Our Home Our home has 3 separate lounge areas and a large sunny outdoor area with deck, BBQ and tropical gardens to relax in. An absolute haven in the middle of the city! Location An excellent location with gourmet cafes, delis, take-aways, shops etc. just opposite the house.. A nearby bus stop that includes the City Link loop service plus frequent direct to city - 10 min. Great walks, parks, beach (300 metres down road), Ponsonby, Grey Lynn and Herne Bay shops and bars walking distance or 1 stop on bus. The harbour bridge and motorways are also very close. The fabulous Auckland Zoo and Western Springs park is also an easy walk and worth a visit. The Space The Apartment The apartment is a modern loft style studio above our garage and separated from our house. A high curved ceiling and tall north facing windows provide a spacious sunny environment. The bed is queen size with high quality linen. The sitting area contains a 46" High definition LCD TV and a couch which folds out to a comfortable futon slat bed. The kitchen is equipped with sink, fridge, 2 element cook top, microwave, and expandable dining table. There is a unique self contained wetroom ensuite with Egyptian Cotton towels provided. Outside is nicely landscaped with a big goldfish pond, a paved area, and plenty of shade provided by a feijoa and grapefruit tree, and an ancient plum tree. A DIY continental breakfast with home baked bread is included, and feel free to use the BBQ. WiFi is also available. Location The studio apartment is situated in sought after Pt Chevalier. We are located just 10 minutes by car to the City Centre and close to motorway links to the North Shore, West Coast beaches and vineyards, and all points south. It is also easy access to the airport motorway. The nearest bus stop is located just 100m away. The bus into the city centre runs every 15 minutes and the journey is 15 to 20 minutes. There is a dairy (7/11 store) and a fast food outlet conveniently located across the road. There are also several food outlets in the area including a nice Italian Restaurant just a 3 minute walk away. There are also 2 cafes within a 5 minute walk and its a 10 minute walk to Pt Chevalier shops where there are more cafes and restaurants, 2 pubs, a supermarket, pharmacy, post office and library. Mt Albert's 'little asia' is also a great place for budget eateries and its just a 5 min drive away. Unfortunately there is no disabled access and the room is not suitable for young children. We provide transport to and from the Airport for a small charge. ($25NZ per trip) Please note that we do NOT charge cleaning fees. Our advertised price is all you pay to us, however Airbnb will add their booking fee.

Outside is nicely landscaped with tropical planting, a big goldfish pond, a paved area, and plenty of shade provided by a feijoa tree, a grapefruit tree, and an ancient plum tree. Free to use the BBQ. The studio is above our garage and completely separate from the house, so you can be as independent as you like, or you can pester us for as much help and information as you need. A DIY continental breakfast consisting of cereals, bread, fresh milk, butter and jams, tea and coffee, is included. A fast food outlet and a dairy (7-11 type store) is just across the road. The local shopping centre with supermarket, bank, post office, library, Service Stations, McDonalds and KFC is less than 1km away. If shopping’s your thing, St Lukes Shopping Mall with Multiplex cinema is a short 4km drive. A 5 min drive will find you in Mt Albert’s ‘little Asia’ for great value food. Along the way you’ll pass Unitec, University of Technology. Local attractions include Chamberlain Park Public golf course, Western Springs - Auckland's loveliest park, The Zoo, Motat - Museum of Transport and Technology, Pt Chevalier beach and coast walk, and the North West Cycleway. Wind surfing and kite boarding venue, cycle hire and bike shop close by. Economical transport to and from the airport can be arranged.

We've just redecorated so the room is freshly painted and looking better than ever. Ultra Fast Broadband WIFI is on tap. You'll wake up with the sun streaming in and be able to take breakfast on the balcony or open the door, have coffee in bed and enjoy the view. At night you might hear our local Morepork (native NZ owl). It is literally a 3 minute walk to the supermarket, 2 minutes to beautiful Cox's bay Park. Your choice of two bus routes into the city also just minutes away. Your room houses a piano for the musically inclined and push bikes can be made available by special arrangement. You're welcome to use our roomy study for any work or extra luggage space. Bring your laptop and plug into the full-sized monitor. This quiet street is the perfect refuge from the city but stepping out for a meal or drink could not be easier. There's an organic whole foods store and a large deli around the corner, cafes and bars abound. You'll be bedding down in one of Auckland's most desirable neighborhoods with all the conveniences - gas cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, PVR/DVD sound system, Netflix etc. on the Apple TV, and of course WIFI. Just so you know. The NeighborhoodYou're wonderfully located minutes by car from the central city and just a 5 minute walk to the sea. Cox's Bay Park is on your doorstep and it's a 5 minute walk to West Lynn with its hip cafes, bars and restaurants. Just a bit further up the road is the new Ponsonby Central Market and everything Ponsonby Road has to offer. You're also a short walk from Herne Bay, where the average house costs more than $2 million but the beaches are free! Getting AroundTwo bus stops are close to the apartment and each will take you straight to the central city. It is a 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop.

The SpaceMy home is a funky 2-storey house always flooded with light. Downstairs is very open plan-living, upstairs are two separate bedrooms including the private guest room. The charming guest room with direct access to the upper deck is approx. 12 sqm with a queen sized bed. The main bathroom is on the lower level and shared with the host. On the same level as the guest room is a second little bathroom. Guest AccessYou will have access to the house via the main entrance. Wireless internet is available. Interaction with GuestsI will be around and am happy to give you tips on things to see and do in Auckland, and will help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I do enjoy meeting people and look forward to welcoming you in the Land of the long white cloud. The NeighborhoodThe house is in a very popular, quiet and good area in Auckland, walking distance to vibrant Ponsonby with lots of restaurants and bars and the lovely Westlynn bar and shopping area is just up the road. Within 2 minutes walk you are by the sea in Coxs Bay reserve..you can keep walking through Herne Bay and under the Harbour bridge right to Wynard Quarter in the city...that is a lovely walk, takes you about 45 minutes and gives you a great insight into some of Auckland's nicest suburbs... Getting AroundMy location is greatly connected to public transport. You either walk everywhere or catch the bus up the road (3 minutes from my house) which gets you right to Britomart in the City Centre or wherever you'd like to get to in the city... Other Things to NoteJust in case you are a dog-person only or have some allergy...there are two gorgeous cats in the house...

The SpaceTravel down a tree-lined street in the trendy, inner-city suburb of Westmere, and you'll find Residence 26, a two bedroom apartment built into our recently renovated 1930's bungalow. This sunny, private apartment is fully furnished to a high standard with quality fixtures and features an open plan kitchen/living area with sliding doors opening directly onto your own furnished outdoor patio. The lounge has a 3D Television, Cable TV, Playstation, iPod dock for music and plenty of games, movies and books to choose from. The designer kitchen has a fridge/freezer, double wall oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and serving/cooking utensils. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a king bed which can be split into two singles. Both have built-in wardrobes and feature gorgeous high thread count linen. The bathroom has cotton towels, stone tiled floor, heated towel rails and a rain showerhead. Just a short stroll to local shops and cafes. Close to supermarkets, restaurants and shopping. Two different bus routes offer plenty of public transport options. Only 5km / 10 minute drive to the inner city. Coffee, tea and milk are supplied. The SpaceHi there The rooms for let are in a very desirable area close to all amenities. Great cafes, sea, transport and a five minute ride to the city The bedroom is large and comfortable with built in wardrobe, stain glass window and table. There is one bathroom but there is only myself and Pablo the cat so it's easy. The second room is smaller very sunny and has two chest of drawers etc. I can help you with local information as I have hosted many travellers and students over the years.This is a very up market area full of nice architecture and full of trees. Its quiet and there are parks everywhere. I'm a cruisy sort of person who loves travelling and really enjoys like-minded people. The bus is 100 metres up the road with great cafes and organic butcher the same distance. The double room is 85 a night but the single room is 65 per night. So you can have your pick. One person in single room two in double room. Chow The NeighborhoodThis is a great area, close to the beach and all amenities. I There are great cafes 100 metres up the road. Westmere is safe, full of historic houses and has a lovely atmosphere.

The SpaceThe room is for a single person in very warm & comfortable house. The room has own en suite. I am the only other person in the house in the only other room. There is another bathroom I can use. There is off-street parking for up to 2 cars with plenty of on-street parking. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood. You are welcome to use the kitchen, the washing machine, the internet. My house is 10 minutes drive to CBD, on 2 bus routes, 1 block away from the sea, very close to cafes, bakery, fruit shop, organic butchers, wine shop, takeaway s & dairies, plenty of surrounding parks including native bush, costal areas & sports grounds within 10 minutes walk. I was born & bred in Auckland so know the city very well. I can point out some of the most unique features of the city and the country. I have been told I am a great host with excellent knowledge & personal involvement in local theatre & film scene. I am of Maori & Pacific Island descent so alot of knowledge of indigenous & polynesian culture etc. Drinkers & smokers welcome. But like me, you will have to smoke outside. You must be a dog lover as I have a 7 year old dog with selective hearing i.e. listens when he wants to. Please feel free to ask questions.

The SpaceA very cool, upmarket and central Auckland location. The house is north facing so attracts all the sun; a functional family home that is only 12 years old. At 200m2 it is larger then most in the area. Well appointed with two separate living areas as well as an open plan kitchen/dining. This terraces down to a lounge that has 2 large french doors that completely open two sides of the lounge onto a paved and grassed area with an 8 seater outdoor table, chairs and BBQ. The garden is private, sunny and green. The master bedroom is like a suite in the trees. It has windows opening out on 3 sides that look out into mature trees. The entire second floor is the large bedroom, ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe. The ensuite features a single spa bath and shower. The downstairs kids' lounge has a TV, DVD and Freeview. The open plan kitchen adjoins the main lounge with its extensive french doors so offers outside access as well as a wood burner, heat/air conditioning pump and good quality stereo. The kitchen is very well appointed with a good sized fridge and dishwasher, filtered water faucet, gas stove and microwave. Tasteful, functional and comfortable. Guest AccessFree wifi. The SpaceThis is a comfortable home in Westmere with all amenities 5 minutes by bus from the city - close to beach, bus stops, and parks. This will come fully furnished including towels and sheets. There are two double beds and a king single available. Car parking and 100 metres walk to the best cafes in the area and award winning butcher. An ideal location to see Auckland or make it your base. Guest AccessYou have a deck at the back and it sunny. You will share a driveway but still have your own park. It is a very safe area so if you have two cars it is fine to park out the front. There is a little flat at the back of my property (completely separate). There is no cat here anymore...I dont know why but I cannot edit this out of my listing details. Electric kettle and toaster included. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and large basin /vanity. Guests will also have access to a laundry shared with the family who live upstairs), including washing machine and dryer. A wardrobe for hanging clothes is provided (partitioned off from family storage area). A modern smart TV is provided including a DVD player and free wireless internet is also provided. Interaction with GuestsAs the apartment is on the lower level of the family home, we like to meet our guests on arrival, or will arrange a meeting as soon as possible after arrival depending on our commitments. Following that, you can come and go as you please, and do not need to inform us of your movements other than confirming your departure details. Naturally our paths may cross, and many of our guests have enjoyed our hospitality over a shared glass of fine NZ wine! The NeighborhoodHerne Bay (or Ponsonby as the official NZ Post address defines us) is one of Auckland's finest suburbs with cafes, restaurants, bars on our doorstep, a short walk away. 'Ponsonby Rd' with more dining and nightlife, and some of the best designer / boutique fashion stores in Auckland is just a short bus ride, or 20 minute walk away. And the CBD is a 15 minute bus ride away. Our property is nestled in a quiet street, surrounded by quiet neighbours - plus a taste of the country... there's a small organic farm just at the end of our street which is bordered by a lovely walkway and park. Getting AroundThere's a bus stop just up the road (3 minute walk away) which has a regular service to all the key areas of the city. Auckland taxi services are prompt and reliable. Parking is on the street outside the property (very common in this area), but it is very quiet and safe to park here. From the airport you can taxi or shuttle (cheaper) directly to the property, or catch an airport bus to the CBD, then bus or taxi to Herne Bay. Other Things to NoteOur intention with letting this property is to provide a holiday haven for international guests who are looking for a more relaxed, affordable alternative to hotels and motels. We also welcome NZ & International guests who may be visiting Auckland for work and who require short term and or repeat accommodation more like a 'home away from home'. We are conveniently located very close to public transport - nearest bus stop 200 metres (goes to Britomart/city in 20 min) and also the citylink is a 10 minute walk (bus every 15 minutes). Coyle park is also just a 10 minute walk away. It is a gorgeous peninsula with great views across the harbour to the harbour bridge. Plenty of grassy areas along with a great playground for children (playground, flying fox etc). Local information on site. An inner city sub-urban gem! Getting AroundThere is a bus stop about 200 metres from our house with several routes, including into the city. The outer city link bus stop is about a 10 minute walk. The link comes every 15 minutes in both directions - timetable and map at the house. Uber taxis offer a good service, a well as regular taxis. Off street parking is available if you chose rent/own a car. Check out 11 am, check in 2 pm (please ask if we can accommodate late/early check in/out)

The SpaceThe house has two living rooms (one with cosy wood burner), four bedrooms (three with built-in wardrobes, drawers and desks, master with walk-in wardrobe), two bathrooms, separate laundry, spacious and well-designed kitchen and dining room. The house comfortably fits a family of five - two adults and three children in four rooms. It is full of designer furniture and fittings, is very warm with double glazing and full insulation and has superb kitchen and bathrooms. Outside is a glass fenced large heated swimming pool, grassed lawn, large deck, trampoline, sandpit, climbing wall and tree-hut. It is perfectly set up for entertaining and children. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire house, copious storage and the garden. The NeighborhoodThe house is 10 minutes walk to bars and cafes of either Westmere, West Lynn and Herne Bay. It is a 2 minute drive to Ponsonby for amazing shopping and more restaurants and bars. The local park has a fitness trail, huge rugby and cricket fields, tennis courts and a children's playground. Getting Aroundthe house is on both the Westmere and Outer Link bus systems to take you to the city, Ponsonby, Grey Lynn, etc. This is a 10-15 minute daily service. An offstreet carpark is included in the rental.

The SpaceThe studio apartment is a great size and is self-contained on the ground floor with its own private entrance and exclusive use en suite bathroom. There is a new good quality queen size bed, as well as a 60s-style sofa which can be used as a sofa-bed (if required) and a new flat screen TV with Sky/ cable channels( including Sports) for those lazy days or nights where you may just want to do nothing much at all :) The setting is peaceful and private with own access and own outdoor area where you can relax, read and chill. In the studio there is a new fridge, plates, cutlery, toaster, coffee and tea. I can also provide snacks to ensure you are not hungry should you arrive late at night or early in the morning. Cooking: A microwave is provided, as well as a good size gas BBQ for your use. This is located in the private outdoor area which is undercover. For longer stays additional cooking facilities can be provided but must be used outdoors. We are very lucky to be just a stroll from some of Auckland's best restaurants, bars and cafes. Getting AroundOur setting is tranquil but has public transport just a couple of minutes walk away. The orange Outer Link bus (a 2 minute walk from mine) takes around 10 minutes into the city and stops at attractions such as our fantastic Auckland Art Gallery, MOTAT, University and the Museum. If you are arriving from the airport there are buses, private shuttle buses and taxis available. Other Things to NoteI have a much loved rescue cat called "Bentley" who won't bother you and I am an animal lover so you can ask if you are travelling with a pet if it is ok to stay here. The bathroom is furnished with cotton and linen towels, but I am also very happy to provide beach towels or umbrellas and other items that you probably don't want to have to travel with but which would be useful for you if required .

The SpaceBeautiful large north facing home with pool. Great location for family - walking distance to Cox's bay park, close to zoo, sky tower, Ponsonby Road's shops and cafes and all other central Auckland amenities Our home is very light, sunny and private. It has a modern kitchen, dining area and two living areas - plenty of room to chill out! It has amazing indoor/outdoor flow with large sliding doors to the pool and barbecue area. In winter the house is very warm with underfloor heating and a gas fire place. It has four double bedrooms. Upstairs there is the master bedroom with a super King bed and ensuite bathroom, another bathroom (with bath) and two double sized bedrooms with a king single bed (and pop up single bed if needed) in each. Downstairs there is another modern bathroom, a bedroom with a double bed and a separate laundry (washer and dryer). We have two living areas, a dining room and large kitchen. There's also a separate laundry (washer and dryer). The office space and garage will be locked however there is off street parking for 2 vehicles. We will endeavor to meet you if we are in Auckland but otherwise will be available via phone and or email. I will also leave a list of recommended restaurants and contact numbers for e.g taxis Grey Lynn/Westmere is a historic neighborhood with lots of character buildings with a number of shops, boutiques, cafes and bars only a minute's walk away .     This is my private home in Coxes Bay central Auckland city. Offering Bed and Breakfast ( B&B;) It is very open plan living with a guest wing on the main living floor with a Queen bed and very tidy room for the guests with its own bathroom with Toilet and Shower, there is a sliding door from these rooms the the main living area. The location is wonderful for public transport and the end of the street or 50 meters from the door. There is a second small single bedroom that could be used as well next to the main B& B room suitable for a single extra 25 pound per night..There is a cold plunge pool, and huge outside deck for relaxing on. There is off street parking should that be required. This is suitable for a couple.The owner has a home office in the house and with the easterly aspect it is a great home to keep warm and enjoy the morning sunshine.Wifi is included as is breakfast and meals can be by arrangement. Morning or afternoon walks in Coxes Bay park just across the road. Just across the main road in a side street from Coxes bay, the Westend tennis club is on the corner. Bus stops on main road 100 meters from house.
