I live on my own in a 4 bedroom house with a spacious open living area. The large outdoor area is screened in with a lounge, bar, fridge and barbecue. My 2 sons Jack and Jesse have recently flown the coup and are on their way now in their own careers. My home is a 2-3 minute walk to shops, bus-stop, doctors and tavern. Wi-fi internet available and free. I'm a nurse in the aged care industry and a warm and compassionate person. Love meeting new people of all ages and nationalities. I welcome you into my home for a wonderful stay on the Gold Coast.

We have a lovely large 4 bedroom home situated on a hill that has magnificent views of the Gold Coast skyline and also the Gold Coast hinterland. There is a public bus stop at the end of our street that provides a bus service around the Gold Coast and its beautiful beaches. We have a resort style swimming pool , BBQ and cabana area which is perfect to enjoy our lovely weather. We are conveniently situated near famous theme parks and only 10 minutes drive by car to the nearest beach.

Welcome to our comfy cottagey home in the quiet leafy suburb of Worongary. We offer 2 separate rooms with double beds tastefully decorated in classically elegant style with crisp linen and fluffy white bath towels.( And yes you are welcome to book just one room if you are a couple or single.) Guests have a private bathroom with hairdryer and a separate toilet. The kitchenette has a fridge stocked with yummy breakfast goodies, a kettle and toaster so you are free to make your own continental breakfast in your own time.There is a private patio with a BBQ and outdoor setting should you wish to stay in for dinner. There is also a separate entrance for quests so you can come and go as you please. The entire guest area can be closed off from the main part of the house so your privacy is respected. We have a quaint shopping center 5 min drive away which has an excellent al fresco food court offering diners a variety of international eateries including Thai, Indian, Chinese, Italian and Mexican to name a few. We are conveniently located a 10/20 min drive from the theme parks, beaches and hinterland in a quiet leafy suburb away from the hustle and bustle of the glitter strip. The Gold Coast airport is a 25 min drive away and the closest station is a 5 min drive. There is a regular bus service just a 5 min walk, but a hire car is always a great option to get around this interesting and picturesque part of Australia. We are originally from Cape Town and Harare and work in the pet/security/boating industries. We are a well traveled couple and share our home with a gentle giant called Rocky.

The SpaceOur beautiful home has been designed and built by a local artist and her builder husband. From the outside a warm double brick house, and from the inside a myriad of eclectic colours. Four bedrooms, two living spaces, and a huge kitchen with seperate dining seating 12 makes entertaining easy. A large verandah and a huge tiled area beside our pool make outdoor living easy. We are 5 minutes from the most popular shopping centre on the Gold Coast and 15 minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You cannot see any neighbours homes from our back yard due to the position of our house. So there is complete privacy and tranquillity as you enjoy the view of native bushland beyond our fence behind the pool. Getting AroundThere is a bus that stops at the end of our street and travels to the largest shopping centre on the Gold Coast- Robina Town Centre in about 15 minutes. It comes about every hour. A car is best to travel independently. Car hire of one of our cars may be possible at a economical price.

The actual granny flat itself consists of a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, combined lounge/dining room & a separate bedroom with it's own ensuite with shower, toilet and vanity. There is also a private, covered outdoor area with table & chairs which runs down the side of the granny flat. The granny flat also has it's own separate entrance to the pool area. Guest AccessWe are very friendly hosts that will give you your privacy or are more than happy to sit down and have a chat or a BBQ with you. You have your own, fully self contained, granny flat with air conditioning and full access to the beautiful pool which has an awesome hammock/swing chair, hand made in Byron Bay. There's a new covered area and umbrella around the pool for shade or just laze around with a book and soak up some rays. You have full access to a large BBQ & there's plenty of private outside covered space to just retreat to, for some peace. There are several local shops & chemist close by & several fast food outlets 5 minutes away. The local Carrara markets are also close by, to pick up some presents for family & friends. Theme parks eg:Movie World, Dreamworld, Whitewater World are 15minutes drive away approx. A fold out bed or ports-cot can be arranged on request. So no matter whether you are coming for the footy AFL or NRL or shopping or golf or just passing through whilst caravanning, we are within 5-15 minutes drive to most things. The number 1 thing you will love about this place is being able to JUMP IN the POOL after a big day doing whatever. Getting AroundThe main highway the M1 is 2 minutes away so you have close access whether you might like to drive to Brisbane or Byron or to the theme parks. There is a train station 5 minutes away and local buses if needed. The Coolangatta airport is approximately 30minutes drive & the Brisbane airport is approximately 45-60 minutes drive. A train can be caught from Brisbane airport to the Nerang train station & our home is only 5minutes away. Pick up from the Coolangatta airport or Nerang train station can be arranged for a nominal pre-arranged fee on request.
