The NeighborhoodThe Best thing about my home is; close to NYC, major highways and yet you feel as if you are in the country living on a mountain top with a view of NYC. I love the park next door and walk in it daily with my dog. Its so calm and quiet here you will feel like its a retreat house. The street is very safe there are only 4 homes on the block as the house is located on a dead end street. You have to drive up a steep hill to get here so you need a car. The view of NYC is amazing. The wildlife here is beautiful, you will see deer, groundhogs, rabbits, red robins, blue jays, hawks and eagles. Its very impressive for living so close to NYC. You have great access to all the major highways rt80, rt3, rt46, turnpike and parkway. Getting AroundYou must have a car. Other Things to NoteThings to Consider:
Laundromat is a few minutes away by car. You may NOT use the laundry room.
Grocery store nearby must have a car. Stop and Shop, Fairway and Trader Joe's all 5 minutes by car;
There is a cleared area in Kitchen to store your food. I don't cook or prepare breakfast. You may cook and use my dishes.
New York City 20 Minutes There is a bus to NYC (with no traffic it takes 20 minutes). The walk downhill is a little steep but can be done to get the bus.
You must have a car to get around from my home.
Shared bath and shared kitchen, each person is required to keep Kitchen & bathroom clean.
Small Dog lives in the house, hypoallergenic, he is an amazing, lovable dog...he will never bite, he does bark (not too much). If you come home late entering quietly will help...If you don't let the door click, he may not notice. I am allergic to every animal on the planet because he is a poodle it's the only kind of dog that I am NOT allergic to he is groomed monthly. He does not go in the bedrooms unless you want him there.
If I am free, I could provide transportation to Newark airport for $30.

My home is rather quaint, earthy and homelike, and I do like it kept neat. If you use the stove, you must clean it.
You many not rent movies on my tv.
I am not comfortable with Uber drivers coming around all the time, and my neighbors are not as well.
