The SpaceSpacious, well-appointed kitchen with all the modern appliances. A good sized balcony and lots of natural light. The lounge and bedroom are cozy but still fairly spacious with sweeping views of the area and loads of natural light. All of the furniture, electronics etc. are top notch because that stuff is important to me and so is my apartment. Guest AccessFull access, what's mine is yours. There will be toiletries and all the basics like spices, oil, sugar, tea and coffee. Linen and towels of course, this is a luxury apartment! Also, I'm a professional Melbourne tour guide and can organise you anything from a local phone to a bike... you're very own tour of the city, transfers. Really anything. Interaction with GuestsI will try to be there for check in and check out when possible but it's not necessary. Think of me like (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) - I'm out of your way completely until you need something, then I'm right there with exactly what you need. The NeighborhoodWindsor is one of Melbourne's most loved neighbourhoods. It's vibrant and just a little bit bohemian with the perfect mix of leafy streets, beautiful parks, bars shops, cafes and restaurants. Every week there are new restaurants and cafes opening up in the area that are an easy walk from my place and it's easily the coolest place to be this side of the river. My street is pretty widely accepted to be the best in the area. Feel free to check out my guidebook for some great suggestions, these are just a few of my ever evolving list of favourites. Getting AroundThe street is perfect for parking and for public transport with easy access to trams, trains and buses. If you'd prefer to get around by bike it's a good flat area with loads of bike paths. Let me know and I will have a bike ready for your arrival. Other Things to NoteIf you're interested in exploring the city and surrounds, I run a company called Localing Tours Melbourne. Feel free to (URL HIDDEN) and check it out. Even if you're not into the guided tours I'm more than happy to be on call during your stay for recommendations etc. and we can totally go grab a few beers.

The studio is also near beautiful Albert Park lake location of the Gran Prix. Prahran shopping centre is nearby where you can scroll to shops and restaurants. The CBD is just minutes away by tram. CONDITIONS- Long term rates are negotiable- Electricity fair use policy applies. We love Melbourne and are happy to be involved in your stay as much or as little as you'd like =) Have a read of our reviews and references to find out more about us through other travellers and friends. The NeighborhoodOnly 10 minutes walk from the trendy bohemian end of Chapel Street (Windsor/Prahran) there are numerous independent retro-type clothing and vintage stores, bars, restaurants, and cafés to explore. Other local areas include St Kilda Beach (30-40min walk depending on pace; popular spot with travellers), and Carlisle Street (more great cafes!). Getting AroundReliable public transport is available in all directions; 2 minutes walk to the nearest tram stop and 10 minutes walk to Windsor train station, both direct lines into the city. There's also trams going north to Prahran/Richmond and trains going south Bayside. Melbourne uses the Myki smartcard ticketing system for all trams, trains, and buses. We have a few spare Myki's around for guests to use (unfortunately we're not aware of the dollar value loaded on them by guests before). Plenty of free untimed street parking available if you have a car. Up High Street from Williams Road are antique and homewares shops all drool worthy. Head to St Kilda Beach where you can dine 5 star or grab fish and chips and sit on the beach. Maybe take a ride on the Roller Coaster at Luna Park or go bar hopping down Fitzroy Street. Grab a tram into the city and be a culture vulture doing the National Gallery, Federation Square and ACMI or just hit the shops, then the bars. Getting AroundThere is heaps of public transport options trams, trains and buses close by. There is a bike for use at the flat. Coffee, tea and condiments included. Juicer and fresh fruit for juicing included. Herbs and vegetables (when in season) can be picked from the balcony garden.         The SpaceMy beautifully renovated apartment is a perfect blend of comfy, local style living and luxury furnishings. Minutes from trendy Chapel St. with some of Melbourne's best cafes, restaurants and designer shopping. Peace, privacy and easy access to the city by train, tram or bus. The perfect base to explore from. The apartment has polished wooden floors and is perfect for one or two people. It can be rented for short or longer stays and has safe and free on street parking. I've only recently moved into this place so while it's got everything you could need to be comfortable and feel at home, it's not overrun with clutter. It has a lovely open feeling and plenty of natural light while still being very peaceful and quiet. The couch, queen sized bed and large flat screen TV (including Apple TV & Netflix) are all new, as are most of the fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen. I care a lot about comfort and quality and am happy to welcome anyone willing to treat my home as I do. The apartment is yours for the duration of your stay. I will probably leave a few of my personal items like clothing out of the way in cupboards etc. but there will be plenty of space for your things of course. You're welcome to anything in my pantry, fridge and freezer, and the use of all kitchen utencils. I will also leave my external hard drive connected to the TV which I keep pretty stocked with heaps of great movies and TV series. Myself or a close friend will be available to check you in, acquaint you with the apartment and give you great advice about the neighbourhood, things to do and how to get around. I'll be sure to leave all my details and am more than happy to help with anything during your stay but I will otherwise be out of your way. Perfectly placed between Windsor and Prahran, the Avenue is one of the most sought after streets in Melbourne (see photo with canopy of Autumn leaves). That's because it's peaceful, pretty and really quiet but is only a few minutes walk from Chapel St. I've already mentioned the designer shopping, bars and restaurants. There's also plenty of great cafes and foodstores and I will make sure to leave you plenty of excellent recommendations to help you navigate them. The other great thing about the area is the proximity to areas like St. Kilda and South Yarra which are a 20-30 min walk or easy bike/tram ride away. 6km from the city, 7-8km from Carlton, Collingwood & Fitzroy and all easily accessible by tram and train. Of course theres plenty of free, on street parking if you plan to bring your car along. I'm very happy to invite you into my home and I hope that you enjoy it and respect it as much as I do.
