The SpaceThe space is a cozy, comfortable private suite of 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with a shared hallway. (Airbnb allows all listings to be either a 1 bedroom or the entire house -- but its neither - there's 2 bedrooms in a very separate private suite w/its own entrance.). Bedroom 1 contains a comfortable queen bed, table and chair, small refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker. Coffee, cream and sugar is provided. Bedroom 2 contains 2 twin beds. Both rooms have outside views. The three-piece bath contains a large shower. The bedrooms are light and airy, with ceiling fans, heating and AC. Bedroom 2 (with the twin beds) has closet space for hanging clothing. The two bedrooms and bath are off a hallway, and separated from the rest of the home by a locked door. Guests have complete privacy, security, quiet and cannot be heard in the main part of the house. The suite accommodates couples, couples with children, singles traveling with friends. We are a family friendly Airbnb site, and love having kids. Our dogs love kids, and our property is wide open space with room for them to run and be kids. Guest AccessGuests have access to the suite through a private, separate entry. The suite is connected to the rest of the house, and separated by a locked door. We invite our guests to enjoy a glass of wine on their own porch. The grounds are 5+ acres, complete with horse corrals, arena and tack areas. Guests can wander freely and carrots are always available for feed the horses. Horseback lessons are also available for guests over 5 yrs. old for an additional fee. Short rides are always offered free. If guests have never ridden a Peruvian Paso, we encourage you to try one! (Horses can carry 20% of their weight, including the saddle, thus we have a 190 lb rider weight limit on all horses.) Interaction with GuestsYour hosts are on-site, and happy to assist you with any needs, including restaurant recommendations, directions, or any thing else you may need. We always welcome questions about our horses! Please note that Cowboy and Luisa, our Australian Cattle Dogs, are always available to play ball. They can be tireless though. So please don't feel obligated to entertain them :) But they are great companions as you walk. We recommend that guests who are considering staying with us need to like dogs though since they are a big part of ranch life. The NeighborhoodWe are located in a rural area between Temecula and Hemet, CA, and about 15 minutes drive from the Temecula Wine Country which boasts more than 50 wineries, music events, festivals such as the Hot Air Balloon festival, and more. There are hot air balloon rides offered year round. Close by are also both Diamond Valley Lake and Lake Skinner, which offer more family activities (mostly boating, no swimming though unfortunately). Getting AroundBecause of the rural location, there is no public transportation available. Other Things to NoteWe are located between Temecula and Hemet, both with several restaurant options. Mynda's Country Kitchen, a local favorite, is within walking distance, offering breakfast and lunch and is open from 7 am to 3 pm daily. There is a small refrigerator in the suite, along with microwave oven and coffee maker, so guests can conveniently store snacks and drinks, make coffee and relax.
