I am happy to fill you in on local attractions and services; there are so many to enjoy around here! Don't miss world-class Chanticleer Gardens 10 minutes away, the Wharton Esherick House within 25 minutes, a stroll around beautifully manicured estates in the neighborhood, shopping at the famous King of Prussia luxury mall (and surrounding stores, like Crate and Barrel, The Container Store, Costco) within 15 minutes, Ikea within 20 minutes, and the great shopping at Suburban Square outdoor mall within 15 minutes. The NeighborhoodCHARMING / FUN / CONVENIENT
ENJOY THE CHARMING town center of Wayne and its lovely residential area! Located on a main road for convenient highway, shopping and services access - yet just one turn onto any side street promises a pleasant walk through the beautifully manicured residential streets of the Philadelphia Mainline. Or walk / bike on a quiet, paved, tree-lined path that runs for several miles, parallel to but separate from the main thoroughfare. There are also several parks, playgrounds, ballfields also within walking distance.
HAVE FUN!: Aside from the many Philadelphia attractions (a short train ride away or 25 minutes by highway), visit nearby Chanticleer world-class gardens, Jenkins Arboretum, Wayne and Mainline Art Centers, and Peoples Light & Theatre. For local nightlife, there is a variety of pubs, indie / mainstream / IMAX movie theaters, house concerts), and events hosted at the many libraries, local colleges, schools and town center. For shopping, close by is (arguably) the largest luxury shopping mall in the U.S. (surrounded by even more stand alone stores like The Container Store, Pier One, COSTCO, Crate & Barrel, etc.), Ikea. Many come in and stay overnight just to shop, relax and enjoy the area, particularly around the holidays. Apple fans can take free classes at either of the 2 Apple stores in the area. Local and holiday events include the professional fireworks a few blocks away for 4th of July, a local parade that passes right in front of the building for Memorial Day, a summer jazz music festival in the heart of Wayne, the famous Devon Horse Show and Fair in the spring, and the Radnor Hunt (don't think any foxes are harmed these days, just more of a tradition with a lot of horses, dogs, fanfare, apparel and events).
MAXIMUM CONVENIENCE: A large variety of restaurants, from take out and casual to gourmet, are within walking distance: coffee shops / (good!) burgers / pizza / hotdogs / salads / bakeries / frozen yogurt or ice cream , plus Spanish / Mexican / Italian / French / Japanese / Chinese / Greek restaurants and pubs. Shopping within walking distance includes: large supermarket, dry cleaner, drugstores, TJMaxx / HomeGoods / BedBathBeyond, computer supply, upscale consignment (clothing, home goods and furniture), vitamin / supplement, clothing. Many banks, doctors, dentists, acupuncturist, massage therapists, full-featured gym with swimming pool, library, post office, houses of worship a movie theatre and a park. Walk or drive to several of the many local colleges. Tennis courts and ball fields at many nearby parks and schools. Getting AroundEASE OF ACCESS:

OR you can take the train (that is 1 block from the building) to / from the Philadelphia Airport. Or just get on Rt 30 (Lancaster Ave) in front of the building and keep following it west until you run into Lancaster, with its own attractions, like the beautiful Amish farm country and farmers markets (I'll fill you in on the rest when you are here!). Other Things to NoteTRANSPORTATION: the SEPTA train is 1 block away for access to most of the greater Philadelphia area. Or 1/2 mile away catch Amtrak. In one mile access the "Blue Route" (476), that connects to I-76 at the first exit north (to go east into Philadelphia or west toward Lancaster).
