11 Vista Court is a 1st floor apartment just a few steps from the east beach and less than 5 minutes into town. It is well situated to enjoy all Sheringham and North Norfolk have to offer. There is of course the blue flag beach, the steam train, the Little Theatre, and a variety of shops, tea shops and restaurants. We fell in love with Sheringham because it is such a friendly place. It is like stepping back in time with the steam railway and the fact most of our shopping is still done in the little independent stores. We love the beach in the summer and walking the coast path with the waves crashing the shore. Our apartment offers 2 bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed, the second with two 2'6" beds that can be joined to make a kingsize. There is also a travel cot and mattress if needed. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave dishwasher and children's dinnerware and cutlery. There is a laundrette at the end of the road. The lounge has sofas seating 5 and dining to seat 5. We have a 40" flatscreen tv with a smart blueray player. We have a selection of books, toys, games and DVDs. We realise how much there is to pack with children and so we also provide a highchair, microwave steriliser, baby monitor, bed guard, blackout curtains in both rooms and a pushchair if requested in advance. Although wifi is not available, we have good coverage for 3G in the flat and have coverage from a BT wifi hotspot. There are many cafes locally that offer free Wifi. Enjoy the views of the sea, over the town to the golf course beyond, and the sunsets from the sofa or balcony. A welcome pack is provided as well as duvets and pillows. Sheringham Sheringham is the quintessential north Norfolk flinty seaside town; a high-street haven of ice creams and crab sandwiches, postcards and holiday knick-knacks. It is like stepping back in time, you can do all of your shopping in the towns independent green grocer's, bakers, butchers and fish mongers without ever needing the supermarket. Sheringham is perfectly placed with the sea to the north and countryside to the south. Come rain or shine Sheringham has something for everyone. Walkers will love the coastal path, walk up Beeston bump and to Cromer beyond. To the west walk over the golf course and see all the way to Blakeney. Inland there are many walks, towards Sheringham park or Felbrigg hall. Explore the steam railway station, take a visit on the train to Weybourne and Holt and take a look inside Holts exclusive shops. Sheringham today is a small, old-fashioned seaside town, set amongst cliffs and rolling National Trust woodland, excellent walking country. The high street runs down to the sea and has a lovely selection of friendly, independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Attractions include the Blue Flag beach, Poppy Line steam railway, the Little Theatre and a fine coastal golf course, all just an easy stroll away. For centuries a remote fishing station, Sheringham became an Edwardian seaside retreat with the arrival of the railway. The fishermen's quarter, with its flint and pebble cottages, remains at the heat of the town. Sheringham today is a small, old-fashioned seaside town, set among cliffs and rolling woodland, good walking country. The high street runs down to the sea and has a lovely selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Attractions include the Blue Flag award winning beach, the Poppy Line steam railway, Little Theatre, museums, a fine coastal golf course, leisure centre and the Norfolk Coast Path, all within easy walking distance of Magnolia Cottage. There are miles of beach, clifftop and country walks from the front door, including the 18th century landscape of Sheringham Park (National Trust). Excellent transport links include the Coasthopper bus and Bittern Line train to Norwich.
