The SpaceSimple country house situated off secondary road. Excellent walks and skiing in winter; hikes and swimming and mud sliding! on farm in summer. There are two bedrooms; each rents for $65 per night. One bedroom suits one or two adusts ( one bed); 2nd bedroom suits one adult or two children. Guest AccessFull breakfast served. Sorry, no cooking facilities for guests. Interaction with GuestsI want guests to be comfortable and will direct them to interesting places closeby; while I will be present during my guest's stay, I work from home so must spend time on that. The NeighborhoodWonderful rolling hills, farm markets, riverviews, winery tours, farm based craft breweries, musical jams, swimming holes, Smiley's park, great pubs...all nearby! Good hikes, yard sales, antique stores, fairs and events. We're only 45 min. from Halifax and the airport and we're at the gateway to the Annapolis Valley. Getting AroundNo public transport close by. Car is a definite necessity. Other Things to NoteThis is a working farm! We try to get to bed early most nights ( around 10pm) and are up early in the am -7ish. For great walks around the farm and down to the river, have rubber boots or be prepared to get your feet wet!

The Lily Pad is conveniently located 40 minutes from Halifax, 20 minutes from Martock Ski Hill, and within 30 minutes of Nova Scotia's best wineries. Only 25 mins from Parsboro, and 40 mins from Wentworth Ski. A great space to relax and unwind. This location is actually located in Economy, Nova Scotia at the bottom of economy mountain. A welcoming atmosphere designed to whisk you away to a rustic retreat where your number one priority is to relax and rejuvenate. This location is very spacious, high speed internet, HDTV - with 60" TV's, easy to keep warm, an amazing view of there bay of Fundy, and has everything you need. This property has a an extensive deck with all southern exposure (sun all day) as well as a northern deck that has cover in case weather is unfriendly. - In the winter months this location perfect for snowmobile and skiers. The property is just minutes away from some major trails and connectors. Ski Wentworth is a short drive. - In the fall you can't get a better location for an unbelievable view of the bay along with the colorful mountain of hardwood trees. For any one looking for a deer hunting trip this area is known for deer hunting and you don't have to go far to make this happen. - In the spring and summer the view and water take the cake. There is a very private beach just minutes away. This area also provides some of the best Bass fishing around with access all along this great shore. In addition to this some of our local fisherman source their fish by use of fish weirs - its very cool. If your into hiking there are countless trails and your a short drive and adventurous walk from economy falls. - regardless of the season the sunrises and sunsets are some of the best you can ever see. - Firepit on west side of lawn. Please treat the house as you would your own. This is a non-smoking home and a pet free when we stay however if you have pets and would like to smoke we can allow that for guests. Convenience store just 3 mins away with fresh baked goods and a great selection of product. A few seasonal restaurants are close as well with great seafood and other lovely things. Great Bass fishing nearby. Private beach area 5 minute walk from property where you can enjoy the astonishing tides of the Bay of Fundy. Within 20-40 mins drive, A ship-building and rock museum (Fundy Geological Museum), a Theatre for plays and performances (Ship's Company Theatre), Tidal Bore Rafting (riding the waves of the highest tides) with mud sliding a family favorite.

      A bright spacious home with a country feel. Large deck overlooking the Bay of Fundy. Close to areas for hunting, bass fishing, and snow-mobile trails. Only 25 mins from Parsboro, and 40 mins from Wentworth Ski. A great space to relax and unwind. This location is actually located in Economy, Nova Scotia at the bottom of economy mountain. A welcoming atmosphere designed to whisk you away to a rustic retreat where your number one priority is to relax and rejuvenate. This location is very spacious, high speed internet, HDTV - with 60" TV's, easy to keep warm, an amazing view of there bay of Fundy, and has everything you need. This property has a an extensive deck with all southern exposure (sun all day) as well as a northern deck that has cover in case weather is unfriendly. - In the winter months this location perfect for snowmobile and skiers. The property is just minutes away from some major trails and connectors. Ski Wentworth is a short drive. - In the fall you can't get a better location for an unbelievable view of the bay along with the colorful mountain of hardwood trees. For any one looking for a deer hunting trip this area is known for deer hunting and you don't have to go far to make this happen. - In the spring and summer the view and water take the cake. There is a very private beach just minutes away. This area also provides some of the best Bass fishing around with access all along this great shore. In addition to this some of our local fisherman source their fish by use of fish weirs - its very cool. If your into hiking there are countless trails and your a short drive and adventurous walk from economy falls. - regardless of the season the sunrises and sunsets are some of the best you can ever see. - Firepit on west side of lawn. Please treat the house as you would your own. This is a non-smoking home and a pet free when we stay however if you have pets and would like to smoke we can allow that for guests. Convenience store just 3 mins away with fresh baked goods and a great selection of product. A few seasonal restaurants are close as well with great seafood and other lovely things. Great Bass fishing nearby. Private beach area 5 minute walk from property where you can enjoy the astonishing tides of the Bay of Fundy. Within 20-40 mins drive, A ship-building and rock museum (Fundy Geological Museum), a Theatre for plays and performances (Ship's Company Theatre), Tidal Bore Rafting (riding the waves of the highest tides) with mud sliding a family favorite.

      The SpaceThe guest house is a cozy one room + half bath, (full bathroom accessible in the main house) with queen size bed, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and soft seating. Guest AccessGuests have access to the heated in-ground pool, 8-person hot-tub, large stone fire-pit surrounded by adirondack chairs, gardens, main-house bathroom, and laundry facilities. Interaction with GuestsWe live and work on the property and are happy to advise on the surrounding attractions - wineries, golf courses, historic homes/tours. We are easy-going and enjoy meeting new people and socializing but will also respect your privacy. Getting AroundWe have a parking lot beside the guest house. Other Things to NoteOn the property, my wife operates a fashion design and manufacturing studio that supplies her five stores across Canada. Guests are welcome to tour the building and shop in the showroom, if interested.

      Guest AccessYou are welcome to use the entire house, with the exception of a storage room located in the basement which is locked and we keep our personal possessions. You are also welcome to use two of our kayaks and the small green jon boat with electric motor (providing you have your safe boating course). Life jackets must be worn. We have adult sizes only, please bring your own for your children. Interaction with GuestsMy wife Novie and I live in Windsor, NS and are only a 20 minute travel to our chalet. If we will not be available during your stay we will make sure to let you know in advance. Other Things to NoteThe Falls Lake Resort is a lovely wooded area and we ask that guests make sure to leave the property and surrounding nature just as you found it. We welcome pets on our property, but please keep large dogs off of the furniture and make sure to pick up after your pets outside. As part of the covenants of the area, dogs must be kept on a leash when outside.
