 6-8 but if you wanted to put people on the couches, you can easily house a few more.
The spacious downstairs bedroom is located on the ground floor with no steps and 1 private master bathroom with closet for storage. The Queen beds are very comfortable!
The upstairs master bedroom has a big, comfy queen bed and en suite bathroom with a luxurious, garden tub.
The third bedroom has a full loft bed with a full bathroom.
The 4th bedroom is a nursery with a crib and a memory foam cot.
There are 2 extra couches as well.
The flooring is brand new in the entire house and everything is freshly painted. The rainforest-themed nursery comes with every baby item you could possibly need! Best of all, you have access to 2 pools that are open only to our small community. Both pools are walkable from the townhome, as well as the small children's park. You could not ask for a safer community! Our daughter skates up and down the street by herself. We know all of our neighbors and southern hospitality is abundant! Please beware that many places within Charleston can be "unsuitable" for families due to safety. This location is perfect for families!
Our home overlooks a pond and you can sit outside on our spacious patio with your tea/coffee watching the herons and egrets fish in the peaceful waters. Hopefully you'll get to see an alligator (don't worry they won't bother you if you don't bother them). It is a truly relaxing location where you will feel the stress drain from your shoulders as you simply enjoy life.
The garden is almost always growing something, as we are in a sub-tropical paradise. Please feel free to use the garden for your cooking! Our outdoor veranda is an extension of the house and we literally eat/grill outside nearly everyday of the year.
It is warm here nearly all year, so we always have flowers growing. Brian is an enthusiast in the kitchen, so you will find nearly every item you could imagine in there (bread machine, blender, coffee grinder, electric tea kettle, etc).
Within the home, we have luxurious bedding with pillow top mattresses, nice sheets and oodles of puffy pillows. We have three comfy couches and a table that can extend to seat 6 with 2 barstools and outside seating as well. The charcoal grill will make your meals nice and smoky!
Fall asleep to the sound of frogs croaking and the sway of the palm trees outside your window. We adore where we live and we always love coming home. You will love it too!
Our peaceful Daniel Island location is just 10-15 minutes from Family Circle Cup Stadium, 10 minutes from Blackbaud Stadium, 15 minutes from Airport, 15 minutes from Tanger Outlets, 20 minutes from Isle of Palms beach (our favorite beach), 15 minutes from Boone Hall Plantation,35 minutes to Drayton, Magnolia and Middleton Plantation, and 25-35 minutes to historical Charleston. We are 2 hours from Myrtle Beach, 2 1/2 hours from Savannah, 2 hours from Hilton Head, 3 1/2 hours from St. Augustine, FL. We will provide you with plenty of information about the area, places the locals love to eat/visit, and directions/maps of the area.
You also have access to a washer/dryer if you need it.
Nearby: Family Circle Cup, Blackbaud Stadium, kayaking, boating, Daniel Island Marina, paddle boarding, jeep/hiking/4-wheeler/bike trails, excellent restaurants, grocery, Tanger Outlets, Boone Hall Plantation, etc. We can give you directions to all of the major locations and give you suggestions on what is best to see and what is not worth the money, as well as the history of the location for a more personal touch if you are interested in knowing more about the history of this gorgeous city. We have local history books and pamphlets available for you to peruse. For tourists that are on a budget, we can suggest plenty of cost-effective activities as well as inexpensive restaurants.

We also have surf boards that you can use at your own risk! Also, even though we have a baby, the house might not be baby-proofed to your standards, so please feel free to bring your own outlet covers or whatever you need to keep it safe for your little one. Interaction with GuestsWe will not be able to be there for your visit, as we only rent out the entire home when we are vacationing but we can assist via email and phone as much as you need from us, including area information. There is a door code that you will receive to get into the home and wireless password is in the room binder. The Neighborhood This is a clean, quiet family neighborhood. Built in 2008, the homes are all new and perfectly manicured. You can watch the palm trees sway from your window.
