The SpaceThere are two bedrooms in the barn/guest house. You can choose which bedroom you prefer! Double bed, chairs, bathrooms featuring antique Clawfoot tubs, huge windows overlooking farmland and passing roadways. Situated behind the Hardison's 100 year old farmhouse. Lots of country space! We look forward to meeting you; and yet, we plan to give you plenty of privacy during your stay. The NeighborhoodThe barn offers views of the farmland and rural roadways. Within one mile, the Roanoke River and creeks flow. The Albemarle Sound is 45 minutes east. The Atlantic Ocean and beautiful pristine Outer Banks are one hour and 15 minutes East. The drive is simple and beautiful ... passing through historic towns, and eastern North Carolina's vast farmland. Getting AroundThe "barn" is located in a rural setting - local seafood restaurants (one mile away) are seasonal. Some local eateries are within a mile and open year round. Ten miles in either direction you will easily find numerous well-known restaurants serving delicious Southern entrees with full wait staff for all meals! Martin County is known, among other wonderful things, for its delicious foods and restaurants.
There is plenty of parking on the premises. Other Things to NoteThe barn is built of Atlantic White Cedar, both exterior and interior walls. It is a "non-smoking" venue inside of the structure.
