    Our property is a little unique given that we have a completely edible garden, we have our own chickens, from which we get fresh eggs from each day and we love to cook and there's not much better than fresh eggs. Our House is 4 years old, it has 4 bedrooms, of which we have one for rent , there is a rumpus/games room, a large family meals and kitchen area that overlooks our organic edible garden. The room is a large bedroom with built in robe, a double bed, bedside table and a small desk. We have a sustainable property that provides all of our vegetable and herb requirements all year round. We have two bathrooms and the house is very modern. Our guests experience what it is like to eat from the freshest and tastiest produce at their finger tips. They also get to experience walks along the beautiful Werribee River in presidents park which is only metres form our front door. Experience the bird life on dawn and dusk and the pristine fresh air of country living. Werribee is only 32klms from Melbourne's CBD but as we are in the food bowl of Melbourne's food growing districts we rank highly on great restaurants and eateries, cafe's and take away food restaurants. 100 metres from our front door connects you to a half hourly bus that will take you into the township or to the train station where a 30 minute trip gets you into the heart of Melbourne, you can't drive there that fast! Getting AroundWant to visit Melbourne CBD - only 45 (express only 35 minutes) minutes by train (station 2 minutes by car or 12 minutes walking thru Maddingley Park,) - Many other highlights that you will need a car in enjoy.     The Spacebedrooms share a bathroom that has a shower and bath, along side the toilet and laundry. Our guests are encouraged to make themselves feel at home and to use all of the facilities we have including the kitchen if they so wish? Of course they can elect Craig to cook for them for $15 per day extra. Ask for more info. We are a relaxed couple Husband and Wife 50ish, whom work full time, Craig works from home running his own business, Breakfast is provided and other meals can be arranged if you require them them at a very reasonable rate. Our neighborhood is quiet and close to a very large park that has a great playground and BBQ facility, along side the Werribee River that reaches Port Phillip Bay at Werribee South. A great little spot with a nice beach for bathing at a marina for boating and rocks for fishing from it is a popular spot for all. We have a bus stop less than 100 metres from our front door that will get you to the train station within 10 minutes, also along to any of the three major shopping destinations you may choose. Our home is pretty unique as we have a completely edible garden we nearly produce all that we eat on site in our picturesque edible garden, we also have chickens that provide us fresh eggs to breakfast and baking and our guests just love wandering around looking smelling picking and eating through our garden. Getting Aroundless than 100 metres from the but that connects to the train system and easy to get in and out of the City if you want to, we think there is already enough to do and see here in Werribee, Other Things to NoteMake sure you get to see Werribee Park Mansion, also the open range Zoo certainly World Quality, Shadow fax Winery is another fantastic experience, also Werribee South Beach and surrounding Market gardens is part of the Food bowl of Victoria and well worth a drive though to have a look. plus much much more.

The Boyd Baker House site is surrounded by nearly 200 acres of additional bushland which was donated to the State of Victoria by Dr Michael Baker in 1991. There is only one owners storage which is not accessible Interaction with GuestsThe caretaker is available for interaction on a bed and breakfast basis however guests are given liberal use of the premises. The NeighborhoodThe houses are located within the Long Forest Conservation Reserve in close proximity to beautiful bushland walks. Bacchus Marsh is a short distance away as is the beautiful Daylesford area. Extensive shopping is located close by as well. As well as the main Baker House the second smaller Dower House is also available. Guests are also given access to the library and studio which is a separate building. Getting AroundThe property is accessed by road only. However, the property is located only a short 35 minute drive from the CBD Melbourne. Extensive parking is included on site. The NeighborhoodI love how close we are to Residents park it is within a short walk from our place and it has so much to offer, from the kids adventure playground to a great River walk to the Lake it is all fantastic. Getting AroundThere is a bus 6 doors down that takes you to Werribee Railway Station, or to Werribee Plaza. You can also get a gull sky bus from Melbourne airport to Werribee for $20.00 Other Things to NoteThere is a shuttle bus that goes to Geelong, and it stops at Werribee I recall it costs $20 so much cheaper than using a taxi and quicker than public transport.

Long Forest nature walks are a must do activity. Getting AroundWe recommend your own transport as all the major public transport links are at least 6 minutes away by car. Other Things to NoteThe property is located just off the Western Highway which is a main arterial route to Melbourne (east) and Ballarat (west). You will need your own car as public transport is a 6 minutes drive to either Melton or Bacchus Marsh. Melton and Bacchus Marsh both have good rail links into Melbourne.

A second fridge is available for your personal use. There is an outdoor dining area as well as the dining setting in the open space living area. Guest AccessI will prepare breakfast for you but you are welcome to use the kitchen and dining areas to prepare other meals yourself. There is also a washing machine, clothes line and dryer if you need them. Gas BBQ is available too. Interaction with GuestsI work from home so am available most of the time if you need me. I also work as a volunteer at the local Information Centre so have lots of information on the local area and the State of Victoria. I travel extensively in my caravan within Australia so can provide some helpful tips on what to see if you are coming from overseas. and plan to travel around. I enjoy socialising with my guests but respect your privacy and quiet time and need time to myself as well. The NeighborhoodMelton is a multicultural town with a range of people and cultures. It has an excellent library, multi-theatre cinema, a range of shops and restaurants - dine in and takeaway as well as home delivery, and a large shopping mall, great cycling and walking tracks, beautiful creeks and stunning forest, bushland surrounding the town, Aquatic centre, gyms, sports fields and an indoor sporting complex. Getting AroundA regular bus service provides transport to the railway station or to anywhere else within the town including the shopping areas. The bus stop is approximately 800 metres away. The train station is two and a half kilometres away and the bus runs to and from the station. Trains run into Melbourne hourly and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Taxis are also available. If I am home, I am happy to drive you to or from the train station. Other Things to NoteMy little dog Cody lives here too. He's very cute and everybody loves him but if you're allergic to or don't like dogs, I guess this won't be the place for you.

No internal smoking or pets allowed. Apartment also has toys, and a selection of books and movies for guests to utilise. If you are travelling by train, taxi's are available from the Bacchus Marsh railway station and our accommodation is less than a five minute drive from the railway station. We are also located only a short drive from Bacchus Marsh Golf Club, Eynesbury Homestead, Boyd Baker House, St Anne's Winery and Tapcorp Park if you are attending a wedding or function at one of these venues.     The SpaceSet in a large semi-modern home, this accommodation has been a winner with international guests for the past 8 years. Guests are treated with a warm welcome and freedom to move about. A large, spacious and colourful meals area is a bonus and is one of the best features of this accommodation. As it is on a farm, there is no transport available from the farm however, we can arrange a time where I drive you into Melton shopping precinct or the train station and pick you up at a later time. However, if you have a car, it is only a 5 minute drive to the main shopping of Melton and less to the station. A comfortable country train (V-Line train) leaves from Melton station directly into the City of Melbourne; approximately every hour during non-peak times. Travel time is about 40 minutes from Melton to Southern Cross Station. A V-line train also runs in the opposite direction to the West, to the historical City of Ballarat. Guest AccessGuests have access to the lounge-room for relaxation or to watch a video. The meals room is a central talking area ( Set off the serving area of the kitchen for breakfast). Access to the Games, Exercise and Music room (which also has a computer with internet. (The room called " The Student's Room) at the front of the house is adjacent to the lounge-room. Access to 10:30 pm. Access to the farm is from the central meals area ( commonly called "A Family Room") or from the Master Guest Room (Sliding Door). Access to two beautiful labradors " Duke" and "Diva". The property is on a circuit and a walk around the Circuit is a great way to experience the tranquility of other farms in the area. *Please note this property is a work in progress and not all areas of the gardens are completed. Seldom will you hear the sound of cars, motor-bikes or people talking or babies or children screaming. It is a large Harness-racing facility on Ferris Road, Melton. (The BNB is on the corner if Ferris Road and Strathtulloh circuit). It has a large restaurant and gaming area. There are many other restaurants and pubs in Melton and really great shopping at "Woodgrove". Melton has a swim centre. Movie theatre located at the Woodgrove shopping centre, parks and gardens. A short 10 minute drive will take you into historical Bacchus Marsh, where there are many organic farms. Drive through the "Avenue of Honour" (many farms offer fruit-picking) A further 45 minute drive will take you to historical Ballarat. Visit Ballarat Wild-life Sanctuary and Sovereign Hill. As the farm is centrally located to the City of Melbourne in the East, Ballarat in the West, Geelong and surf-coast in the South and Gisbourne in the North, it is a great way to stay for an extended period of time and really see some outstanding places with around just 1 hour drive in each direction.

    The SpaceBrand new house with four bedrooms. Very spacious and comfortable. You will have your own bedroom with a queen size bed. Most of the time you will have your own bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The bathroom may be shared if we have another guest in the other bedroom, but this is very rare. Train station is located 10minutes drive from here to Wyndham vale or Werribee station. There is a bus that takes 15 minutes to get to Werribee station from the house. The bus station is an 8 minute walk from the house. Werribee train takes 50 minutes to get into the city and Wyndham vale takes 35 minutes. Really peaceful. New estate area.     The SpaceThe room is very modern with a queen size bed. The whole house is brand new. Just recently built. Guest AccessGuests have access to kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry. Free wifi!!! Train station is located 10minutes drive from here to Wyndham vale or Werribee station. There is a bus that takes 15 minutes to get to Werribee station from the house. The bus station is an 8 minute walk from the house. Werribee train takes 50 minutes to get into the city and Wyndham vale takes 35 minutes. Really peaceful. New estate area. We are one of the only people on the street that have moved in so far. Interaction with GuestsWe works heaps midweek and get home quite late, but always up for a chat! The NeighborhoodWe are only 15 minutes away from Werribee mansion, rose garden and werribee open range zoo. We are also 25minutes away from the you yangs, which is a great location for a hike or a picnic overlooking the beautiful mountain ranges. We are also 15 minutes away from south werribee beach, which I personally love to go to after work for a nice hike. Getting AroundWe are a 5 minute walk from the bus station that will take you to either Werribee train station or to Wyndham vale train station. The bus takes 15 minutes to get to the train and then 35-40mins on the train to get to southern cross.

      Our property is a little unique given that we have a completely edible garden, we have our own chickens, from which we get fresh eggs from each day and we love to cook and there's not much better than fresh eggs. Our House is 4 years old, it has 4 bedrooms, of which we have one for rent , there is a rumpus/games room, a large family meals and kitchen area that overlooks our organic edible garden. The room is a large bedroom with built in robe, a double bed, bedside table and a small desk. We have a sustainable property that provides all of our vegetable and herb requirements all year round. We have two bathrooms and the house is very modern. Our guests experience what it is like to eat from the freshest and tastiest produce at their finger tips. They also get to experience walks along the beautiful Werribee River in presidents park which is only metres form our front door. Experience the bird life on dawn and dusk and the pristine fresh air of country living. Werribee is only 32klms from Melbourne's CBD but as we are in the food bowl of Melbourne's food growing districts we rank highly on great restaurants and eateries, cafe's and take away food restaurants. 100 metres from our front door connects you to a half hourly bus that will take you into the township or to the train station where a 30 minute trip gets you into the heart of Melbourne, you can't drive there that fast! The NeighborhoodThe Estate is. called " Strathtulloh" -a semi-rural estate south of Melton ( near Exford). The accommodation is on a 9 acre property on the Strathtulloh Circuit. A walk or jog around the circuit is a great way to see other farms and their animals. The City of Melton offers great shopping, restaurants and a cinema. It has wonderful parks and gardens. Tabcorp is the largest harness racing facility in Australia and is only a two minute drive away from your accommodation. Getting AroundPublic transport ( Melton Railway Station ) is a five minute drive from the property. The Service is V-Line ( country service) that travels 40 minutes to Melbourne -Southern Cross. If not, they are able to enjoy their own privacy. The NeighborhoodThis is the Strathtulloh Estate in Melton South ( a quiet semi-rural estate with acreage between 3 and 10 acrea. It was once a division of 900 acres. The accommodation is set on 9 acres. A drive or walk around the Strathtulloh Circuit has excited international guests, particularly from China and Japan with many different styles of homes and different farm animals; including horses. The property is just a two minute drive to Tabcorp Harness Racing Complex, which is the largest harness-racing facility in Australia. The property is central to Ballarat, City of Melbourne and Geelong. The distance being less than one hour drive in each direction and just a half hour to rural Gisborne. Your accommodation is the best way to see all these places over at least a four day stay. A train also departs from Melton Station direct to Ballarat and beyond and Melbourne's Southern Cross Station. Getting AroundMelton Station is just a five minute drive from the accommodation.       Warrawong Cedar Cottage is on a mixed farm of 180 acres on the Werribee River. It provides a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy a working farm, walk to the river to paddle, throw stone or fish, visit and climb the ancient rocky escarpment and have wonderful views of the Werribee Gorge and flowing river. Kasper, our alpaca, looks after our new born lambs by keeping foxes away. On our river flats, friendly refugee neighbours come and go daily, tending the vegetable plots we have provided them to help them adjust to the country. Shopping is 10 minutes away in Melton at all major supermarkets. A fast train service to Melbourne is also 5 minutes away. A world class golf course has been built at the nearby new township of Eynesbury. Close to the cottage there is a small cabin with toilet, sofa-bed and table that provides a quieter, scenic and private experience. The farm's heritage listed Woolshed is very popular as a wedding venue. It has lots of history from the farming activities of the early settlers in the area. It is a place children love to explore. The farm is 36 minutes drive from Werribee zoo, 57 minutes from Sovereign Hill in Ballarat and 45 minutes from Melbourne city's Bourke St Mall. John and Mila live in the farm's large homestead which is about 100 metres from the cottage.
