The SpaceThis is a charming rice barn conversion with modern amenities. 1 small bedroom upstairs with a balcony that boasts views of the mountains. Facing west for beautiful sunsets and huge skies. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and small living area. There is an extended living area/veranda outside, still sheltered by the extended roof, where you can enjoy breakfast and generally chill out. The walls downstairs are made from mud, which maintains a comfortable temperature all year round. There is one other house on the land, where the owners or other guests sometimes stay, but plenty of distance in-between. Guest AccessThe entire house is yours to enjoy. Getting AroundThere isn't much public transport in Pai. A few taxis and motorbike taxis operate but it's best to rent a bike or truck and explore at your leisure. The SpaceBedroom has big windows on surrounding mountains and all opening have mosquito nets. 1 double bed, extra mattresses available. Bathroom has western toilet and hot shower. Kitchen is equipped with fridge, gas stove and gas oven, rice cooker, blender, shake fruit mixer Wooden terrace with stunning view. Organic garden on your doorstep. River for swimming is only 300m away. Guest AccessWe are renting the top floor of the house only: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and terrace. Good internet connection. Guests are welcome to pick organic vegetables from our permaculture garden right in front of the house. We also have a great library with french and english books. Interaction with GuestsI will be staying downstairs for a few days every now and then, but mostly staying in Chiang Mai for studies. As I am a cook, i will happily cook bread and other foods while I'm here! The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is very peaceful: no roads nearby, so no car noise and no pollution. It's mainly surrounded by farmland, rice paddies, and mountains. Very convenient for wandering around in the countryside or going for a swim in the nearby river. Vieng Nua village has convenient stores and market and is only 1km away. It also has laundry service and everything one needs. Pai is 4,5km away. Getting AroundYou can come by taxi from town (2 dollars), if you dont have your own transport. We can rent you a bicycle if you need, which is the most convenient way of moving around. Motorbikes are for rent at cheap prices in town. If you have your motorbike/car, you can easily park it by the house.

Getting Around1. To Pai: Local buses leave from Arcade bus station in Chiangmai or from Mae Hong Son and take about 3-4 hours from either direction 2. When you arrived Pai: A good way to get here is to rent a bike. On highway 1095 to Pai airport you will see the sign of our Gueshouse turn right near the run way continue 1.5km to Baan Mae Khong T-JUNCTION, go left 300M. uphill and Amy's place will be on your right hand side Other Things to NoteSometimes I'm not home I have a nice girl her name is Khing is waiting for you and she can be your good host while I'm not there too. The SpaceThis little shack is parked behind our house that has some of the best views of Pai valley. It's ideal for a couple or single. The bed is king size, there is air-conditioning and the bathroom has all modern fittings. The room has a kettle and we will supply tea & coffee. Guest AccessSelf contained with your own access. Interaction with GuestsYou are welcome to fish at our pond or chill out at the deck area at our house. The NeighborhoodPai is a funky little town with many small shops, art galleries, cafe's & restaurants. The best time to visit is between October and February when the weather is cooling and all the flowers are in full bloom. Getting AroundYou will need your own transport if you want to explore Pai and to go to the Dog house. The Dog house is about 3kms away (approximately 10minutes drive) from town and we have plenty of parking if you bring your own vehicle. Alternatively we can arrange to rent a bicycle or motorcycle for you. There are also a few independent taxi and car rental companies in Pai. Other Things to Note You are welcome to fishing at the pond or chill at our house deck.

If you are interested in any activities such as massage, acupuncture, private yoga class, cooking class, meditation class, we can arrange them for you. The NeighborhoodOur home located at the end of a peaceful Chan village. The villagers are all farmers. They are friendly and happy. The rice field just down from the house is a wonderful walk to explore nature, watch birds, spot some cool insects, enjoy being in nature, etc. You will experience silence, reconnection with mother nature and a peaceful simple lifestyle. We are 2 minutes walk from "Phu pai resort" where you can get drinks. Getting AroundWe are 5 k.m. away from Pai town. You will need to have a transportation as there is no public transport in the area. Also restaurant and sight seeing are scattered all around and outside of Pai town. In town, there are many companies that offer motorbike and car rental. If you are here in the busy season (Nov-Feb) the rental will need to be arrange before your arrival. We can assist you on that if you let us know beforehand. Other Things to NoteDuring the peak season (nov-feb) Pai town can be over crowded. Reservation need to be made beforehand. We can meet you/pick you up from town if you request in advance. The NeighborhoodYou are far enough out of town to enjoy the peaceful rice fields that surround you here, and yet you are close enough to get to all the amenities and entertainment that Pai offers. Only a 15 minute motorbike ride will get you to town. Just down the road is Isara Garden Cafe that serves drinks and food along with chilled music. If you take the road into the mountains you will reach one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the region. Its a 2 hour walk so you'll need to pack a lunch. Getting AroundYou'll need to hire a motorbike/scooter or a car to get to and from town. A bicycle ride is possible if you like a little workout. You can hire both motor scooters and bicycles from us.
