The SpaceI aim to make your stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible! My apartment is conveniently located 15 mins by bus to the city, or in the opposite direction, to Bondi beach, 10-15 mins walk to The Entertainment Quarter, SCG and Allianz Stadium. You are spoilt for choice with cafes, pubs, restaurants (ranging from some of Sydney's best to local pizzeria's) and designer to casual shops within walking distance! Your room is the master bedroom: it has one quality queen-sized bed with Egyptian cotton sheets, quality bedding, towels and face washer (beach towel if needed!). One-third of the wardrobe is yours with plenty of hanging space and space to store your suitcase. The bedroom is quiet, bright and airy with plenty of sunlight (heavy curtains available if you'd like to sleep during the day). The bathroom is shared with me, and you are welcome to use my hairdryer and straightener. Basic toiletries are included if needed (body wash, soap, shampoo, conditioner) to save you lugging around heavy items. You are welcome to use the kitchen which is well equipped with all the modern appliances (including dishwasher, microwave, food processor, mixer etc for the chef in you!), coffee plunger, and I have a selection of herbs and spices, sauces etc that you are welcome to use to save you buying items you won't finish. Continental breakfast is included each day: coffee, tea selection including herbal, toast with butter and jam, cereal, banana bread/muffins. The apartment has everything you should need: WIFI internet (printer use available if you need to print off tickets/boarding passes etc.), internal laundry with washer and dryer, a large, comfortable lounge with chaise, LCD TV, DVD player, internet tv, NETFLIX movies. I also have a movie collection (mixture of English and foreign titles, mainly French) that you are welcome to watch during your stay. Guest AccessThe apartment is located in a secure building, with lift access. As a guest in my home, you will have access to everything in the apartment, except my bedroom :-). Please review my house rules, but basically all I ask is that you don't abuse the privileges and look after the place as you would your own. Interaction with GuestsYou will be the sharing the apartment with myself, I work most days, sometimes weekends. However, I am available daily to answer any questions you may have or offer advice on what to see/do. I mainly like to give guests the freedom and space to relax, but I am more than happy to chat and show you around a little if it fits with my work schedule. I love people and travel! The NeighborhoodWith the city, Eastern beaches, Sydney nightlife, cafes and restaurants are on my doorstep and close-by, I am adjacent to the large, leafy Centennial Park (3 mins walk) with formal gardens, ponds, grand avenues, and sporting fields. It is used by walkers, joggers, roller-bladers and cyclists and it also offers horse riding facilities! Perfect for a morning or afternoon walk/run for the fitness-conscious. The Entertainment Quarter and Royal Hall of Industies is a 10 min walk, which is full of restaurants, clothing shops, cinemas, gym and a growers market every Wed and Sat. Fresh food shops are a 5-10 min walk ranging from a corner shop (they also serve coffee and breakfast) to an IGA supermarket, Paddington Fresh (bit pricey, but great quality: butcher, fruit and veg, deli, bakery). Bondi Junction is a 10 min bus ride and has large-chain supermarkets, and various fresh food shops (as well as being home to one of Sydney's largest and grandest Westfield shopping centre!) Getting AroundBus access is either outside my building or a 6-8 min walk to Oxford St buses which take you all directions in Sydney. Don't worry, I have maps, bus, travel and local hotspot information to make your stay stress-free. Street parking is available, and possible use of my car space on request. --------------------------------- FROM AIRPORT: I am 20 mins by taxi (approx. $40) OR: - take train from Airport to Central Station, and then either take a taxi to me (approx. $15) or bus#378 (about 15 min then a 6-8 min walk) Other Things to NoteIf you have any questions or if there is something else that you might need JUST ASK and I'll see what I can do! Please note: Although the room sleeps two people, the room rate/night is for one person. An extra guest (two maximum) is an extra $25/night. I look forward to hosting good people from all around Australia and the world!

The SpaceThe unit is a secured unit that fits 4 adults comfortably. I am a school teacher so it is the second bedroom that is free for guests anytime throughout the year. This pricing is for the WHOLE apartment. If renting just the second room there is a separate pricing under Sydney Leafy Living Listing. On request, the whole apartment can be booked with a minimum of 3 guests, especially in school holidays. The bedrooms are at the rear of the apartment so noise is limited. On weekends I would be happy to drive you to some local spots in the area. Have lived in Sydney my whole life so am open to any questions you may have over a glass of wine when I get home from work. The NeighborhoodWoollahra is a leafy, friendly area with lovely cafes and boutique shopping on Queen Street, which is practically out the front door. I love that it is close to everything and public transport is at the hop skip and a jump away every 20 minutes. The moonlight cinemas are across the road which is fun in summer to pack a picnic and enjoy a film under the stars. There are also great local pubs that are great for cheap eats. It is also close to all the nightlife if thats what you are after. Getting AroundThe 389 bus gets you from the unit right through the city with the final stop Sydney Harbour at the ferry terminals. It also takes you down to Bondi Beach. The train is a 10/15 minute walk down the hill to Edgecliff station or across the road to Bondi Junction which costs around $5 return trip to the city. Other Things to NoteDuring the week I am pretty housebound and like it quiet. AS long as I am not sleep deprived I am pretty flexible. Depending on the route and time of day, there are road and tunnel tolls to be paid, so if you'd rather avoid the $60-80 dollar fare (and the traffic!) its best to hop on the Airport Link train directly at the airport terminal (you will see the signs!) and get off at Museum Station in the CBD. If you are planning to use the busses and trains in Sydney, you just buy an OPAL CARD at the airport which is valid for all busses, trains and ferries! The airport fee is $12.60 in addition to the regular train fair, so make sure you put enough money on the card it when you load it initially. Hop on the train to Museum station. From there, you catch a bus or if thats all too much to deal with after a long flight, just hail a taxi from the city and you will be at our place in less than 10 mins ($15-20)…! If you are catching the bus, there are 3 direct routes that will take you to the doorstep! From the stop on the corner of Elizabeth and Oxford Street (where you emerge from Museum Station) you catch the M40, 380 or 333 directly to the very top of Oxford Street! If you tell the driver you are wanting to get off on the corner of Queen Street and Oxford, he will certainly tell you when to do so! Alternatively, TripView is a fantastic free smart phone app to help you with public transport in Sydney. You can track where you are on the satellite map as you go! Easy!
