The NeighborhoodWest Leederville is an eclectic suburb to the west of Perth CBD and is only 20 minutes walk or about 2.5km from the Perth city center. This newly refurbished townhouse is situated between Subiaco and Leederville, which are two of Perth’s best areas for dining and coffee! They are both about a 15 minute walk away. Getting AroundA large Coles supermarket is within a 2 minute walk. Within this center you will also find a Chemist, Newsagency and a bottle-shop. One of my favourite café’s – ‘Piccolo’s Corner’ is a 200m walk away! There are two railway stations within 1.2km. One travels south to the city and then onto Mandurah/Bunbury. The other train line goes west towards the coastline and Fremantle. Subiaco Oval is 1.5km away. The new Perth Arena is 2.5km. St John of God Hospital is walking distance away. Nearby are dentists, medical specialists and many medical centre. Bunning’s is next to the hospital, which can also be very handy! The SpaceThe room for rent is a Master Bedroom and is in a lovely, recently renovated 2 storey family home. It comprises of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Spacious kitchen and family area. The kitchen opens out to decking used for BBQ's and entertaining. The room is very large (master bedroom size) complete with it's own en-suite. We have a 3 yo daughter and a pet cat so we're a small family. Our neighbors keep to themselves so it's nice and quiet. Guest AccessThe guest's room is upstairs so you'll have total privacy. The kitchen and laundry is accessible to you as well. The front bedrooms of our home are off limits however. Access to the house is down the side which is paved and through the back door. Interaction with GuestsWe are preferring a quiet person. We're pretty easy going, however, we have a young daughter so we require our guest to be mindful of that. The NeighborhoodSituated in a very central suburb. West Leederville borders with Subiaco, West Perth and Leederville. Other tourist attractions such as Kings Park, Swan River are nearby as well as lots of trendy cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Luna Cinemas a short stroll away. Educational institutions like UWA, Perth Mod and TAFE are close by plus hospitals, parks and Paterson Stadium (Subiaco oval) Getting Around5 minute walk to two train lines, one of which will service the beautiful beaches of Perth and the Port township of Fremantle. Nearest bus stop is a 3 minute walk which will take you to Perth City and transit to the airport shuttle. We're about 3 kms from the city, I work in the city and cycle in and it takes me 13 minutes. The Green Cat (free city bus service) has a bus stop about a 3 minute walk from our home. Perfect! Parking is permit regulated however there is usually free parking nearby. AIRPORT TRANSFERS If you're coming from the airport, a taxi fare should cost around $40 and take about 20-30 mins drive. There is an airport bus shuttle service as well. The SpaceWhether you are in Perth for business or for a family holiday, we feel that our recently renovated, secure, 2bedroom apartment will cater to all your needs in a fantastic, central location. My apartment is located on the ground floor at the rear of the complex, so there are no stairs to negotiate and it is free from road noise. Accommodation consists of a queen size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom, with a portacot available if needed. Clean linen and towels provided, with spare sets available for longer stay guests. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove and oven; full sized family fridge, microwave and some pantry items. The kitchen contains most usual conveniences plus a collection of complimentary breakfast options, including cereal, milk, tea and coffee. With 2 supermarkets within walking distance, it is easy to create meals at home rather than always dining out. The bathroom has a good sized shower with good pressure and lots of hot water. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer supplied. The internal laundry has a front load washer with washing detergent and softener supplied. A communal washing line is located directly out the back; we also have a portable clothes airer if needed. The open plan lounge and dining offer lots of space for families or visitors. I have a large selection of adults and children’s books and DVD’s you are welcome to if you need a break from exploring Perth. The rear courtyard has a gas BBQ and lots of space and seating. If you have a minute it would be great if you could give the herb garden a quick water and please help yourself when cooking. There is an undercover car bay available for guests. PETS: The apartment is fully tiled so your pets are welcome inside, we just ask that they stay off the furniture and you clean up any mess. If your dog barks or chews, please do not leave them home unattended, there are a number of dog exercise parks within walking distance and most of the local cafés are dog friendly. Guest AccessGuests will have full access to all parts of the property and are encouraged to make themselves at home. Keys will be arranged once a booking is confirmed. I will try to meet you at the apartment for arrival to handover keys otherwise they will be left in a lock box for your collection. Interaction with GuestsWhere possible I will personally welcome guests and show them around, as we live nearby. After that I am just a phone call away to help with queries or information. Guests will be left in peace to enjoy their stay. The NeighborhoodThere are a number of excellent coffee shops just a few minutes walk from our apartment, less than 5minutes away. Leederville is an easy 10minute walk and offers fantastic restaurants and bars. There is a Coles supermarket 10mins walk along Cambridge Street or an 24hr IGA in Leederville. Princess Margaret and St John of God Hospitals are both within walking distance and Sir Charles Gardner, King Edward and Royal Perth Hospitals are also close by. We are walking distance to Domain Stadium for the AFL fans. There are a number of excellent children's playgrounds all within a short walk as well as dog exercise areas. The SpaceThe townhouse is open plan living, dining and kitchen downstairs with bedrooms and bathroom/laundry upstairs. Its got a cosy and slightly arty feel. Four people fit comfortably. Feel free to enjoy the summer sun in the courtyard. Guest AccessAddress is UNIT 7, 72 Subiaco Rd. The unit is about halfway down the building block. You are welcome to enjoy the entire unit and courtyard. Interaction with GuestsI am happy to help give you ideas and information on this beautiful city. The NeighborhoodSet in a leafy and relaxed street close to the train line, can be busy but it's never noisy. The unit is close to so many things, including trendy restaurant strips in Subiaco and Leederville. Its also very close to Subiaco Domain Stadium - home of footy in Western Australia and Princess Margaret children's Hospital. Being just outside the CBD you can walk or catch a train/bus in a few minutes with the hassle of city traffic. Getting AroundEasiest way to get around is walking and public transport. The CAT buses are free into the city and a 5-10 min walk from here. The train is 5 mins away and takes you either into Fremantle or Perth City. Heading to Claremont and Cottesloe is easily accessible by taking the Fremantle train. There is a cheap car rental place (No BIRDS Bayswater) on Hay St in Subiaco not far from the unit. Other Things to NoteStreet parking is busy during the working week, but never fear there is designated parking for my unit under the apartment block.

    The SpaceOxford Street is the premier restaurant and cafe strip in Perth and is a 5 minute walk. Northbridge a bigger and more diverse entertainment precinct is a 25 minute walk or a 5 minute train ride. The city is only 30 minutes by foot or 5 minutes on the train. There is a free bus service at the bottom of our street ( 2 minutes away) that takes into the city Monday to Friday - and home. Walking distance to Subiaco Oval and Subiaco cafe district. Guest AccessIt is a two story house - with your bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The lounge, dinning, kitchen and outdoor alfresco areas are common areas. Peter and Violet live upstairs and this space is reserved for family. Interaction with GuestsWe are semi retired and are often home and happy to provide tips and advice on how to get the best out of your stay in Perth The NeighborhoodOxford Street is a landmark. Numerous great cafes available. Mt Hawthorne and Scarborough Beach are a 20 minute walk and is an emerging entertainment precinct. Subiaco is close by and Northbridge - the main entertainment precinct for Perth is close by. Getting AroundLocated in a central transport hub. Joondalup train line is 2 minutes away and one stop to Perth. Fremantle train line is 8 minutes away. The free Green CAT Bus is 2 minutes away and operates into Perth during week days. If you have a car, the freeway, North, South and Graham Farmer are all 5 minutes away. Other Things to NoteWe have a parking space for you if you have a car. It may be under cover - if not we give you a permit that allows you to park directly in front of the house in the street for free.

The NeighborhoodThe local area is fantastic for super cool cafes: Hylin, 2 minutes walk east on Railway Parade & Mary Street Bakery, 2 minutes walk west on Railway Parade & many more. Plus there's J. B. O'Reilly's Irish pub - 2 minutes north on Kerr Street. For walks, Lake Monger, north of Cambridge Street and magnificent Kings Park, overlooking the Swan River & city below. Within 10-15 minutes you can walk to Subiaco, centred around Rokeby Road, or the alternative restaurant/cafe/shopping area that is Oxford Street in Leederville. It is a 15 minute walk to the 24 hour 'IGA' supermarket at 313 Vincent Street, Leederville. Coles supermarket is only 5 minutes walk away on Cambridge St. The house is also within walking distance to Subiaco oval (AFL football), Princess Margaret Hospital for children & St. John of God Hospital. Getting AroundThe home is a two minute walk from West Leederville train station, giving easy access to Perth, Northbridge, Claremont, Cottesloe, Fremantle and beaches. There is also a free 'Green Cat' bus to Perth city & Elizabeth Quay, near Leederville station (10 minutes walk). It is also enjoyable to walk through West Perth, down Hay Street to the City, within 30 minutes. This is downhill all the way and also passes near to Kings Park & the Parliament precinct. (A free Cat bus, or train, can take you home). The house is in a highly walkable area with all necessities available on foot within five minutes, including a supermarket, chemist, cafes, hairdressers/barbers, travel agencies & post office (north-west of home on Cambridge Street & along Railway Parade). Other Things to NoteFree permit parking is available outside the property, please ask for a permit if required. The house is fitted with ceiling fans throughout including sleeping areas, both indoors and outdoors. For the cooler months there is also a wood fireplace and oil heater.
