This bright, spacious home has an open plan kitchen/den/living/dining rooms, perfect for entertaining, with easy access to large decks, garden & patio. There are 2 bedrooms and an art studio upstairs including a spacious master suite with 5 piece en-suite and a second bathroom for others to use. Home includes executive office, games room with twin bed for sleep overs, den and an additional 3rd guest bedroom with its own bathroom, & new landscaping. Full kitchen with new stainless appliances and granite counters, in-house washer and dryer. 4 TV's, i-tv, high-speed internet wireless connection. There is a large patio with a water pond in the back garden. A covered seating area with outdoor sectional and a gas weber barbeque. We have four bicycles. All and all this is a great place to relax and unwind and a great staging area for exploring the city.

We are located in a very pleasant neighbourhood at a very affordable price. Our house is a classic tudor style house so it not modern by any means. We have replaced old appliances with new and older houses are designed to be more spacious than most newer ones. With that being said, please keep in mind that if you are looking for a more high end and luxurious stay this might not be perfect place for you. The SpaceThe suite was built in May 2014, only 550 square feet, south facing overlooking a typical English Garden, with double doors leading onto sandstone patio. Guests have a comfortable living room with a large screen TV and electric fireplace; a kitchenette with fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker and kettle; The small bedroom has a medium hard queen mattress, which is a little higher than normal at 81cm (32"). The en-suite bathroom has large walk-in shower, wash basin, toilet and heated floor. Ceiling clearance throughout is 6 foot 10 inches - so if you are taller beware! Guy is 6 foot 2 inches and its just fine. Guest AccessGuest access is through the patio doors at the front. Off street parking is at the front on the property. The NeighborhoodDundarave is a unique location between the ocean and mountains looking across Stanley Park to Vancouver City. It's an excellent stop if you are on the way to/from Whistler.c. A quiet, safe neighbourhood with a beautiful walk along the seafront to the First Narrows. Dundarave Village, with a pretty beach is a ten minute walk down the hill and has excellent shops, restaurants and perhaps the best coffee and pastries in the Province! Getting AroundThe frequent city bus service to downtown takes 25 minutes or less. The closest bus stop is 3 minutes walk away. The new highway to Whistler (100km) is just 3 minutes drive up the hill behind us. In the other direction from the same access is the freeway to Calgary. The SpaceWelcome to our warm and cozy suite in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Vancouver. This is a beautiful 1026 flat in a 3 story house in our home in West Vancouver. It has a big window with ocean view, one bedroom with queen bed, and a double sofa bed in living room, full bathroom with shower. In the suite itself there is no major cooking facility other than a microwave, electric kettle, and a coffee maker; you have your own fridge and sink, and suite as well as has free internet, cable TV and parking. The house is walking distance to shopping center restaurants and public gym and swimming pool; it is also conveniently located one block from public transportation which takes to downtown or Horseshoe Bay. You can walk to the beach; it is 10 minutes on foot. It is 10-20 minutes away from cypress or grouse mountain ski resort by car. The SpaceFully furnished and renovated ocean view/garden level 2 or 3 bedroom suite in large luxurious home in prestigious West Vancouver. This is a very comfortable and well equipped accomodation. You will feel like you are home the minute you arrive. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, and the third optional bedroom has a King size bed (the beds are comfy). The bathroom has a tub with a shower in it. This suite is located in an area of multi-million dollar homes, and has a stunning ocean, city and Stanley Park view. Bright, spacious, large windows, gas fireplace, modern light oak wide plank hardwood floors throughout , and large contemporary kitchen with brand new stainless steele appliances, new kitchen cabinets, and new quartz countertops. Insuite laundry, large screen plasma tv, dvd player, public transit bus right outside the door. Babbling creek and walking trails right outside your own private entrance and garden. Enjoy bar b quing and dining on your private patio as you watch the cruise ships sail to Alaska. Only a 12 minute drive to downtown, and one hour and 15 minutes to the world class resort of Whistler. Only 15 minutes to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal which takes you to Vancouver Island. If you love ocean views, tall trees, creeks, nature trails, privacy and peaceful surroundings, all in a central location but only minutes away from the rat race of downtown, you will love this location. This is a very prestigious area with multi-million dollar homes. Getting AroundA car is recommended. There is a public transit bus which stops hourly across the street from the home. Other Things to NoteRates listed are for the two bedroom suite. If the additional large bedroom and bathroom is added, the rate increases by $125/night. The additional bedroom contains a king bed, a pullout sofa, a living area with sofas, coffee table and large screen flat tv. The extra bathroom contains a shower. Every thing in the suite is supplied, including, hair dryer, toilet paper, towels, bedding, shampoo and conditioner.

The SpaceWe are close to both the mountains and the ocean, and only 20 minutes to downtown by car or bus. The recreation centre with pool and gym facilities is only a 5 minute walk, and if you enjoy hiking, we are only a 10 minute drive from trails through old-growth forests. Guest AccessThe guest suite has a private entrance, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle (no stove). The guest bedroom is complete with a comfortable queen sized bed, and TV with high definition cablevision and DVD player. The private bathroom has a full-sized tub/shower, toilet & sink. The SpaceBright 1 bedroom garden level suite with many windows. The bedroom has a double wooden sleigh bed with comfortable mattress, a large closet, large 3 drawer dresser and 2 bedside tables each with a reading lamp. It also has a TV with access to our Netflix account. The suite has its own private front door and is situated at the rear of the property. The entryway has a small desk and chair and leads through to a full and well stocked kitchen complete with stove, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and fridge/freezer. It has an eat-in kitchen and has a small round table with 2 chairs. The suite is separated from the main home entirely by a locked door leading into the laundry room. There is a bus stop less than 1 block from the house, which travels to the Park Royal Shopping Mall in 10 minutes and to downtown Vancouver in less than 30 minutes. In the opposite direction, you can get to Horseshoe Bay in less than 25 minutes, where you can catch ferries to the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island. The SpaceLocated in the British properties with a fantastic view of the city and the bay. Steps away from Douglas Woodward park with streams and tall firs. An independent 700 sq feet, 2 bedroom suite at the garden level with a full kitchen and washer/dryer facility. The suite can sleep six; the bedrooms have double beds each and the living room has a sofa bed (double size) three in total. A baby cot is available. Off street parking is available for two cars. You will be minutes away from both downtown and numerous hiking trails of the north shore and a short distance from Golf courses and three skiing facilities on the north shore (Cypress mountain 20 minutes, Grouse Mountain 12 minutes, Seymour Mountain 40 minutes and Whistler is 1 hour 30 minutes away). Sentinel secondary and Chartwell elementary schools are less than a 10 minute stroll from the property. You will have access to a terraced garden, deck and BBQ facility in the backyard/garden. Since we live in the main part of the house we will always be there to see to your needs. The size of the property offers you space while being steps away from the woods. The views of Vancouver are breathtaking. One of the best recreation and aquatic facilities in Vancouver is a short drive away. While there are two bus routes that link the British properties to Park royal mall, village of Ambleside, Dundrave village and beyond, it would be fair to state that the convenience of a car cannot be overlooked. The SpaceThis very cozy space was completely renovated in 2014. Sleeps up to 2 adults (Queen Size Pine Bed) & 2 teenagers (Pull-Out Queen Size Sofa-bed) quite comfortably. Fold-out camping style mattress cushions for up to 2 guests for sleeping on the floor can be supplied upon request. Guest AccessThe cottage is located in the back of our property and can be privately accessed from your parking spot off the lane. There is also a large 350 sq ft cedar deck adjacent to the cottage c/w table and chairs for you to enjoy your morning coffee or tea in full view of our backyard garden. Interaction with GuestsWe'll provide you with a 'cottage orientation' upon arrival as well as recommendations for local restaurants and activities...will also drop by every few days to see how you're doing. The NeighborhoodWest Vancouver's Ambleside area has loads of coffee shops, restaurants & shopping only 3-4 short blocks away. Beaches and Seawall are only 1 block further. The West Vancouver Recreation Centre (fitness area, pool & ice rink) is 6 blocks west while Park Royal Shopping Centre is 8 blocks to the south-east. Getting AroundBus transportation is literally right across the street from the front door of our house. We also have copies of the West Van Blue Bus schedules to help you plan your day trips into Vancouver or around the North Shore. Your parking spot is adjacent to the cottage and provided free of charge. North Shore mountains/hiking trails & Downtown Vancouver/Stanley Park are all just 10-12 minutes away by car! Other Things to Note1) Coffee and tea are included (Keurig 2.0 & electric kettle/teapot). We also supply a small fridge, microwave, induction hot plate, toaster, dishware & cutlery for very basic, self-prepared meals. There is also a hand-held cordless vacuum at the ready for those small spills. 2) An iron & ironing board can be supplied upon request. 3) Washer & Dryer are available in the basement entrance of our house at no charge...just ask Bill or Deborah for access & instructions. 4) A programmable stand-up fan will be supplied during hot weather. 5) The cottage hot water tank is on the small side...please consider using hot water from the electric kettle in the bathroom sink for shaving, etc and save the limited hot water for the shower.
