The SpaceThe home has beautiful tongue and grove pine ceilings, large cedar beams and vigas run throughout the ceiling. It I tastefully decorated and comfortable. The home has a gas fireplace in the LR & MBR. There are electric baseboard heaters & ceiling heat lamps in the baths. There is both a charcoal and propane grill on the property as well as patio furniture. Guest must provide their own charcoal starter. Guest AccessThere is a security code which will be provided immediately prior to your arrival. Guest enter via the mud room vs the sliding glass door. There are flood and solar lights at each entry. Interaction with GuestsI am always available, 24 hours a day. I have an on-call handyman and housekeeper. I will provide information on things to do in the area and information on the construction of this unique adobe home. The NeighborhoodMost homes in the area are situated on 5 to 10 acres. Therefore, the property is private and safe. The closest neighbor is directly across the street. Getting AroundYou are located approximate 15 to 20 minutes from the city of Willcox. You will want to pick up food and housekeeping items on your way in to avoid a trip back to town on the first night. Directions will be provided prior to your arrival. Other Things to NoteLike all rural areas of Arizona, you will see a middle income and low income properties. The property is located 4 miles off a main road. You will travel 2 miles on a paved road and 1 mile on a gravel road to arrive at the house. If it has rained or snow, the last mile will be muddy. WIFI is not provided but a WIFI extender is located on the MBR desk. Some guests use their phone or tablet "hotspot" or go to the local library for internet service. Most use the time to get away from the internet.

The SpaceThe home has been recently updated with new paint, carpet, furniture and more. The living room has two couches that each have an electric recliner on each end of the couch. There is a large screen TV with a Blue Ray DVD player. WIFI is also available. The kitchen has a microwave oven, range, side by side refrigerator/freezer, toaster and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils, knives, pots and pans, and dinner ware for eight. There is also a washer and dryer in the home. There is a two car garage you can park in and you have access to the entire house. There is a bed tax for each stay less than 30 days and a $100 cleaning fee for each stay. Guest AccessThis is a single family detached home so you will have access to the entire house and yard. The home has a large fenced in back yard with a patio. Interaction with GuestsWe will have very little to no interaction with the guests unless you have questions for us or would like to learn a little more about the area. We are glad to help however we can but don't want to interrupt your stay either. The NeighborhoodQuiet residential subdivision. Located two hours NE of Tucson, two hours West of Silver City, NM and three hours SE of Phoenix. High desert area with an elevation of 2,900 feet. Warm winter days and cool summer nights. Population of the area is about 25,000. If you are looking for quiet nights with one of beautiful stars, this is the place. The world's largest binocular telescope is located at the top of nearby Mt. Graham. The top of the mountain is about 45 miles away but because of the windy roads will take 1 - 1 1/2 hours. There are lots if hiking trails on the mountain. The Gila Box is about 20 - 30 minutes away. Also about 45 - 90 minutes from Chiricahua National Monument, Fort Bowie and Arivipa Canyon wilderness area. The home is about two miles from Eastern Arizona College and the major shopping hub for the valley. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation. There is an inter-city bike/running trail about 1 mile south of the property. Other Things to NoteThe home is about 1,600 square feet.

The home was recently updated with new carpet, paint, tile, window blinds, furniture and more! The master bedroom has a king size bed with a master bathroom accessed from the bedroom. Bedroom # 1 has a queen sized bed. Bedroom # 2 has two twin beds. A portable crib is available. We have two sleeping pads and bedding to accommodate up to eight. Let us know if you will need to sleep more than six. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave oven, range, toaster, refrigerator/freezer and is furnished with dishes, cookware, cutlery and utensils. The living room has a large flat screen TV with a Blue Ray DVD player. Wifi and cable are provided. The living room also has two leather couches that have electric recliners on each end of the couch. The laundry room has a washer and dryer with an iron and ironing board. The home has a two car garage and a fenced back yard with a covered patio. The home is centrally located in the Gila Valley in a quiet neighborhood.

PROPERTY & AREA INFORMATION Experience 360 degrees of incredible mountain views in this authentic adobe home on 10 acres of natural high desert. Unbelievable peace, quiet and tranquility await. In early evening, you will hear the yap of the coyote. In early morning, you will see Jack Rabbits and Cottontail hop across the front yard. Road Runners, Hawks and even White Owls cam be observed on or near the property. If you look closely under the Mesquite, you will see the elusive and, in some areas, endangered Horned Toad. In this big sky country, you are guaranteed to see falling stars and, on some evenings, the Mikey Way. There are stunning desert sunsets and sun rises in red, blues and pinks, blues and grays. In the morning, you can observe the moon dip behind the mountains. You can visit the breathtaking Chiricahua National Monument, Kartchner Caverns, the wild west re-creations in famed Tombstone, Old Bisbee - the artist haven and old copper mining town, Cochise Stronghold of famed Apache Chief Cochise , Amerind Museum, Bowie National Historic Site, Ft Graham Observatory and more.
