We enjoy our communal spaces and the interactions that occur in these spaces and value the different dynamics experienced through sharing these spaces with guests. Limited access to the kitchen is available depending on family activities, we have a BBQ on the back deck which will be available. The outside bathroom is inclusive of shower, toilet, sink and hot and cold water. There is access to electricity from the back deck using an extension lead. We ask guests be mindful of water and electricity usage. Family bedrooms are not accessible to guests. As a family we enjoy an outdoor life and when at home enjoy playing and listening to music. The NeighborhoodSurrounded by National Parks, World Heritage Rainforest, Pristine Beaches and the Clarence River. Iluka is on the North Coast of NSW, a relaxing ferry ride from Yamba, a half hour drive to the riverside town of Maclean, an hour south of Byron Bay and 2 hrs drive south of the Gold Coast International Airport. Stroll down the road and catch the passenger ferry over to Yamba where you'll discover some amazing food and a pub with one of the best views in Australia. Or enjoy the jazz cruise while discovering the sights of the Lower Clarence River. Our stunning beaches are a 5 min bike ride away and on some lucky days you can have it all to yourself. There's a choice of amazing surf beaches along the coast of Bundjalung National Park with free BBQ's and picnic areas. Local wildlife around the beaches include kangaroos, wallabys, koalas, echidnas, monitor lizards, pelicans, sea eagles, dolphins and whales. In Iluka you'll find a pub with stunning views across the river, golf course, bowling club, bakeries, fishing co op where you can buy freshly caught, local seafood, cafes and a supermarket. Iluka is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a slower pace of life for a while. Getting AroundWe have bikes available for guests to use. Public transport is very limited and there is no direct transport from Ballina Airport to Iluka. A rental car would be required if travelling from Ballina airport. Catching the passenger ferry is an easy option if travelling without a car from Yamba. Other Things to NoteWe have enjoyed 9 home exchanges as a family in France, Spain, Sydney and Melbourne. The 3 bedroom apartment has quality fittings through out, with granite benchtops & European appliances in the kitchen. Main B/room has views directly over the Pacific Ocean.Queen size bed ,en suite with spa & walkin robe. Second b/room also queen size bed ,3rd b/room has 2 king singles. The second bathroom houses the laundry. The Beachside complex is close to all the amenities Yamba has to (URL HIDDEN) & Bowling Clubs less than 1 klm,town centre with its many varied shopping outlets,restaurants & marina,easy walking distance ,Boat hire & charters are available for both relaxing or fishing . Yamba has become known for the great fishing it affords both estuary & ocean and the quality of it beaches .( both body surfing and board riding) I can almost guarantee that you will spend many of your hours in Yamba simply relaxing on your balcony sipping that refreshing cool drink ,enjoying the pleasures that your stay at Beachside has to offer. Yamba is by road 1 1/2 hrs to Byron Bay, 2 hrs to the Gold Coast & 1 1/2 hrs to Rainforest & National Park walks in the Gibraltar Ranges. Ballina airport has direct flights to Sydney daily. Come stay you won't regret it. We are the best hosts you can find, just ask and you shall receive, nothing is difficult . The SpaceA quite secluded studio set in a bushland setting overlooking Lake Wooloweyah. Its only a couple of minutes to the world famous beaches of Angourie and Yamba. Your studio is fully self contained with its own bathroom and laundry. Everything is supplied - towels, linen etc. We have canoes - surf boards - fishing rods - bikes - for your use.     The SpaceFUNKY RETRO FLAT WITH BIG ROOFTOP DECK This funky retro-style apartment is the original flat over the 1970's 'Gaynor's Corner Store' (now Caperberry Cafe). Renovated and refurbished with modern facilities. Yes its a little worn but hey its original 70's! Comfortable and homely, Sunsets on Coldstream is a perfect place to chill out and relax during your holiday in Yamba. This private holiday apartment has just recently been made available to rent after a long term stay from a very contented renter, so book your holiday or short stay now! Situated in the heart of Yamba's cafes, restaurants, galleries and shops, Sunsets is easy walking distance to Whiting Beach, Main Beach and Turners Beach, as well as Yamba Bay with its yachts on moorings, riverfront stroll and the ferry across the river to Iluka four times a day . A stroll up the hill takes you to the Lighthouse and Pacific Hotel with magnificent views over the Pacific Ocean. This compact and reasonably priced apartment has plenty of room for a small family, two couples, or group of friends, and is the perfect hideaway for a couple's town-based romantic getaway. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed; and the second bedroom has a triple bunk (double on the base, single on top). The wooden deck has BBQ facilities and deck chairs, and offers an expansive view over Yamba with glimpses of the Clarence River. A great place to relax and watch the sunset, have that shared time with a few good beers or a glass of wine .... There are a range of great cafes, restaurants and shopping right at your doorstep, walking distance to beaches ,close to lighthouse and the Pacific Hotel with its dining overlooking the Coral Sea. By the way you need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases, and towels but there are plenty of pillows, bedspreads, doonas and blankets and we supply tea-towels, bathroom mats, soap, washing and washing up liquids etc. If you need sheets let us know in advance and there will be a cleaning charge. Your cost includes the apartment cleaning charge. Guest AccessYou have great access to the CBD of Yamba and its beaches, including cafes and restaurants, and its close to the famous surfing beaches of Angourie and the coastal walks through Yuragir National Park. We don't have a dedicated parking spot but you can easily park out front overnight and there are a number of options available nearby when its busy. Interaction with GuestsYour host who has lived in the area since 1977 will meet and greet you, and be available to sort out any issues or offer suggestions for things to do and places to go. he has a number of connections for things like relaxation massage, canoeing, surf lessons, sourcing local foods, all provided locals at good prices. The NeighborhoodEating cafe's and shopping just down the road, walking distance to beaches ,close to lighthouse and the Pacific Hotel Getting Aroundyes there are regular buses in and our of town to Maclean and Grafton a few times per day, as well as the Country Link bus that connects with trains from Sydney to Grafton and also goes up to Byron Bay. Other Things to NoteThere is a tattoo studio opposite your apartment operated by some cool, highly regarded artists. If there music is a bit loud during the day they are happy for you to ask to turn it down! Its quiet at night. There is a great cafe below for coffee and meals and next door is Melt the best place for Kahuna massage you will get on the north coast ... just let Jo know you are staying in Sunsets for a special deal.

Sun room on entry to house with TV and lounges, great for kids to play games away from parents or just relax and read a book. Off street parking, laundry, cloths line and everything for day to day living. Guest AccessGuests have access to the whole house bar main bedroom. The house is shared but I do shift work so at times the house will be all yours, the guest room has en-suite. Interaction with GuestsHappy too interact with guest as much or as little as they like, will assist with sight seeing, ordering taxi's or pickup from Club and Taven. The NeighborhoodThe house is situated in a quiet street off the main road into town, one block over is the boat harbour, fish market, service station, great coffee shop and a largoon at the end of the street. Getting AroundYou can walk or ride the 2 km's into town on a purpose built path which runs along the bay. There are taxi's, a bus stop 100 metres from the house, I am happy to drive to and from places within town if available. Other Things to NoteThere is an extra $35 charge for additional persons.

    The SpaceOur house is spacious, light, comfortable and has a good sized sunny backyard where you can feel the sea breeze. There are 3 bedrooms, a large open space kitchen / living area, two bathrooms and plenty of space for parking out the front. You have a bathroom all to yourselves, and the guest bedroom is on the opposite side of the living area to the other rooms so you have some privacy. We provide farm fresh eggs, locally made sourdough, muesli, homemade creamy yoghurt, milk, tea, locally roasted coffee (using the Italian stove type coffee machine) and the usual spreads for toast for brekkie. If you have special dietary requirements, let us know and we can cater (Alicia is a coeliac and ex-veggo so knows all about that stuff). The kitchen is there for your use, with space in the fridge and pantry if you need it. We also have a weber-Q if you would like to make use of that. Guest AccessThere is a side entrance which leads directly to the back garden and your room. We have WiFi that covers the whole house and backyard. You are able to use the kitchen if you wish. There is a washing machine also. Interaction with GuestsWe love to travel and have stayed with quite a few people through airbnb in Australia and Italy. We are happy to provide advice about Yamba and the Clarence Valley and have a chat if that's your preference. We can also give you your own space and privacy if that's what you prefer. The NeighborhoodWe are so close to the beach, 4 minute walk to Pippi. The centre with shops, cafes, bars, restaurants are all an easy 10 minute walk away. The Pub and the other beaches are about 15 minutes walk. Getting AroundThere is a bus that travels to Grafton and Maclean. We are also close to the bus stop for trips south to Sydney and north to Byron Bay or Brisbane. We can always give you a lift too. We have bikes available. Other Things to NoteWe have a little dog called Nero. He lives in the backyard and inside. He is friendly and loves to play fetch and tug.

    The SpaceThe most common review comment we have had is; "The photos on AIRBNB do not do the place justice - it is much better in real life". The Angourie Beach Hut is a beautifully appointed self contained private villa for couples, it has been furnished with a Beach/Bohemian flair and is a melting pot of pieces from around the world. The Beach Hut has a reputation for being presented very tastefully and always spotless. It also is in an ideal location at Angourie, walking distance to everything. Guest AccessThe Beach Hut is fully self contained so the guests have everything they need. The Beach Hut has its own private driveway and access. The Beach Hut is located at 1 The Crescent, Angourie and the driveway at this address is for Beach Hut guests only. As we have a second rental on the same property (only occupied on occasion), the driveway for that residence is located on Lake St at the rear of the property. Interaction with GuestsWe give our guests complete privacy and only interact on request eg Local information regarding Surf conditions , Tourists information or Farmers Markets etc. The NeighborhoodVery close by there is a great little Italian Restaurant and two small cafes less than 80m.     The SpaceBeached @ Yamba was completely renovated and fitted out in 2014. All furniture, bedding and appliances are new. It is pet friendly, with a large secure backyard and hammock - we even have kangaroos hopping through the garden from time to time. A professional cleaner prepares the house and changes linen for every stay. We provide fresh linen, bath towels & soap for all guests. It is ideally situated for holiday-makers, weekenders and travellers. Beaches and shops are only minutes away and the park across the road is a great place for a stroll. Grab some local prawns, oysters or fish n' chips a short walk along the river, and meet the resident pelicans. Walk into town for a coffee or meal, or pop into the local bowling and golf clubs. The house has been refurbished with a modern but retro feel, providing a casual, fun atmosphere for a family and/or friends holiday. It is divided into two units with separate entrances (above & below), which can be used by one extended family, two families, or by couples and travellers. Upstairs has polished floorboards, a kitchen, dining area, lounge and TV room (flat screen TV, DVD, blue tooth stereo, movies & CDs), balcony with outside dining table & BBQ, 2 bedrooms (5 beds) and a bathroom. Downstairs is a self-contained studio with Queen bed, sofa bed, ensuite bathroom, dining area, TV/DVD and kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities. Everything is new including flooring and bathrooms, appliances and TVs, linen, beds, furniture etc. All rooms have wardrobes and drawers, ceiling or wall mounted fans and a heater (in colder months). There is a laundry with washer and dryer, clothes line, outside shower, large, secure garden and parking for cars and a boat out front. Guests have the house entirely to themselves. Keys are picked up on-site. You can call me if you need anything during your stay, or advice on the area. The house overlooks the river and park (with uninterrupted views), just outside of town (7-8 mins walk). It is 5 mins walk to the marina along the river footpath and 10 mins walk to the beach. A car is useful but you can get around by foot or bike, if inclined. We do have some bikes which can be rented. It is walking distance from shops, beaches, marina, park, beaches, ferry, farmers market, bowling & golf clubs. Guest AccessParking for 2 cars and a boat. Large secure back garden with outdoor shower and hammock. Interaction with GuestsI do not live in Yamba, but I have someone locally who looks after the house. It means you have real privacy. We deal via email and phone when necessary. There is a cleaner and maintenance person on hand. The NeighborhoodNear 8 beaches! Opposite a park & river. Near marina, ferry, town, bowling & golf clubs. Getting AroundHaving a car is preferable, but not essential if you rent a bike or enjoy walking! There is car rental in Yamba and a bus service. Other Things to NoteThe two units can be rented separately outside of key holiday periods at a cheaper price. Enquire with the host for discounted nightly rates for either the upper or lower unit.

    The SpaceOn arrival, you can park the car and put away your keys until you drive away at the end of your stay, due to its proximity to everything. The front door has a digital locking system taking the worry out of searching for keys. The apartment has been beautifully renovated with 2 Queen beds and 1 bathroom. It is a modern beach style with a light and airy space, capturing the warmth of the morning sun and providing a very cool and shaded area on the balcony in the summer afternoons. Internet and wifi are provided. The beach theme is continued into the bedrooms with white plantation shutters, very comfortable pillow-top, queen size beds with quality linen provided. The kitchen is thoughtfully appointed with white stone top benches and all quality appliances and equipment needed for long or short stays. Ceiling fans are fitted throughout. It is situated on the first floor at the rear of a block of 3. This exceptional location and beautiful beach interior makes for an enjoyable holiday that will make you want to return. Guest AccessYou will be provided with an access code to the apartment, this allows each guest while staying to conveniently come and go i.e. to the beach etc without worrying about keys. A small carport is provided at rear onsite. There is an external shower (cold) and toilet provided at rear of building for guests coming back from the beach. A weber BBQ is provided for your use on the balcony. Across the road in 'Flinders Park' is a BBQ cabana and tennis court which can be booked at the Yamba Golf Club- Pro Shop on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). The apartment is located on well sought after Yamba Hill. The building is a typical 1980 building neatly cared for and directly opposite Main Beach. SWIMMING You have the choice of 5 beaches providing all different types of surf. In summer 3 are surf patrolled -Main, Pippi & Whiting Beaches. There is an ocean pool opposite at Main Beach for morning laps. WALKS There are many enjoyable walks for different grades. Our favourite walk is up to the light house and down over the rocks onto Turner's beach - a breath taking view. SURFBOARD RIDING - this can be enjoyed at Main, Turner and Pippi Beaches. The National Surfing reserve of Angourie is near to Yamba and has "the best right hand point break in Australia and also one of the best in the world" EATING Plenty of places to eat. The Pacific Hotel/Pub perched on the hill looking down over Main Beach has the best view, it also provides a great menu. For authentic Italian try Osteria Martini run by two Italian brothers- they get busy so be sure to book. Beachside Cafe in High St provides a Turkish twist to an enjoyable breakfast or lunch. Uptown Cafe/Bar in Clarence St is a favourite. There are many coffee shops to be enjoyed and restaurants with varied cuisines. You must try the Yamba prawns. SHOPPING - good shopping -surf shops, dress shops, kitchenware (cooking lessons on offer) Homeware, shoes, groceries, bottleshop, Hairdresser and more. FISHING plenty of flat rocks and the break wall for fishing also boats for hire at marina. ACTIVITIES & SIGHTSEEING. Catch a ferry ride across the river to Iluke for a day. Drive to the nearby Scottish town of McLean. Play a round of golf at the Yamba Golf Club. Book a deep sea fishing or whale/ dolphin watching tour at the Marina. Visit the Historical Museum. Within walking distance is the well loved rustic Yamba Cinema which takes you back in time with its old cinema chairs and overhead fans. Enjoy fresh popcorn or choc coated ice-cream while watching the big screen. Getting AroundA courtesy bus is provided to and from the Golf Club & Bowling Club. Come for a family holiday or a Long weekend get away or a honey moon. The unit is located in the well locked after Bindaree complex with only 12 units, some permanent and some for holiday letting. Our unit is on the North East side on the 3th and 4th floor with the most amazing views. We have 3 bedrooms, two of them with balconies and spectacular ocean views. There are 2 bathrooms, laundry and 2 separate toilets. Comfortable beds and nice furniture from Freedom in the living rooms. The Kitchen is fully equiped with modern crockery. There are several outside balconies for you to enjoy with outdoor sofa settings and and outdoor dining table and gas bbq. There is a protected Swiming pool area with toilet and outside showers. There is also a herb garden by the pool area for you to enjoy. Last but not least we do provide with bedlinen and towels. Just bring your beach towels, camera and a binculars so you can watch the dolphins playing in the surf and whales when they pass by from May to October. Guest AccessWe will meet and great you on your arrival. We have one lock up garage in the complex. Otherwise parking outside. The complex is gated and you need key or code to enter the complex. We have a keybox outside the entrance of the unit in case of late check in. We will provide with all the information you need prior to your stay/check in. Getting AroundThere is several courtesy busses in Yamba, they will pick you up outside and drive you home. Short walk to the village. The Greyhound stops in Yamba. Off street parking for up to 4 cars . Across the road to a clear river beach. Canoe across to river to the tidal island and pump yabbies and throw a line and catch a fish for your dinner. Sunsets has a large Fig tree out the back and the view of it is fantastic from the back veranda upstairs. Excellent property for the whole family including your pet. Guest AccessGuests have the use of everything that is in the house. The canoe that is tied up at the beach front is off limits. Interaction with GuestsThe property has a studio located in the back block which is off limit to guests and I ask that guests do not park in the driveway leading up to the studio gate at any time. I come and go frequently from the studio and sometimes stay overnight at the studio. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is relaxed and quitely enjoys life by the river. People enjoy canoeing , rowing , boating, fishing on the river and there are many morning walkers . Down the end of the road is a National Park which has benches for picnics or fishing into the local Black bream hole. Iluka is on a penisular with magnificent uncrowded beaches with surf and rock pools only a short drive from Sunsets Getting AroundThere is a bus that comes from Byron Bay daily and each of the venues such as The Sedgers Reef Hotel, Iluka Golf Club and The Iluka Bowls Club all have courtesy buses that will come and pick you up from Sunsets and bring you home. There is a passenger ferry that goes to Yamba several times a day. On the Sunday it cruises the Clarence River with live music on board. Fun day Other Things to NoteIluka has a World Heritage Rainforest which has a track allowing you to walk from the CBD to Iluka Bluff beach and back down Main Beach doing a circuit to finish at the Sedgers Reef hotel for drinks or a meal and a lift back on the courtesy bus back to Sunsets. Iluka also has a boat harbour and fishermans co-op and a great souvenir Tshirt at Bundjalung Surf in the Chart house opposite the Co-Op.

The house offers access to some of the best remote beaches on the north coast of NSW and provides an opportunity to experience nature in a pristine environment. The beach house is located in the small village of Sandon surrounded by Yuraygir National Park, Sandon River & the Pacific Ocean. Staying at Sandon beach house you quickly start to live in sync with the tides, ocean & the natural world around you, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean on your door step. Sandon River is a permanently open & navigable entrance to the sea, it is 15km long with the Candole Creek junction 5.3km upstream. It is a pristine river to explore by boat. It supports recreational boating & fishing with much of its catchment within Yuraygir National Park. A gas BBQ is provided and dining on the back verandah while a BBQ is cooked is a very pleasant way to end a day at the beach. The property is the ultimate surf, fishing & family getaway. The house & cabin can be rented separately or together. The NeighborhoodSandon is a small village of 36 houses located within Yuraygir National Park. Sandon River is a pristine river on the East coast of NSW. Kangaroos often graze on the front lawn and from the verandah turtles & dolphins are regularly seen swimming in the river. Getting AroundNearest airport is Grafton 1hr away, Coffs Harbour is 90 minutes away all South of Sandon. In the North Ballina airport is 1.30min away. Pebbly Beach provides excellent snorkelling. Surf South Beach, Plover Island's right hand break & the river mouth. Walk out along the sand spit to Plover Island the views are fabulous. Fishing Sandon River, its headlands & beaches is great. Boating or canoeing Sandon River is beautiful. Other Things to NoteThere are no shops/restaurants at Sandon. The nearest is at Minnie Waters which is South & Brooms Head which is North of Sandon. You need to bring food & linen with you when you arrive. Tank water is available. Access is by 4WD along the beach or crossing the Sandon River by boat. With prior notice access across the river can be arranged.

    The SpaceThe airy loft bedroom is accessible via a spiral staircase. The loft has a comfortable low double futon bed fitted with organic sheets from Blessed Earth. The ceiling height varies in the room with the highest level being 195cm. Iluka is on the North Coast of NSW, a relaxing passenger ferry ride from Yamba, a half hour drive to the riverside town of Maclean, an hour south of Byron Bay and 2 hrs drive south of the Gold Coast International Airport. Our stunning beaches are a 5 min bike ride away and on some lucky days you can have it all to yourself. There's a choice of amazing surf beaches along the coast of Bundjalung National Park with free BBQ's and picnic areas. Local wildlife around the beaches include kangaroos, wallabys, koalas, echidnas, monitor lizards, pelicans, sea eagles, dolphins and whales. In Iluka you'll find cafes with amazing food and coffee at The Laneway Cafe, Sedgers Reef Hotel with stunning views across the river, locally made art and design, including our business Recycletastic at The Iluka Emporium, Iluka golf course and bowling club, bakeries, Iluka fishing co op where you can buy freshly caught, local seafood, and an IGA supermarket open 7am-9pm. Iluka is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a slower pace of life for a while. Or, stroll down the road and catch the ferry over to Yamba where you'll discover a slightly faster pace of life, more amazing food and The Pacific Hotel, with one of the best pub views in Australia. On weekends you can enjoy live music on the ferry while discovering the sights of the Lower Clarence River. Getting AroundWe have bikes available for guests to use. Public transport is very limited and there is no direct transport from Ballina Airport to Iluka. A rental car would be required if travelling from Ballina airport. Catching the passenger ferry is an easy option if travelling without a car from Yamba. Other Things to NotePlease send us an enquiry 24hrs before if you are thinking about staying. Yamba Bowls Club, Yamba Golf Club and Yamba Shores Tavern all offer courtesy buses that will pick up and drop off to the apartment (call direct to request) If you are travelling without a car, the local buses stop outside the apartment, including the Grafton bus. Other Things to NoteTHE SECOND BATHROOM IS NOT IN THE UNIT ITSELF, it is downstairs adjacent to the garage. It is ideal for showering after day at a the beach, but may not suit if you are looking for 2 bathrooms to use on a daily basis within the apartment.

The NeighborhoodI love how we have no through traffic, bush behind us and very quiet neighbours. We are an easy 15 min stroll to town via the marina and river (pushbikes available on request). Great coffee shop 5 minute walk and also a boat ramp and co-op for waterfront fish and chips. Yamba has a great variety of beaches and is surrounded by national parks and water. It is truly a gem. Getting AroundEverything close during the day and then courtesy buses available at night to both clubs and waterfront tavern. You can park out the front on the street or around the back as we have dual street frontage. To get here…turn right at the first roundabout into Golding St (just past the Moby Dick Motel) and then right into Coonawarra Crt and follow it all the way to the end where we are clearly marked number 28 on the huge wooden gate. Other Things to NoteYou may need to contact me as I may be working for entry arrangements. Our pushbikes are available on request but MUST be treated with respect as they aren't hire bikes but our own equipment. They are NOT to be taken on the beach at any time and we provide a security lock which is to be USED AT ALL TIMES in town and on the premises.
