    The SpaceSleeps up to 10+! 4 bedrooms each with a queen, and daylight basement suite with a queen and 2 twins. Super comfy beds! 3 bathrooms. Big roomy rebuilt 1905 farmhouse, fireplace, 3 porches, wrap around porch, sun porch, screen porch! Stone patio with fire pit. Quiet - 30 mins to Omaha or Lincoln. Base price is for 2 people and increases per person. Use of the full house - Tom and I live here too. The total number of guests must be submitted with your booking request. If you need room for more than 10 we can accommodate with blow up beds, toddler beds, couches, etc - just coordinate in advance. Our lovely old lab "Juno" and a few cats roam on our acreage, and sleep only in the garage. Interaction with animals is avoidable - and if you are a person that needs to stay away, please let us know in advance so that we may insure separation. Otherwise Juno will be happily wagging her tail to greet you at your car door. :-) We will provide you with a "House Users Guide" when you arrive which contains the wi-fi password and other guidance. Guests with pets are always assigned to the nice big daylight basement suite. If you are allergic you will be comfortable in one of the 3 upstairs bedrooms that we maintain to insure pets are never exposed to the second floor. Guest AccessWiFi, Frig n Freezer space. Kitchen. The NeighborhoodWe live on 6 acres along a creek, wooded with farmland all around, big lawn, garden, lots of flowers. Very peaceful and quiet. A slice of heaven in the country. Close to bike trails and State Parks! Getting AroundEasy access from Interstate 80 going east or west. You will want a car. Bring your bike too (trails). 1 hour to Omaha airport by car. Gas station 3 miles away. Garage available for $10/night. Other Things to NoteOur house is so big - we give you a "House User's Guide" when you arrive, so you can feel completely comfortable.

    The SpaceOur property is perfect for anyone needing clean, affordable lodging. Anybody from the transient worker to a couple wanting a quiet get-a-way this rental is perfect. You'll have a private room with your own bath and kitchenette which is all in a separate building from the main house and makes it even more private. It is well equipped with amenities such as a coffee maker, keurig, refrigerator, microwave, assorted dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. There is a flat screen smart tv, cable, free wifi, and a plush, pillow top full size bed. Located on the edge of Nebraska City, we are 5 minutes to most shops and restaurants with easy access to highway 2, 75 and interstate 29. Guest AccessPlenty of free parking is available. Guest will have access to outdoor area with their own table and chairs to enjoy the rolling Nebraska countryside. There is no washer and dryer available but for a small fee laundry services are available by hosts. Interaction with GuestsWe live in the house next to the listing so we are around most weekends and evenings. We are private people and want to give our guests their privacy too, but we are always available for any problems, concerns or questions. If our schedules match up with guests we are more than happy to provide a guided tour of our fantastic city. You just jave to let us know if you're interested. We want your stay to be a pleasurable and memorable experience. The NeighborhoodWe love where we live because we are in the country where it is peaceful, quiet and very private but also very close to Nebraska City and all of it's amenities.     The SpaceThe cabin was constructed with a 1890's theme. A step back in time with a few "necessities" like cable TV, microwave, a small (cube) refridgerator and, oh yes and a full bath and running water!!! Guest AccessFor nights under the stars, there is a campfire pit with a grill grate that fits over the fire pit for cooking out, we also have grill baskets, firewood and starter. An old dirt road for a walk in the country. And Honey Creek, once well known for bees, is nearby if you want to explore. Interaction with GuestsPlease let us know when you plan to arrive. Jerry takes great pride in having everything just right. He will greet you on arrival and answer any questions you may have. There is coffee and tea in the cabin and ICE by request at the school house. Jerry has lived here all of his 70+ years, ask him anything! Oh yes, he is also a docent on the river barge, The Captain Meriwether Lewis, in Brownville so you can ask him anything about that too! Also, please let us know if you will be staying past the regular check out time of 1PM. The NeighborhoodThe only thing we overlook is a cornfield, a hayfield and a creek. The days and nights are quiet and leisurely. If you would like to try some of our favorites: For home cooked meals try La Portal Mexican Restaurant or Hickory Road BBQ in Auburn. Brownville has the Lyceum, always made from scratch and delicious (check for open times) Summertime is big around here and there is a little bit of everything to do. Check the fliers on the desk, we try to keep it current, and as always, ASK US! Getting AroundWe hope you come by car, bicycle, motorcycle or horseback. There is no public transportion way out here! And BE SURE to follow our directions on how to get here. Two out of three miss it with GPS! Seriously.... Other Things to NoteWe are between Peru (2 miles) and Brownville (6 miles) It is VERY IMPORTANT that you follow OUR written directions to get here from highway 67 (no other GPS or MapQuest will work correctly) FUN THINGS TO DO ...
