It is a 2 bedroom condominium (I live in the other bedroom) in a quiet westside neighborhood close to UCLA, Santa Monica, Century City, Beverly Hills, Fox Studios, Sony Studios, and of course to the beach. The neighborhood is tree lined, safe, and walking distance to groceries and restaurants. Unlike many places in Los Angeles, my neighborhood is walk-able and you see many people, young and old, walking and biking to work and school and walking their dogs late at night. People that have stayed with me comment on the relaxed, quiet atmosphere of my place, also, the convenience of nearby university centers and financial and entertainment companies. You don't need a car if you rent my place. There are direct bus services to Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and the beach (much easier than driving and finding parking), the Getty Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Venice, UCLA (the university), and many places to hike (what? hiking in LA? Yes, beautiful mountains and green hills overlooking the ocean). You will have your own private bedroom and private bathroom. You have access to the kitchen and fridge and the laundry facilities in the building. There is even a parking garage! Looking forward to hosting you and your family/friends. Getting AroundWe are 1/2 block from the #8 Blue Bus which takes you into Santa Monica and to UCLA. The #8 bus also connects with all other busses and public transportation for longer journeys. Other Things to NoteNo Smoking Inside!!! Outside is okay. No cable TV, but we have Amazon Prime and Netflix for movies and Hulu for TV shows. The first patio is for use by the guests in the front house. The very back yard area, after the white gate, is use with the guest house but the guests from the main house may walk through that yard to get to the trash cans in the alley. No parties allowed.

Westwood is conveniently located in the middle of most of the important parts of LA, and with a car you're just a short drive from Santa Monica, Venice, Beverly Hills, Culver City and Hollywood. It's also very walkable and you're within walking distance of Westwood Village and everything that comes with it, including restaurants, the Hammer Museum, bars and coffee shops. The comfortable dining and lounge table in the great back yard with basketball hoop offer something for everyone. Within walking distance are about 20 restaurants, a movie theater, two supermarkets, Trader Joes, Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Subway, and a major shopping mall. Renting our home: The rate per night is for a maximum of five guests (including families). No additional guests are permitted. The following sleeping options are offered: one bedroom with queen bed for two, one bedroom with three twin-size sleep positions on two low bunk beds. The bathroom is good size and it has a full shower stall, plus a separate tub with shower sprayer. It is comfortable for our family of four. Prior guest families with two adults and two-to-three kids were very comfortable! There is a TV in the adults' room and a large flat screen TV in the living room with satellite service, DVR, and CD/stereo music. Guests may also relax in the fully enclosed yard (great for kids, with a play set) with al fresco dining at the shaded patio table. Getting AroundThere is convenient public bus service to the beach and Santa Monica, LAX airport, Beverly Hills, downtown LA, etc. The light rail connects with downtown LA, Long Beach, Universal Studios, and museums and the subway system. Other Things to NoteWe have very quiet and caring neighbors. But, some of them do not like vacation rentals in houses. Do not bring attention to yourself with loud activities.
