The SpaceHi there! We've got a shared room a female short term tenant for rent for a week while we wait for the long term tenant to move in! If you need a place to stay in Perth city for a few days with a carpark and don't mind sharing with a super sweet South Korean girl for the week (and of course the other friendly housemates!) we'd love to have you! We're up the street from the CBD with free buses into the city, and walk straight up to Kings Park from our place. Northbridge is only 15~20 minutes walk from the house, and the city strip is nearby. Great location, ensuite bathroom attached to the shared master bedroom (which you'll be staying in), nice people, tidy room and full kitchen, and underground parking if you have a car! -Smoking outside only

You can secure this bay with a payment of $49.00 per week to paid up front at the time of payment for your apartment. Once you have paid this the bay is solely yours for the duration of you stay. It is under cover in a secure locked gate area underneath the building of 45 Malcolm Street. Great for corporate stays ,vacations , hospital and University. We provide you with fresh white towels and linen as well as some tea and coffee supplies. The kitchen is equipped with cutlery, plates, cooking utensils, oven, kettle, toaster, stove and a fridge. There is free wifi internet. Our apartment and complex is safe and secure with a parking bay that may be available on request. Although Malcolm Street is an older style building it is clean and well maintained. Street level from the main door and about 10 stairs up from the car park below within the complex. The apartment is walking distance to the Perth CBD and shopping mall precinct. We are a quick 5 min stroll into the City of Perth. The SpaceThe second top floor studio style apartment is light and bright. The spaces flow together and all converge on the enclosed balcony with the amazing view. The building is a great example of Perth 1960's Modernist architecture. The building has undergone significant renovations and remains a much sought after address. During internal renovations to the apartment, the original glass mosaic floor tiles were uncovered and now remain as a homage to the history. BEDROOM There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom with ensuite bathroom adjacent. The linen is light and colourful to compliment the space and very comfortable with the 500 thread count sheets. A spare blanket is stored in the wardrobe with spare towels for longer stays. A Porta-Cot can be arranged for travel with small children. BATHROOM The bathroom comes off the bedroom and has a shower, toilet and vanity (as you would hope and expect!). I provide shampoo and body wash in the shower, with premium Australian hand soap for the vanity. There is also a hairdryer just in case you get caught short before an event! LIVING ROOM The 3 seat sofa provides an ideal spot to rest and put your feet up after a long day working or seeing the sights. The TV has free to air stations and WIFI internet is available upon request. Airconditioning is great for the hot summer days, or open the windows for excellent cross flow ventilation, something that seems to have been lost in most apartments today! A single fold out bed is available for 1 extra guest. An extra nightly fee is associated with the use of this bed, be sure to ensure any resrevation is for 3 people. DINING ROOM Seating for 4 is provided, though the balcony furniture can up those numbers to 6! The table captures the afternoon sun for those who love the rays whilst reading a newspaper. KITCHEN The kitchen is equipped for a coffee or tea through to a simple meal. Frypans, chopping boards along with plates and cutlery are provided. I always make sure a small carton of milk in the fridge for your arrival, just in case you can't get to the shops until the morning. LAUNDRY There is a coin operated laundry on the ground floor with dryers and clotheslines. I provide washing powder and pegs. There is also a ironing board and iron available in the apartment. Guest AccessFree all day street parking can be arranged easily upon request. The building is secure with access via a remote control. A lift is on site for travel to the apartment, or take the stairs if you are feeling energetic! Interaction with GuestsI work and live nearby the apartment so can assist with any meet and greet for first time travellers to Perth. If this is not necessary, a lock box can be arranged on site for simple 24hr access at a time that suits. The NeighborhoodThe apartment is located in West Perth, ideally located between picturesque Kings Park and the bustling city. Kings Park offers a great aspect to watch the sun set over the city and many bushwalk trails. Jacobs Ladder rises up the Kings Park escarpment and is frequented by the fitness focussed city workers and residents. Getting AroundThe Apartment is located within the FTZ (Free Transit Zone) which allows free travel within the CBD on all busses. CAT (Central Area Transit) buses are also free and can be caught outside the building, though some do not run or are less frequent on weekends. There is a bus available that connects directly to the domestic airport from the apartment. A timetable for Bus 37 is provided for your convenience. Please allow plenty of time if you choose to take the journey to the airport via this bus. The best plan involves a hire car, Taxi or even Uber which should take around 30mins (subject to traffic conditions). Other Things to NoteThe apartment is in an urban part of the city, as a result of this there is inherint audible sounds of a city, these include traffic noise from the street and main freeway at the base of the hill (bottom right of main homepage image) when the wind is blowing in the wrong direction. This did not bother me when I lived in the apartment over several years, though if you come from a quite suburban area, this may be different to what you are used to. This is an everyday result of this great location. Please bear this in mind when deciding on your booking.

Harold Boas Gardens is situated directly opposite the apartment with Kings Park just a short walk up the street. NEAR TO THE APARTMENT (5 to 30 minutes) There is little need for a car as the apartment is adjacent to the local bus stop and the free cat bus service. The main Perth train station is only a short walk to the city and easy to access. The closest train station (5 minute walk) is City West on the Fremantle Train line and it will take you to the port city of Fremantle, Port Beach, Leederville, Subiaco, Claremont, Cottesloe and Perth for connections to other lines. Nearby is Northbridge, Subiaco, Leederville and Mt Lawley. Only recently completed, this lovely 2 bedroom apartment is in the perfect location for Perth CBD, West Perth or Subiaco business, holiday and shopping opportunities. Situated on the top (5th) floor of a quiet building in Hay Street West Perth, right on the edge of Subiaco, you are only a few minutes from the shopping, dining and café strips of Perth City, Subiaco, Leederville and Northbridge. West Perth also has some nice little bars and restaurants within a very short walking distance. It is a relatively quiet street during the day but after 5pm and on weekends it is delightfully peaceful, and only 100m to Kings Park. The location is fantastic. Guest AccessThe apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is parking for one vehicle included. You are also only 100m to the free city transit bus, which is only several stops from the CBD. Interaction with GuestsThe apartment is fully "self catered". Once you arrive and settle in you will not be interrupted by maids or cleaners. This will be your home away from home. If you would like the apartment cleaned and your linen changed during your stay, we are happy to do that for you for a cost of $40 per hour. The NeighborhoodWest Perth is situated between the CBD and vibrant Subiaco. Without fail, the best part about Subiaco and West Perth, is the close proximity to all the services you could want or need. Plus the friendly local community. Getting AroundYou are very close to public transport in Walker Avenue. It is only 100m, just a couple of minutes walk, to the free city transit bus which runs along Kings Park Road, which is then only a couple of stops into the CBD. The Perth-Fremantle buses also run on this route regularly all day, every day, providing transport to beautiful Matilda Bay, the University of Western Australia and Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and the QE II Medical Centre. The CBD is a 20 minute pleasant walk, as is Subiaco. Other Things to NoteCLEANING/LINEN SURCHARGE: There is a standard surcharge of $100 added to every booking to help us cover the high cost of cleaning and linen service in Perth. This may seem steep for a 3 night booking but it is the same charge levied to a 3 month booking. So come and stay with us for 3 months :) WIFI: We do have portable wifi modems (Telstra) available. These cost $20 and will be preloaded with 250MB - you can then log on and recharge them yourself using your credit card if you need more download. Strict 3 night minimum stay required. The apartment has 2 master bedrooms, both with queen beds and their own bathrooms. All linen is supplied and if you would like the apartment serviced during your stay (cleaned and linen changed), there is an additional fee of $100 per service. If it is just a quick tidy up and beds made, it would be $40 per hour. The apartment has a front load washing machine and dryer. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, large dining area and relaxing lounge area leading onto a balcony complete with outdoor dining and bbq – the perfect place to start and finish your day with a lovely view of the gardens and historic buildings of the area. The suburb of West Perth sits between the popular shopping and dining precinct of Subiaco and Perth city and is only a few minutes walk across the Parliament House garden surrounds to beautiful Kings Park. It is also only a short drive (or comfortable walk) to Patterson Stadium (formerly Subiaco Oval) and 5km to delightful Matilda Bay and the University of Western Australia. There is also the train line which runs from Perth to Fremantle, our historic port city half an hour away, and also from Perth up to the hills area of Armadale. There is also a north-south line which can take you north to Joondalup, and slightly further, or south to Mandurah. Obviously trains stop at all stops along the way. Best way to plan these trips is to go online and do a search of the Perth transport system. Taxis are also an option for your travel requirements.     The SpaceProfessional, friendly, quite, non-smoking house - at the West End of the city. An ideal location for visiting Perth. This is a a clean, beautiful, character rich home on the west side of the Perth CBA. Situated on the side of Kings Park hill with an avenue of trees running down to the city, this house/apartment is part of an old mansion which has been renovated into several very large apartments. It has a modern kitchen, bathroom, wooden floors, high ceilings, lead light windows and plenty of natural lighting. A large garden courtyard is at the entrance and the back balcony overlooks another beautiful private garden at the rear. This home is a hidden secret gem within the Perth city central business district. A short walk into the cities supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, bars and of course public transport. The West End of Perth city has the nicest shops and is close to night life being only a short walk to Northbridge. It sits right on the edge of the CBD on a beautiful street leading up to Kings Park which is very popular for exercise enthusiasts. (There are always groups of people running up and down the hill at dawn and dusk). It is also a short walk down to the Swan River foreshore. If you have a car we are located central to everything It is a 20 minute drive to Perth's beautiful beaches or about 7 minutes drive (30 minutes walk) to the University of WA through Kings Park. It's a nice place, sharing with really nice people. We are are looking for equally quite, professional, friendly, clean and tidy people. The room advertised is the Master Bedroom with a queen bed an dlarge open windows which overlook the back garden from the first floor. It would suit a single person or a couple who are travelling. We have a second room which we rent out separately that has a double bed with overhead single bunk. This is definitely a Non-Smoking home. Internet is provided and all costs are included.
