The SpaceThis is an add on guest room facing a quiet backyard. It features a standard twin sized bed with box spring and 12-inch thick mattress. The bed is protected with laboratory -proven, Hospitology brand mattress and pillow encasements.
The residence is situated at the end of a quiet tree-lined dead end street. It is in the village of Loudonville (Town of Colonie), bordering northern Albany. The door to the guest room is off the kitchen. It includes a desk, chest of drawers, window air conditioner, and coat rack. It has 4 windows on 3 sides, making for great illumination and air flow. The walls are well insulated to control temperature and noise from the outside. WIFI, cable TV, window air conditioner, hair blower/dryer, Keurig coffee maker. and electric heat are included.

The room is at ground floor level, not requiring any staircases for entry. Our guest room is situated well away from the bedrooms of the two permanent residents of this home. It is about 15 feet from the nearest exit. It has its own baseboard heat with thermostat. Also available is a flat screen LCD TV with just BASIC cable which provides five major networks in high definition. Room includes WIFI access. Just outside the door to the guest room is a half bathroom which is reserved just for our Air BNB guests. Our washer and dryer is also in that half bathroom. A common shower is located down a nearby hallway.
The guest bedroom has a privacy lock on the door for when the guest is in the room. This room includes a sofa.
A Golden Retriever canine "Tetley" lives here. She rarely barks, never bites, and loves all people. She does "friend" with guests, and may likely greet you when you arrive back home and miss you when you are away. She is not aggressive in the least. If you leave the guest room door open, Tetley will periodically wander in to say hi and look around for snacks. Guest AccessFull Kitchen facilities including modern convection oven, glass top range, automatic rice cooker, microwave oven, blender, refrigerator, coffee grinder, French Press coffee makers, popcorn maker, washer and dryer. Parking on safe dead end street is plentiful with room to park always available.
The guests room includes a dedicated half bath with toilet, sink, hair blower, bath towel, soap, and medicine cabinet. A shared shower is available down the hall as part of the main house.
Guest is free to sit in private backyard patio area or private sitting areas out front.
One of the finest community parks in the area, "The Crossings" is about 2 miles away and features extensive paths for biking, walking, roller-blading, sitting and exercising.
The residence provides secure WiFi. A high-capacity wireless router ensures maximum access and data transfer rates for all the household users.
For guests with bicycles we do provide a shed for storage. We are also happy to provide outdoor space for kayaks, canoes and other non-trailered boats. Interaction with GuestsOne or both mature house occupants, including the property owner, will usually be present. (The owner and a family member reside here.) We give our guests space to be on their own, and do not require any social interaction of them. We are glad to chat, talk about local activities and stores, etc. and help with any questions they have about getting around our area.

As needed, we will need to provide basic information about the house such as door security, using appliances etc keeping things safe and secure... all the normal things associated with living in a residential home.

The NeighborhoodLocated in the village of Loudonville, Town of Colonie, New York, which is just North of Albany, NY. This is a solidly residential area for streets all around this listing. Excellent, fast response police and emergency medical services by 911 service. The Town of Colonie reports one of the lowest crime rates in the US.
This is a quiet dead end street with lots of trees and peace. Quiet neighbors on all sides. Just a short drive to The Crossings park.

The guest room is adjacent to the kitchen, sharing one wall with the kitchen on the other side. During meal times, during the morning, day, and early evening, some kitchen noises such as dishwashing and, conversation, microwave oven sounds may be heard in the guest room for brief periods.
Cell phone reception in the house is good to fair quality for some providers and cell phone models. For some Verizon Wireless customers using modern phones, reception has been good and problem free.
