Take a whale cruise - Perth's amazing beaches: Cottesloe Beach, City Beach, Scarborough Beach and many more. - Rottnest Island - take a (30 minute from Fremantle) ferry trip and spend the day, bike riding, snorkelling, swimming. I am able to give you lots of ideas on things you can do in Perth and the best ways of getting around. The NeighborhoodI live in a lovely leafy suburb opposite a public golf course. City beach is a few minutes away by car and is one of Perth's most attractive beaches and recently has been upgraded with new resturants etc. The beach area has been renamed Jubilee Park.The city centre is approximately 15 minutes away. There is a bus into the city virtually outside the door and a bus that does a circle trip from the city to Fremantle approximately 10 minutes from the house. The house is opposite the Wembley Golf Course and close to Herdsman Lake. Floreat Forum is close by as is Claremont Central. Both are upmarket areas for shopping, wining dining etc. Woodlands also is good for shopping, strolling around Jack Adder Lake or just having a coffee or a meal whilst watching the bird life. Getting AroundThere are buses very close by to take you into the city etc. Garage space available for one car is also available. Other Things to NoteCheck in at 2.00 p.m and check out at 10.00.a'.m unless other time agreed with the host.

The SpaceA quaint studio apartment is completely self-contained with its own entrance, 1 double bed, separate bathroom toilet, and a living area. There is a private patio with a table to enjoy breakfast. The studio has a new double bed upstairs, and a comfortable sofa bed on the bottom floor. There is a mini fridge, microwave and small portal cooking, portable hotplates, newly bought cooking utensils. There's a TV, and wireless internet. All linen, towels and beach towels are supplied. Take a plunge in the swimming pool or go to the beach which is only 5 minutes from Scarborough beach. - Local cafes, 3 minutes walk away, with a local supermarket. Beautiful cafe overlooking Jakadder lake. An added addition is it is close to golf courses in Perth Guest AccessClose to public transport and train station which can take you to the Perth city. Car parking is available. There is excellent shopping at Innaloo or Karringyup and are all within 10 minutes drive from the house and also on the train line. The SpaceWelcome to Wembley Downs, Perth! I have a lovely modern and spacious 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom home that is fully furnished to a high standard with very comfortable and clean facilities. Within our lovely home, I offer a large bedroom with built in robe for a single person - great fit for a professional! There is WIFI internet, heating and cooling as required. You will supply own food etc. - dishwasher and washing machine, it's all here. The home is close to the beach and only 15 mins to the city by car. Bus stop at front door which goes to the city in around 35 minutes. Fitness First health club is 3 kms away which is next to shopping centre, cinemas, McDonalds and restaurants etc This is strictly a drug free household and no big drinkers either. A beer or wine is fine but we do not party at home. We have 2 separate lounge rooms so there is plenty of privacy if required. Very friendly but quiet environment in a very safe/family type suburb. I have no reviews yet as I have only just listed a few days ago but I'm looking forward to the hosting experience and will make sure your stay in Perth is as comfortable as possible!

The SpaceThis space is great for travellers, business people, FIFO's or people 'between' houses. The bedroom has walk-in robe, looks out over garden and swimming pool and is completely separate from the main house. It has a separate bathroom situated between the kitchen and bedroom. The self-contained kitchen is supplied for short term or longer term stays. The unit is a short walk to cafes, fast food outlets and some great restaurants. We are passionate about our local wildflowers and environment, so if you want to know what to look for and where to go to enjoy our local flora and fauna, this place is perfect for you. We have many wildflower books, walk trails and pictures you can scroll through to work out your next destination. We are also aware of a great many Aboriginal dreaming trails; some close, some a bus/train ride if you would like to know more about this Great Southern land. We have some great forests and bushlands within striking distance. If pre-arranged, we can take you on a tour if you would like and do a picnic lunch with the family. Guest AccessYou have private access to the front of the unit off the driveway. There is also a sliding door to the backyard via your dining area. The duplex apartment is attached to (but very independent from) our family home. A shared laundry with washing machine is located on 'our side' which you are welcome to use upon request. Interaction with GuestsWe (2 of us) run a small business from home in the Dining and Lounge room next to the kitchen. We are only in this space weekdays 10 -4. If you have traveled here for business, you are welcome to pull up a chair and share this space with us. Computer, internet, scanner, photocopier, printer and other office amenities are all here and in daily use. The NeighborhoodWe are a friendly family and have a great family friendly community. We enjoy the company of nature admirers, traveling grandparents, family oriented business professionals or travelers wanting to revel in our beautiful local wildflowers. We are also a pretty creative bunch so you are welcome to join in with chalk drawings on our path out the front, as many of our neighbors do !. Getting AroundAs the crow flies we are 6km from the city centre. Bus 99/98 loop ride is just down the road and takes you almost anywhere. We do have good access to buses which link to trains. Or again, if you like riding there are good bike paths. The beach is 3.5km (16 min bike ride). We are often driving to meetings so if push comes to shove, we could be tempted to drive you, but that might spoil the fun of exploring.... Other Things to NoteWe also have bikes and helmets available for you to explore our shopping centres, bushland, wetlands and beaches. The suburb is very quiet, our closest park is about 4 houses down the street, we have a lake within 10 minutes (North), and a significant bushwalk and large lake within 10 minutes (East).

Beach is 6km, City central - 8km . House is opposite shady park Very quiet street. Cool sea breezes most afternoons in summer. Study has pull out double sofa so home can sleep six if really necessary. However please be aware there are two toilets but only one bathroom. Unique cedar and iron cottage. Homely and welcoming. Shady reticulated gardens. Mango, avocado, lime, lemon, kaffir lime and orange trees. Air conditioned and heating throughout. Wooden floors. Undercover secure parking. Other on site parking for caravan or trailer. Charming cedar cottage ideal for holiday rental. Lounge on the front verandah and watch the park activities across the road. Or have a barbeque on the large back verandah. House has reverse cycle air conditioning throughout. Auto reticulated gardens. Ideally situated.

Most people have been here 20 plus years. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop at the local shopping centre which is 200 metres away and connects to the Joondalup/Perth rail line. Taxis are always only a few minutes away or if you have a car there is parking on site. Other Things to NoteI have a cat named Max and a dog named Maisie. Both are very friendly and enjoy company.
