    The SpaceA beautiful environment within rustic surrounds. The house has been built out of recycled materials with exposed beams, unpolished wooden floors and vast panes of glass which look out to native bush with ocean glimpses. If you are looking for an ultra modern accomodation with inbuilt spa then this place may not be for you. If you appreciate rustic design and do not mind a vintage bathroom then you will no doubt love the serenity that this accomodation provides. Guest Access900 metres one way is Kennett River Beach and less than 400 metres the other way are walking tracks into the Otway National park. The NeighborhoodTwo of the best surf breaks on the Great Ocean Road within a few hundred metres. Wye River General store and Wye River pub, two of the Great Ocean Roads best. One a coffee house and amazing cafe and the other with great kid friendly pub meals with amazing views, both within 5 minutes by car. Other Things to NotePlease note you will need to bring your own bed linen. We supply a mattress protector, pillow case protector, doona and doona cover. Guest AccessGuests will have Wyuna all to themselves - There are 2 king sized beds in each bedroom. There are two single beds if needed for guests or the children. There is lots of storage and hanging space. One of the amazing features of Wyuna is to wake up in the morning with the panoramic ocean views between your feet! ALL rooms have ceiling to floor sliding windows so you can capture the sights and sounds of the bush. Wyuna has a bathroom with a separate toilet, shower, and vanity. There is also a washing machine and clothes dryer - a rarity for beach houses at Wye River. There is ample parking for 2 cars and with an almost level block, no steep slopes by Wye River standards! All linen and towels are supplied so just bring your togs and beach towel. If Wyuna is booked by a single person or couple the second bedroom will be closed off. You will have access to all other rooms in the house except the second bedroom which will be locked. Interaction with GuestsThe owners are never on site when guests are staying at Wyuna providing peace and privacy. The NeighborhoodThe small and quiet town of Wye River offers everything to make your holiday romantic and enjoyable. There is excellent dining at the Wye Beach Hotel and the Wye River General Store and Cafe where you can pick up all the supplies that you need. Whether you are after organic produce, good coffee or fresh bread baked on the premise the store has it all! If fishing is your thing excellent whiting, salmon and snapper can be caught off the point or around many of the secluded beaches and bays. Apollo Bay is a 25 minute drive and Lorne is 15 minutes by car. Both towns offer fresh seafood from the docks and both have wonderful shopping strips offering restaurants, cafes, home wares and clothing stores, cinemas and book stores. Within an easy drive from Wye River are berry farms, wineries, waterfalls and bush walks throughout the Otway Ranges. A favourite of the locals is a trip to the Grey River picnic ground at night time to see the glow worms or during the day you may see a family of koalas at Kennet River near the Koala Cafe. Your dog will love the freedom of Wye River Beach which is off lead year round, although with restricted hours during Summer peak season. And finally - now you can see why Wyuna is the "clear" choice for cosy accommodation at Wye River! Getting AroundThe beauty of Wyuna is the relatively flat 250 metre walk to the beach - a rarity in Wye River. Huge entertaining deck looks out to the forest with ocean backdrop. Guest AccessFireplace, barbeque, linen not included (except by prior arrangement at additional cost), all necessities are on site (except washing machine - site uses rain water and thus is a precious resource) Interaction with GuestsYou will be met by someone for key handover, I am available on email or mobile. The NeighborhoodHand feed the Kookaburras and Magpies (fresh mince), all the other birds (normal bird seed), Koala's are in abundance and often in the trees across from the house and in the neighboring block. Great location to set up base for bush walking or touring around the coastal areas of Lorne (20 minutes), Wye River (5 minutes) and Apollo Bay (20 minutes). Do a day trip to Erskine Falls, Skeenes Creek (Turton's Track) or the 12 Apostles! Walk/drive down to the local beach and have a refreshing swim if you dare (the cold currents)! Getting AroundBus goes past the Cafe Koala, about 15 minute walk up the hill. Otherwise you will require your own transport. Other Things to NoteLocal general store, mention Raj and get $3 coffee! LINENPROVIDED Proudly brought to you by Great Ocean Road Holidays 'We went to bed a family of four, but by morning our numbers had swelled to seven with the arrival of a koala and two kookaburras that were obviously known to management. The elderly koala eyeballing us through the kitchen window was unfussed by the squealing excitement of two pre-schoolers; the kookaburras flew at a plate of food like a couple of landlords collecting the rent. Morley, a house overlooking Wye River with a balcony the size of an inner-city terrace, sure knows how to put the icing on the getaway cake.' The elderly koala eyeballing us through the kitchen window was unfussed by the squealing excitement of two pre-schoolers; the kookaburras flew at a plate of food like a couple of landlords collecting the rent. Morley, a house overlooking Wye River with a balcony the size of an inner-city terrace, sure knows how to put the icing on the getaway cake.'
