The SpaceLocated on the ground floor of our tri-level semi, the self contained apartment is full of beachside charm. Opening onto a garden courtyard with outdoor setting, you have your own private entry. The interior features whitewashed walls and terracotta floors, feature sandstone wall, block out blinds and white wooden blinds. With an eclectic mix of artwork, candles, bentwood chairs and antique dining table - the beach pad is both inviting and well equipped. There is a queen size bed with fresh linen, built in wardrobes, bedside tables/lighting in the sleeping area which can easily separate from the living area by closing a curtain. Although the space sleeps 2 guests, we do have 2 additional single mattresses should you be travelling with children/extra guests (additional charges apply). The living space has 3 seater leather sofa, shag rug, gas heating, TV and DVD with Foxtel and dining table for 4. The kitchenette is fully equipped with kettle, toaster, small bench top oven with hot plate along with cutlery, crockery, glassware. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, hot chocolate, salt/pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar are all provided as are basic kitchen products (washing up liquid, surface spray, cloths, tea towels, garbage bags). The ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink with fluffy white towels, candles and complimentary amenities (sunscreen, shower gel, insect spray, shampoo/conditioner). Guest AccessPrivate use of own ground floor studio which has Queen size bed, sitting area, dining area, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. Guests have their own private entry and are welcome to use the courtyard off their studio. Interaction with GuestsGuests are provided with their own privacy should they wish but will be invited to join us for a drink, family meal, BBQ with friends - whatever we have going on at the time with our family life. Could be a cup of tea and biscuit or a game of Rummykub! If we are taking the boat out and have some seats to fill by all means come along with us or if we are heading down to the beach with the paddleboards come have a paddle. We will meet guests on arrival to welcome them and then they will be left to their own devices should they wish - we are only a staircase away! The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood has a village like atmosphere and everything is within a short stroll. The famous Doyle's seafood restaurant and iconic Watsons Bay Hotel are 3 minutes walk away as are grocery store, Thai restaurant (takeaway available), historic Dunbar House (great for breakfast and lunch) and Teagardens Cafe. Harbour beaches, swimming baths and coastal walks are on the doorstep and Summer is a busy time of socialising with the locals whilst enjoying the great weather. Getting AroundPublic transport is convenient and accessible with a bus stop 50 metres from the door which takes you to Bondi Junction and the City. The ferry terminal is a five minute walk from our place and the ferry takes you to Circular Quay. Other Things to NoteWe like to provide a "home away from home" for our guests so have equipped the beach pad with those small things that make you feel at home. Scented candles and votive candles, great selection of DVDs and books, Foxtel (with selection of pre-recorded movies for those rainy days), beach towels, umbrella, board games, hair dryer, sunscreen, insect repellant, body wash. The fridge is stocked with butter, preserves, milk and free range eggs along with a loaf of freshly baked sourdough (our own) and house baked muesli so you can make your own breakfast. Tea and coffee are also supplied. Guests are welcome to use the paddleboards and surfboards.

The SpaceThe room features a queen bed with Sheridan sheets, a Chiropractic mattress and a selection of maps and guidebooks, including the 2015 Good Food Guide. Perfect for an unforgettable holiday, or for those looking for somewhere to get ready before a wedding at Dunbar House, Vaucluse House or the Watsons Bay hotel, all of which are walking distance. The shared areas include the salt water pool set in tropical gardens and downstairs dining room and upstairs lounge room with a bar, fireplace, balcony and views of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and city skyline. The balcony comes complete with a BBQ and stylish wicker lounges which are perfect for kicking back with a drink, watching the Manly ferry or one of the many cruise ships sail past on Sydney's stunning harbour. Watsons Bay is teeming with must see attractions including the South Head of the Harbour and lighthouse, the Gap and some of Sydney’s most beautiful Harbour beaches including Camp Cove, where Governor Phillip and the First Fleet rested for a night before landing at Sydney Cove in 1788 and Parsley Bay. Our house is perfectly located moments to all, a nine minute walk to the Watsons Bay Hotel, the ferry, Doyles famous fish restaurant on the beach, a great local Thai restaurant and Dunbar House, serving some of Sydney’s best breakfasts and around two minutes from the start of a stunning cliff walk to Bondi Beach and the Grumpy Baker and deli 'foodie' hub. The area is also the start of some of the most beautiful coastal walks in Sydney to Camp Cove, Lady Bay, the South Head of the Harbour, the Gap, Parsley Bay, historic Vaucluse House and tea gardens, Neilson Bay, the Hermitage Foreshore walk to Rose Bay, or the cliff walk to Bondi Beach. The NeighborhoodShort walk to Watsons Bay Hotel, ferry, shops, Dunbar House, Vaucluse House, longer walk to Vaucluse shops and the Grumpy Baker. Getting AroundMonday to Friday in peak hour there is a rocket ferry (around 15 minutes) from Watsons Bay to Circular Quay. During the day ferries run to Rose Bay, Double Bay, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Manly or Pyrmont. The ferry is a 10 minute walk. Buses to Bondi Beach and the city are also available from a bus stop which is a 2-5 minute walk and are the best option late at night. From the airport you can catch a taxi or you can take the scenic route - by catching the airport train to Circular Quay and then the ferry to Watsons Bay from Circular Quay. It was originally a fishing village and its streets still includes beautiful versions of fishing cottages as well as a number of historic houses. With one of Sydney's most beautiful beaches Camp Cove offers swimming, snorkelling and diving options and is a popular area for kayaks and paddleboards ( which can be hired locally) . There are numerous spectacular walks in the area with stunning views. These include a path around Sydney's South head with historic buildings and lighthouses, views to the harbour bridge and Manly and the best spot to watch the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. Other walks include the dramatic cliffs at the Gap which you can follow all the way to Bondi and the harbourfront walk to Parsley Bay, Neilsen Park and Rose Bay. The NeighborhoodCamp Cove is a lovely neighborhood with friendly residents. The local Camp Cove Beach is lovely and child friendly with its calm waves. Getting AroundThe ferry is a perfect way to get in to the city. There is also the Eco Hopper which can get you across the harbor to Manly in 20 minutes.       The SpaceThe is a gorgeous waterfront sun filled house perfect for family or group. 4 bedrooms (one bedroom is the cabin seen in photos). 2 bathrooms. Garage plus free parking in the street. This is casual living at its best with relaxed decor, sea breezes and light filled rooms. The home has three living rooms plus huge outdoor deck with a large sofa. Two indoor dining areas, two outdoor dining areas. Views from several rooms over the water to the city and Sydney Harbour Bridge beyond. Large walled garden with grassed area. Sunny kitchen overlooking the garden with 120cm Smeg gas cooker plus microwave and dishwasher. Plenty of appliances, crockery and glasses. Separate laundry with washer and dryer. Walk out your front door for a swim at the harbour pool across the road or 20 metres along the shoreline to an idyllic beach. You are surrounded by perfect swimming bays with sandy shores plus cafes and restaurants with views a short stroll away. If you want to experience Sydney in a relaxed village style but only minutes from the city and Bondi then Watsons Bay can't be beaten. This is one of only a few properties on the waterfront. The ferry to the city and other highlights (Zoo, Manly, Darling Harbour), is 100m from our door. You can sit on the deck and watch it arrive. So even though you're in a place with a village atmosphere, all of Sydney is minutes away by ferry. Owners car with residents free parking sticker for Bondi Beach available for hire. Free wifi. The NeighborhoodWatsons Bay is a truly charming village on the edge of Sydney Harbour. It's got something for everyone with beaches, a netted harbour pool, playgrounds, pub, cafes and restaurants. You would not need to leave the suburb to have an amazing holiday. Bondi is a 5 minute drive away if you feel like a change of scene and the city and all it has to offer is a 15 minute ferry ride. Manly is a 20 minute ferry ride. Getting AroundThe ferry leaves every 20 minutes for circular quay and Manly so day trips to other places couldn't be easier. We can watch the ferry approaching from our deck and then go down to catch it! Owners car available to rent or buses leave Watsons Bay regularly. House has a lockup garage. Other Things to NoteWe have 'toys' such a stand up paddle boards and kayaks that you're welcome to use. Lessons in paddle boards are held on our beach so you can get some tips if you fancy. There are two friendly cats that will remain at the house and need feeding dry bits morning and night. They generally stay outside but may come inside occasionally. If you need to go away we can arrange for the cleaner to feed them. Not suitable for people who don't like cats or have an allergy. Our cleaner can be hired to come during your stay. You would pay him directly. Also catering companies can be arranged if you want to enjoy the house but want a break from cooking. The house has a lock up garage that's yours to use if you have a car or hire our car.

      The SpaceWhale house was very recently built and is perched within the spectacular setting of Vaucluse/Watsons Bay on the cliff edge. It is truly luxury living. Locally there are 4-5 harbour beaches, the highly popular Watsons Bay village with shops and restaurants. Bondi Beach is 10 minutes drive away and the city is just a 10km drive. All mod cons. Sauna, pool, internet etc. Guest AccessThe whole house is accessible with the exception of one room where we keep our private belongings. Interaction with GuestsWe're always on call to help out. Getting AroundBuses run to and from the city regularly and there is a stop only 50m away. There's also the Watsons Bay ferry (7mins walk) which runs through the day. There are late night buses that run from outside the door of the apartment. Other Things to NoteWe are minutes away from many beaches and the famous Gap Cliffs that look out into the pacific ocean. Bondi beach is a short bus trip away from outside the door and if your game about a 30 minute famous cliff walk which starts outside the door as well.

          The SpaceWe think our space makes for a very relaxing way to enjoy our beautiful city and its harbour.We are two minutes from a harbour beach and easy walking distance to some beautiful harbourside walks through bushland. We are an easy walk from a coffee shop, a cosmopolitan restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner ,Thai restaurant , fine dining at Dunbar house and the famous Doyle's fish restaurant . The fast ferry to the city takes 10mins and the longer route ferry takes about 25mins. These run from late morning to late afternoon weekdays and at weekends until 9pm Guest AccessGuests will have the use of our laundry which is external to the main house and adjacent to the guest room. We have delightful neighbours and are very keen that guests should respect them and avoid loud music.Access to our guest accommodation is through a side gate in Moore St Interaction with GuestsWe have left information about our local area in your room and will be available to help you settle in . We are both fairly busy so it will be important for us to know when you plan to arrive - the room will be available after 2pm. We will leave in your frig the makings of a simple continental breakfast - cereal , milk and fruit and of course tea and coffee facilities but our area is very well supplied with other options ! The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood contains many attractions with harbourside and ocean walks available and a netted harbour swimming pool. A short bus ride takes you to Neilsen Park , a delightful netted harbourside swimming area set in a beautiful bushy park and close to Vaucluse House - an historic house originally the home of the Wentworth family and open for inspection most days.It is a very short walk to the ferry wharf from our house and this gives various options with a ferry to the city or a hop on hop off option which includes a trip to Manly Getting AroundAs well as access to the ferry , we have a bus stop outside our house from where a bus goes to Edgecliff railway station. From there one can catch a train to the city. The bus to Edgecliff goes through Rose Bay and Double Bay. Other Things to NoteOur room contains a frig and microwave but is not suitable for making a meal apart from breakfast . The microwave can be used for reheating a take -away but otherwise there are many eat out options nearby

          The SpaceThe room has morning sun, is on the first floor with its own modern bathroom ensuite. There is a chest of drawers and a good size wardrobe. Guest AccessGuests are welcome to use the kitchen, dining room, lounge room and the garden. The NeighborhoodThe area where we live has a very unique flair. The coastal walk to Bondi along the cliffs, past the light house, is just up the road. And in the other direction, the walk to the Gap and South Head offers spectacular views of the Sydney skyline and the harbour. There are several harbour beaches within a 15 minute walk. It's a relaxed beachside suburb with some great restaurants, a trendy beach club and some cafes but without the large numbers of backpackers you'd find in Bondi or Coogee. It's the perfect place to stay if you are attending a wedding at Dunbar House or at the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, both are just a short walking distance away. No need to wait for a taxi late at night, you can walk back to your accommodation. Getting AroundBuses are going all day to Bondi Beach and Bondi Junction as well as into the city / CBD via Kings Cross. The ferry is a beautiful option for public transport. You can go straight to Circular Quay and the Opera House within a 15 minutes ride or take the ferry to Manly across the harbour and along the old quarantine station.

          The SpaceMore like a private beach house - this first floor, bright and sunny North facing apartment opens up onto a wrap around balcony that overlooks the leafy suburb of Watson's Bay with a view across Sydney harbour. An open plan kitchen and dining area flow into a comfortable lounge with direct access onto a private balcony with room for outdoor dining. Two generous light filled bedrooms with a King, and Queen size beds. The King can be reconfigured into two singles beds if travelling with kids or friends. Ferrys run in and out of Watsons Bay to central Sydney and Circular Quay, and there is also a direct ferry to Manly and Tarango Zoo as well. The 324 and 325 Buses run frequently and bus stops are close by. The best of both worlds - Spectacular Bondi Beach is only a 10 minute drive away. Parking is never an issue in this area. Great place to stay if you're attending a wedding at historic Dunbar House ( a shot walk) or beautiful Vaucluse House ( 5 minute drive). The NeighborhoodWatsons Bay is a like a small seaside village in a large city. Surrounding natural beauty and incredible views back to the city make this a dream location. There are a number of harbour beaches only a short walk from here. Kutti Beach, Parsley Bay and a bit further along Nielsen Park. A 15 min walk from our apartment is Camp Cove, a secluded and beautiful white sand harbour beach. Frank Lowy and George Miller live on this beach and the area is beautiful to walk around with it's fisherman style cottages. There are many great spots to drink, dine and enjoy the iconic views across the Harbour. Enjoy sunset drinks and the Watsons Bay Hotel, fish and chips at Doyles, Greek Street Food at Nautica Restaurant or High tea at Dunbar House all within 10 mintes walk. Hire paddleboards or Kayaks at nearby Rose Bay. Pack a picnic and walk out to the Southern lighthouse through the National park at Camp Cove. Getting AroundThe bus routes to either Bondi, Bondi Junction or the Sydney City are located a 5 minute walk out of our front door. There is also Ferries that run from Watsons Bay to the Sydney city (15 minute trip), and to Manly and Tarongo Zoo.

            The SpaceYou will have private use of a top floor apartment in a small block of 4 units. This is a lovely, large (95sqm), one-bedroom self-contained apartment that is comfortably appointed. The bedroom is spacious, with a queen-size bed with fresh linen. A trundle is available upon request for a third guest (extra charges apply). We also have an additional single mattress available should you wish to sleep an extra guest or child. All linens are provided. The large and airy living area includes a lounge suite, breakfast chairs and coffee table, dining table and a study desk. There is a large and sunny, equipped kitchen for your private use. We live in the apartment downstairs in this quiet, family-friendly apartment block. We are happy to provide information about local activities and tips to enjoy the area! The NeighborhoodWatson's Bay is a beautiful gem on Sydney Harbour. With a village feel, it is a lovely retreat from the busy city seen across the harbour. With gorgeous beaches and a range of cafes, restaurants, small shops and a quaint library, it is an ideal getaway just a 15 minute ferry ride to the city centre. We are less than 100m from Gibson's Beach and Dunbar House and just around the corner from Watson's Bay village. It's an easy 5 minute walk along the waterfront to the famous Doyle's restaurant, great take-away fish and chips and Watson's Bay Hotel and 10 minutes walk to stunning Camp Cove. Bondi beach is a 10 minute drive away. Getting AroundWatson's Bay ferry wharf is less than 5 minutes walk away and provides a fantastic access to Sydney Harbour and Sydney's iconic attractions. Circular Quay, with the CBD, Opera House, Harbour Bridge and The Rocks, is just a 20 minute ferry ride away. Manly and Taronga Zoo are also easily accessed with a 15 minute ferry trip. Buses to Bondi and the City run regularly from bus stops which are 30m and 100m from the apartment. Ample, unrestricted on-street parking is available in the immediate vicinity.
