Quiet peaceful getaway yet close to all the action! Only 1 hr train ride to the heart of NYC. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet walking distance to shops and restaurants. 10-15 min. from beaches; berry picking, music concerts/symphonies; art galleries; bustling SONO nightlife; excellent spa treatments; the Children's Museum; Maritime Aquarium; Stew Leonards Market which has the largest dairy store in the world! Endless activities year round for the whole family to enjoy! Summer is the best time Open and light living room/dining room features reclaimed wood floors and custom table makes for easy entertainment. Kitchen overlooks the yard. The kids will love the full wall blackboard, bunk beds and the playground in the yard! Bring your yoga mat because there is a private yoga/meditation studio to which you will have part-time access!!! The 190 sq ft private yoga studio with separate entrance and private bathroom is attached to the house. It is newly renovated with cathedral ceilings and large windows with garden view. Renters will have access to this studio space when it is not being used by other yoga teachers/therapists. After yoga, enjoy a nice shower in the built-in steam shower! Harvest ripe fruit and vegetables (seasonal). We will vacate the house while renter is there, however, we will be readily accessible via phone or email if any questions arise. Guest AccessWalking distance Walmart, restaurants and other shops within walking distance. 10 min. drive to train station directly to NYC, Boston or other cities. The NeighborhoodThe village of Silvermine, which is a unique area in Wilton, offers New England charm combined with the very best restaurants and bistros to suit all tastes. The Silvermine Guild of Artists and the Silvermine market, where residents go to enjoy a morning coffee and newspaper, is a short walk away. The 2 mile walk around the Silvermine River(right across from my driveway) is very enjoyable, passing ducks, geese, swans and many different styles of antique houses. It is a favorite path for bikers and joggers as well. The town is committed to preserving open space..we have 27 trail systems that range from an easy stroll to a challenging hike. There are concerts all year round. Close proximity to all highways and NYC transport. Getting AroundA car, rented at the airport or locally, is necessary. Taxi service and Uber is also available. For those who like to pedal, bring your bikes, or borrow mine. Other Things to NoteTen minutes to Metro North Railroad to NYC. 55 minute express trains. Great shopping and bistros in Wilton Center and surrounding towns of Westport, Ridgefield and New Canaan. Beaches on Long Island Sound; sailboat and kayak rental.     The SpaceThis two acre property is located on a quiet cul-de-sac street in the Silvermine section of Wilton. The large bedroom, which features a queen size bed, is located above the garage and is largely separated from the rest of the house, assuring complete privacy. The guest controls the heating and cooling of the room, and the bathroom has heated floor tiles. The large suite has both a desk and a leather sofa for the business or leisure traveler. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the kitchen and living areas. They will also have access to free WiFi, off-street parking, and our two acre property which includes a screened-in porch, a deck, a patio, and a tire swing. Interaction with GuestsAs often as desired. The room allows for the guest to come and go as they please, however, I am a 26 year resident of Wilton and can offer insights of the town and surrounding areas. The NeighborhoodThe 5000 sq ft property is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Wilton. Getting AroundUnfortunately, the only way to get around in our area is by using car. We do offer off-street parking and the train to the NYC is a short ten minute drive away.

      This 2800sq.ft. Home is located on a beautiful manicured lot with direct access to the lake from its own private dock. The home offers three bedrooms all with private bathrooms. The walkout basement has just been finished and offers a large sitting room with fireplace, queen size Murphy bed and a full bathroom. There is also a large games room with fooseball and air hockey tables. The main level also offers a cozy sitting room with fireplace and large dining table.The deck has been extended to accommodate a seven seater hot tub with stereo sound. The paved patio comes complete with a large fire pit. Come and relax in this little piece of heaven. Close to skiing, NASCAR racing, outlet shopping, whitewater rafting, hiking and all the outdoor pursuits you could wish for. We are a short walk from all the amenities our community offers, beach with lifeguard, tennis, basketball and volley ball courts, children's park etc. You must be 25 or older torent my home. Additional fees: $50 linen fee, includes all towels and linens, wash cloths and beach towels are not provided. Cleaning fee $150.00 Community fee varies with length of stay. 1-3 nights $25.00 4-7 nights $50.00 more than 7 nights $100.00. SECURITY DEPOSIT $400 TO $1000 DEPENDS ON LENGTH OF STAY This fee will be included in the quote given at time of inquiry If there are more than 5 cars at one time there will be a $10 charge for each additional car. This fee is levied by the community not the homeowner. Located in the quiet private community of Brier Crest Woods we are close to three major highways, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Route 80E/W and Route 81 N/S. My home is minutes away from Big Boulder, Jack Frost and Elk Mountain Ski Resorts. It is also close to two casinos at mount Airie Lodge and Mohegan Sun. There are two water parks within a 20 minute drive at Split Rock Resort and Camel Beach.
