The Neighborhoodwe are situated in a semi-rural area approx. 2.8 miles from town, in a nice quiet neighbourhood , with a country feel, but can be in town in 15mins by car or bus which runs every 20 mins outside the house. there is also a supermarket, with a pharmacy, and a local shop and restaurants within walking distance.we have some beautiful scenery and views Getting Around If you are driving its a short drive to town and Loch Ness is just a few miles away. we also have a very good bus service which stops just outside the house every 20 mins. Inverness makes a good base for visiting other towns and attraction in the Highland area Other Things to NoteOff the A9 motorway head for Croy and Culloden Battlefield on the B9006 Culloden Rd look out for Simpsons Garden Centre and we are Just through the next set of traffic lights with a green and black B&B sign on the road side

The NeighborhoodVery quiet Getting AroundThe number 5A, 5C, 8 bus gets you a 100 yards or so from the house. If you have a car it can be parked safely on the street or our driveway. If you are coming from the airport, get in touch with your flight details and we can probably pick you up (or drop you off). Other Things to NoteOne cat is friendly the other very shy. Quite a few guests are asking for laundry now and so we offer that now for £5 extra. As mentioned earlier the front of the house and garden have been upgraded since last (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) StreetView (Airbnb recommend not posting a picture of the main house for security reasons). Some guests have wondered if they have the right house.

The village of Inverarnie is 1 1/4 miles and has a shop which sells newspapers,bread,rolls,milk etc. Inverness is only 10 mins away and offers lots of variety of restaurants,live music and theatre. There are 2 golf courses within very easy reach, Loch Ness Golf Club,and Inverness Golf Club, Castle Stuart is less than 20 mins away!!                   The Space'Le Studio' The Apartment Le Studio is a self-contained contemporary basement studio apartment 2 miles from Inverness city centre. It's large open aspect glass roof over the lounge area bathes the apartment in sunlight. It is furnished and finished to a high standard. Sleeping Your sleeping arrangements has the adaptability of having a super king size bed or 2 twin beds and also has an extra under single bed if required. Luxurious percale bedding adds to the comfort of your sleep. Relaxing There is a comfortable sofa with coffee table in the bedroom area for relaxing after a busy day. Lounge Area There is an open plan lounge area with comfortable seating, a 32 in Flat screen television with Sky satellite channels and an Xbox with games. There is a wide range DVD’s, board games and a selection of books for your entertainment. Dining In Le Studio there is a fully equipped kitchen area with dining table and 4 dining chairs enabling you to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or takeaway or just a chat over a glass of wine, in a spacious and comfortable environment. Eating Within the kitchen/dining area there is a fridge, freezer, a tabletop cooker with 2 rings, a microwave, a sandwich maker, an egg boiler, a Nespresso coffee machine and a toaster and kettle. Perfect for preparing a healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner during your stay. (a small welcome pack is supplied on arrival) Outdoor Dining If it's good weather outside there is a quaint garden area with outdoor table and chairs, barbecue and accessories and patio heater. Perfect for coffee in the morning, lunch with a glass of wine in the afternoon or a barbecue in the evening. Entertainment There is a Sony DVD player, projector and projector screen in the bedroom\seating area, which can be used to watch wide screen movies or listen to CD/Radio all in surround sound. (There are a selection of DVD’s and CD’s supplied) There is also a Bluetooth speaker within the studio and Wi-Fi is provided. Facilities Le Studio is equipped with a large shower-room with integral sauna room, and a gym area with electronic treadmill and bicycle. Perfect for winding up at the beginning of the day or winding down at the end of it. There is washer/dryer, airer, iron & ironing board in the studio. Parking Car and Motorcycle parking is available. Summary Le Studio is a self-contained, home from home, luxury apartment where you can come and go as you please whist enjoying the sights of Inverness and the surrounding areas. With facilities such as the integral sauna (with cosy robes) & gym, You can keep fit or unwind and relax during your stay, or maybe a bit of both. We are happy to leave you to enjoy your stay but are on hand if you have any queries or need any information. Being local to Inverness there is not much we can’t answer. The NeighborhoodWe are only 2 miles from the centre of Inverness in a desirable part of the city. There is a local regular bus service nearby. Taxi's are abound and for those who prefer to walk it will take approximately 15-20 mins. We have a Tesco supermarket and a local convenience store in close proximity to 'Le Studio' so great for picking up bits and pieces. Various takeaways are also available for delivery. Getting AroundThere are taxi's at the train station and airport and also car hire at the airport. Other Things to NoteWe have 2 small, quiet dogs but they are in a completely separate part of the property.

                  The SpaceThe well equipped kitchen provides a dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge and freezer, electric ceramic hob, electrc over and microwave. The living area comes provides a TV with Sky TV and DVD. WiFi is available throughout the studio. The separate bathroom offers a bath and power shower and underfloor heating. The upstairs area has Velux blackout blinds for the long, light summer nights. The serviced property is available for two or more night stays with breakfast items included including coffee, tea, cereal, porridge and milk. An ironing board, iron and hairdryer are also provided. Guest AccessThere is a shared courtyard with our other two cottages and owners house but also 18 acres to wander in and take advantage of. We have Highland cows and hens which provide free range eggs for our guests and our home baking. Interaction with GuestsThe owners live on site and will be available if you require or will respect guests space if not. The NeighborhoodGask House and its holiday cottages is an impressive barn conversion with three, semi detached cottages set around a pretty courtyard garden. The farm is home to Highland cows, sheep, hens and ducks. Within the grounds is the Gask Cairn and impressive standing stone which is 4000 years old. The holiday cottages are all named after similar Clava type cairns of which Gask is one. There are beautiful views over Highland scenery and mountains beyond. Getting AroundA car is recommended as it is about 15mins drive into Inverness. There is a bus service into and back from the city twice a day.

The farm is home to Highland cows, sheep, hens and ducks. Within the grounds is the Gask Cairn and impressive standing stone. The holiday cottages are all named after similar Clava type cairns of which Gask is one. All the properties offer linen, towels, electric ceramic hob, electric over, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge and freezer, TV with Freesat, DVD, free WiFi, iPod docking station/radio, hairdryer, clothes dryer. Highchair and cot available on request. Outside each property is a dedicated terrace area with seating. On arrival you will find coffee, tea, porridge, milk and half a dozen eggs from our own hens to help you settle in. Clava and Corrimony are on a single level from the car park area and therefore are more suitable for any less mobile visitors. Pets are welcome in both these holiday cottages at a small additional charge. Guest Access18 acres of land and a chance to take some photos with our lovely Highland cows! Clava Cottage is a beautiful property that consists of 1 bedroom which can sleep 2 people, there is also a sofa bed in the living area which can be used to sleep an additional guest. The bedroom is a bright & modern room with quality furnishings, a super king bed which can also be prepared as a twin room if requested & high ceilings, giving this property a warm & welcoming feel. This property benefits from a stylish shower room which is easily accessible for less mobile guests. The striking open plan living/kitchen & dining area is a superb room which is warm & welcoming & comes complete with a log burning stove, sofa bed, TV with FreeSat, Wi-Fi & iPod dock/radio.
