A Little About Us:
We both work in corporate in the CBD and enjoy good food and watching + participating in various sports. If you have questions about any sporting events, dining destinations, etc, we are more than happy to help if we can. We are both fairly well travelled (internationally and throughout Australia) and are more than happy to either point you in the right direction or help with your travel plans.
If you are a foodie, a climber, hiker or adventurer, a museum goer, a fighter, a photographer, a random sightsee’er, or just in town for business, we look forward to accommodating you.
Getting to us and getting around:
Airport - The international and Domestic airports are only 10 minutes drive away (traffic dependant). If we are available, we are happy to drop off or pick up from the airport - FREE.
Easy bus and train options, and taxis can easily be flagged out the front of the house or even more easily just up the road at the intersection. Bus to Bondi just across the road.
Full location details and directions will be provided upon securing your booking confirmation.
ALEXANDRIA– a growing vibrant hub, fast becoming a popular foodie destination - a few more facts:
Close to Eveleigh Farmers' markets and Artisan Markets (monthly) at Carriageworks (which also houses television studio for shows such as Masterchef and So you think you can dance).
Factory outlet central!
We are amidst a large bulk of factory outlets, heaven for the shopper! (however, if you need to avoid shopping temptations, we can point out routes to where you are going that will avoid these!).
Care for a run? Or go on a picnic? (You are most welcome to borrow a rug and picnic gear from us!) Head to either of the two parks below, your own Sydney tourist spot, or just cross the road to the park next door!

We are so close to the city, yet right across the road from the park and beautiful tree lined streets. There's a friendly pub in every direction and even more great little cafes! If you're on holidays, you're in the right spot for the warehouse sale outlets as well as easy access to Sydney's attractions.
Very close to both buses and trains! Also close proximity to the city if you prefer to walk. Guest AccessGuest/s have their own private bathroom and large screen tv. To guests who have stayed with us before, we are sorry to say that we lost her towards the end of June, 2015. We currently don't have a dog in the house, however we hope to foster and/or adopt in the near future when the right dog comes into our life.
**Update - From mid-end March 2016, we will have Archie the Boxer with us - he is a stately gentleman, 9 years young and very friendly. Feel free to ask any questions about him or ask for a photo.
In our experience, we are in a great location for both tourists and for those visiting on business. Those who have benefit the most from staying with us include expats moving to Sydney for work. We have a few living within close proximity, and even catch up with them occasionally at a local pub or play in a team together! We can definitely offer lots of tips for quickly finding work and accommodation for those staying with us.
