The SpaceWe are located in a beautiful, quiet suburb 20 mins train/ car journey from Perth CBD. Local shops are 5/10 minute walk away for all general provisions. For those without transport we have a good size shopping trolley bag on wheels. We have a local pub, The Woodvale Tavern which is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Visitors are spoilt for choice; shop, eat and play at Hillary's Boat Harbour(15 minute drive), explore 17 kms of pristine coastline, including the lovely Mullaloo Beach( 15 minute drive), enjoy championship golf facilities, discover nature on walking trails, splash around at the water playground, or indulge in numerous retail outlets. Award-Winning HILLARY'S BOAT HARBOUR is only a 15 minute drive away, incorporating the SORRENTO QUAY boardwalks with a variety of clothes, art, souvenir, gift and jewellery outlets and numerous family friendly places to eat. Hillary's also hosts AQWA: THE AQUARIUM OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA, boasting the largest aquarium and underwater glass tunnel in Australia. Burn off excess energy at the GREAT ESCAPE LEISURE PARK, a family-friendly water park with thrilling tube rides. The SpaceWelcome to Perth! This completely self contained apartment is located 23km from Perth City, 10km from Joondalup and 8 km from beach with a bus stop only 300 metres away. The apartment is on the same block as the main house but has its own entrance and is separate from the main residence so you have complete privacy. The Apartment: Bedroom - Double bed, bedding, airconditioning/heating and storage Bathroom - Large shower, toilet, towels and storage Kitchen - Fridge with freezer, cook top and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, lots of storage, iron and ironing board. Lounge area - Sofa, desk, Television, DVD player/DVD's, table and chairs. 1 Baby (under 12 months) welcome to stay and port-a-cot available for $40 cash per stay. If you are wanting to stay with more than one child please send a message through before booking. If you are a smoker, even an outside smoker please do not book this accommodation. The smell of smoke remains on clothing and therefore transfers off onto furnishings in the house. We choose to keep our rentals smoke free . All our rentals have solar panels on the roof to reduce our carbon footprint and mostly native gardens. You have shared access to the outside area as pictured including the BBQ and swimming pool. There is also a lemon and lime tree you are welcome to take fruit from. Feel free to see my other listing for short term rentals in Perth. Property now has a swimming pool for guests use. The Area: Local public transport is provided by the government and is called Transperth. You may wish to do a search on the internet to find the webpage. The bus stop is on the street and takes less than 4 minutes to walk to. Local shops and takeaways are within 1km. Please check the calendar for availability. The SpaceThe house has 2 bed rooms with nice gardens to relax & have your breakfast in, whilst the native birds sing & play through the flora surrounding the privacy of the place.Come equipt with a fully furnished kitchen for you to cook meals in. Situated close to Joondalup city, & Beaches only 7 klm away, And only a walk/ ride to our famous wet lands joondalup lake. Where our wet land creatures reside. The train station a 5 min walk, While the bus stop is out the front. 25 klm from Perth city & takes 20 minutes on the train to get there. The Tafe & the University only 3klm away. I also have one single room if needed there is a king size single bed in there For an extra $15 pr person per nite. And a sofa bed that sleeps another.There is a gym for those that like to stay fit whilst on the move.Wireless internet is available for your convenience, no downloading please. Plenty of parking off road. Continental breakfast is supplied. Other cooking facilities provided for you to cook breakfast for your self. Leaving the kitchen clean & tidy once finished please. Plenty of restaurants & take away's available. Also the famous Hilarys Boat Harbor with loads of specialist shops to shop & a nice swimming hole for a family. This is only a 10 minute drive. A quite sound place to rest your head. Safe n sound to ground. With no problems of screaming city life. If you like nature walks , there is a lovely nature walk only minutes away around our Lovely Wetlands Lake joondalup. There you may find Turtles ,Kangaroo's Swans ,Parrots, Cockatoo's & the odd Pelican . The birds are able to be hand fed. I have a couple of bikes for hire if you are interested in biking it. As it is a lime stone path that takes you to a lovely sound picnic/ bbq reserve. Nature at our door step. Guest AccessThe guests will have the entire house all but one room at the end of the house. My neighbors are helpful if i'm not around Getting AroundThere is a bus stop 2 doors up from Katzknook. The train is only a 5 minute walk to the station and take's 20 min to get into Perth's CBD. There is plenty of off road parking. GPS will bring you the best way to Katzknook Other Things to NoteKeep noise down In the evenings & mornings. To have consideration for others in the house The place is animal friendly, within reason.

      My place is close to beaches, public transport, and Joondalup city centre. You’ll love it because it has a tranquil outlook over the surrounding area. Lots of nature and open space around . Parrots, kangaroos and waterbirds live freely around the lake. Enjoy the view as you bbq and sip wine on the balcony or from the spa. Cool off in the pool during the summer.

      The SpaceThe caravan as a physical item is insured. I do not have public liability insurance if anything happens to you as a person - I recommend you check your own personal insurance for this. Guest AccessYou are free to use all of the gadgets and supplies that are in the camper, we just ask that you bring your own tea towels, towels, queen size duvet and covers,queenside fitted sheet and or sleeping bags plus pillows. I can supply these if needed but a cleaning/ supply fee of $50 will be charged. Interaction with GuestsWe want to help you enjoy the outdoor world of caravanning. To hire is a far cheaper way to have a go at caravanning. Please feel free to ask me anything and I will be happy to help. Before you rent from us we can take you step by step through the set up( its sooooo easy!) or we can provide written details, or both even!! :)) Other Things to NoteIf you like being outdoors and relaxing then caravanning is a great away to do just that. Campsites are full of like minded people and they are always helpful - I learn so much from other caravaners.Instructions for setting up pop up caravan 1. Get the chocks from front tool box and place either side of wheel to keep caravan from moving before feet are fixed (step 5). 2. Unclip 4 clips of caravan lid 3. Open caravan door (may need to lift lid a little – see step 6) 4. Pull out step from under door way 5. Feet - Get foot tool (long pole with turning handle kept inside front toolbox) and unwind anti-clockwise to put feet down. (There is a level in the tool box to assist levelling.) 6. Pop Top - Obtain pop-up top winding tool from tool box and fix into the flap to the right of the front toolbox. once fully wound up, velcro the flaps around the metal lifting mechanism on the corners. 7. All chairs, bbq tables etc are stored under the bed. 9. Sink – Waste water pipe( grey in colour) is in the front tool box in a green bag. Connect to waste pipe situated under caravan at site of sink then the other end goes into the campsite drain. The tall pump tap at the sink is water tank water, the other tap is mains water. 10. Door – Close bottom half. Release door from roof. Once down, you have to lift slightly to align small support rods into bottom half door holes. Close latches either side at the top of the door. Fold in hems of caravan enclosure into door frame on inside. Outside, Velcro edges to door frame. 11. Water – Hose (blue) is kept in the front toolbox . Connect the water filter ( found under the sink inside the camper) to water connector screw to the rear of the caravan (sink side) then connect blue hose to filter and then the other end to the camp tap. For non-mains water, to fill tank, the water input (black cover) is on side of back side of caravan near rear. 12. Power – The Orange power cord is kept in the tool box. Use this 15amp cord at the outside power inlet sink side. The outlet plug on the door side of the caravan is for domsestic use… e.g. lamps etc. All lamps and electrical cords are stored under rear sofa. 13. Stove/Grill – Turn on gas bottle located on tow bar hitch when operating stove/grill. Lighter is in compartment under sink tray. 14. Fridge – runs off mains power. Only use gas if 240V mains are not available. 15. Awning – Unroll awning and pull out support poles from end. Tie ropes and pegs are kept in the front white tube.

Yellagonga Regional Park is located on the Swan Coastal Plain within the Cities of Joondalup and Wanneroo. The Park contains a string of wetlands and swamps which form part of the ‘Linear Lakes’ of the Swan Coastal Plain. Included in Yellagonga Regional Park are Lake Joondalup, Beenyup Swamp, Walluburnup Swamp and Lake Goollelal. Yellagonga Regional Park’s wetlands represent some of the last remaining freshwater systems in the Perth Metropolitan Area. The largest lake in the Park, Lake Joondalup, is listed on the Register of the National Estate and is considered to be of national significance. In addition to the abundant plant life, these wetlands provide an important breeding ground for local birds, reptiles and amphibians. Just 11 kms from Cockatoo View is Hillarys Boat Harbour has numerous educational attractions that will be a hit with the kids and visitors alike, including AQWA and the Naturaliste Marine Discovery Centre.         The SpaceThe bedroom is positioned on the west side of the house for your privacy. It features a comfortable queen size bed that sleeps two, reverse cycle heating and air conditioning, a large built in wardrobe and lots of other storage. You will also have access to your own private bathroom which includes a shower, bath and toilet. If there is anything else you might need then let us know and we will do our best to make sure it's available for you! It is a large four bedroom property in the quiet and safe suburb of Heathridge. There are 2 spacious lounge areas to relax, TV, a bar and laundry for you to do your washing, drying or ironing. As well as the bedroom and bathroom, the kitchen will also be made available for you to store and keep food and make whatever you would like to eat. We eat together outside by the BBQ most nights so you are more than welcome to join us too! The garden has a lovely al fresco patio area with BBQ, seating and sofas – perfect for these warm months! And in the colder months, we even have a heater too! We also have a study you are welcome to use if necessary. The house has fully installed reverse cycle air conditioning and access to WIFI and Foxtel. There is also plenty of parking should you require it. The Swan Valley, renowned for it’s amazing wines is also just 20 minutes away by car. You can explore the vineyards, breweries, restaurants and chocolate shop. For the adventurers, there are lots of national parks and bush walks also right on the doorstep. Close by is also a range of other activities such as golf courses, gyms, the outdoor cinema, the list goes on… Everything you could want for an amazing West Australian experience is right on your doorstep here! Getting AroundWe are just 1 minutes walk away from the main train line. Edgewater train station will take you directly into Perth CBD in approx 20 minutes. Take the train to explore the City, Elizabeth Quay or access the bars, restaurants and shops. Other Things to NoteYou will need to be comfortable with pets. We have 2 very friendly kitties called Dave and Tigger. They keep to themselves and love to play and explore in the garden but you may see them strolling through the house looking for a cuddle!
