The SpaceDownstairs, we rent our two bedroom suite on a nightly basis. It is large and comfortable, with its own outside entrance, separate from the rest of the inn. One of the rooms has a King bed, the other is a single pillowtop. Stay just the night or make it a long weekend; you'll relax and and have fun in our homey atmosphere.have access to the yard, garden and playground. We also offer free wireless internet to all rooms and spaces. Of course, everyone has use of the beautiful yards and barbecue areas, garden spaces, common kitchens and TV's. The NeighborhoodSherman County, Oregon is a beautiful area with breathtaking views and many opportunities for adventure and enjoyment. There are three rivers near Wasco, Oregon- the Columbia, John Day and Deschutes River- which provide a multitude of ways to spend a day or a week. There are hunting and fishing; hiking, boating, windsurfing, picnicking; the list of outdoor activities goes on and on. In the winter, Mt. Hood and its world-class ski facilities are not far off. In the summer, take a hike or visit one of the local museums. If you enjoy a more leisurely approach to travel, visit one of the many wineries and fine eating establishments in the Columbia Gorge, or take one of Oregon's scenic driving routes to enjoy the fantastic views. Suite with Queen with Private Bath. 3 rooms with Queen beds that share a bathroom with shower Everyone has used of the main Kitchen and TV room. The outside decks and yards We offer Overnight Rentals, Weekly Rentals and Monthly Rentals Great for family reunions-weddings-private retreats Oregon Raceway Park, Sherman County Historical Museum and Maryhill Museum, Windmills, Winery's, Cottonwood State Park Great Fishing three rivers The Columbia River, John Day River and Deschutes river are only a few miles away! Best Peaches in the world at Peach Beach State Park ! 2 commercial grade kitchen with in a 1/2 mile of the Inn. Wasco is quieted little town nestle in wheat country. We have a wonderful meat/liquor store. A great bar/restaurant to eat at. We are on the main street in Wasco. 9 miles west of Biggs Junction off Hwy 97. We have on off street parking.

Ample off street parking, fully equipped kitchen, and a sumptuous Marriott queen mattress ensure a stress free, relaxing stay. With the Maryhill attractions (museum, winery, fruit stands), St. John's Greek Orthodox monastery (Greek food), Columbia River and Cascade Mountain recreational opportunities all minutes away, as well as some great eats and treats in town, there is plenty to do. Guest AccessYou are welcome to access our backyard where there is a fire bowl, patio, and gazebo with electricity and a view of Mt. Hood. Interaction with GuestsWe will always be available to help at your request. The NeighborhoodRural neighborhood with chickens on property and goats and pony on adjoining property. Deer, quail, and wild turkeys are often seen on the property. The property has many very large ponderosa pine. In the winter will be heard and sometimes seen the resident great horned owls. Getting AroundGoldendale is a small community with grocery stores, hospital, and post office a short walk or drive away. The apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, with restaurants close by. The Glass Onion Restaurant has been voted the best restaurant in the gorge with patrons coming from all over the gorge and Yakima. There are also Chinese, American, and Mexican restaurants, as well as Dairy Queen, Subway, pizza places, and McDonald's. The IGA Market Fresh grocery store has the best donuts in the northwest! (in my opinion) There is also a bakery on Main St. Other Things to NoteFriendly black labrador retriever, named Jimmer Fredette. Jimmer resides across the driveway from the apartment.

The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood around The Red house is laid back and friendly. Take a walk to Goldendale's small downtown, chances are folks will say hi. Antiquing at Chloe's, is rewarding. The Glass Onion is always a great meal. The Town House can be counted on for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Gee's has good burgers. Goldendale has several pizza places. The Goldendale Chamber of Commerce located at the rear of City Hall is a cornucopia of brochures and things to explore, open most weekdays mornings to early afternoons. Klickitat County has a number of wineries, Maryhill Winery seems to be the star. In season the Maryhill Museum of Art and the Presby Museum are worth a peak for different reasons. The Klickitat trail is close by, as is the Goldendale Observatory. A road trip to the little town of Klickitat, and then to Lyle is a good way to get a lay of the land. Getting AroundGoldendale does not have public transportation. The Red House has a long paved driveway to park your vehicle.
