The SpaceA large bright studio apartment with beautiful wood floors, a full bath with shower and a galley kitchen equipped with a small fridge and stove. The decor is classic elegance with modern simplicity and chic/eco-conscious. Additional amenities include: organic cotton sheets + towels as well as hypoallergenic pillows. Imported linen hand screened designer pillows decorate the room, along with original watercolor paintings. Located in a breathtaking area, Granby is noted for its working farms and horse friendly community. Our beautiful rural character is rooted in the New England agriculture tradition. We feature a variety of 24 unique, small working farms, fruit orchards and dairy farms that shouldn't be missed. *During the spring/summer months, the suite is shaded by beautiful large maple trees, which keep it naturally cool. *All cleaning products (dish soap, shampoo etc.) are organic. Guest AccessPrivate, with own entrance. Interaction with GuestsWe will greet you upon arrival and available if you need us. The NeighborhoodEnjoy a peaceful stay in a majestic center chimney 1789 colonial, surrounded by beautiful gardens and exterior spaces. Gorgeous wide American chestnut and pine floors throughout, along with beautiful hand planed mantel and raised panel walls extend the entire length of the suite. Nestled in the hills of the Historic District of West Granby Connecticut , we are minutes from farmers markets, the famous "garlic farm", horse farms...and (we think) the best hiking in Connecticut and the Berkshires. In addition, we are located a 2 hour drive from Boston and 2.25 to NYC, and one hour from the Connecticut shoreline. Suitable for one person, or couple.
