Asia-Pacific is the second highest earning region, with an average of $14,629 in 2021. In Europe, the average host earned $13,567 on Airbnb in 2021. In second place is Austin, where Airbnb hosts earned an average of $74,241 in 2021, which was significantly higher than the previous year's $22,351. On Average, the more rooms your listing has, and more guests you can accomodate, the more you can expect to earn on Airbnb.

For listings with 4 bedrooms or more earned an average of $28,143 globally, up significantly from the $17,808 generated in 2020. Listings with 3 bedrooms generated an average of $18,026 in 2021, up slightly from $10,915 in 2020. On the other hand, listings with 2 bedrooms earned an average of $13,067 in 2021, up from $7,482 in 2020.

Airbnb listings with 51-100 reviews on average  earned $21,569 in the US in 2021, while listings with more than 100 reviews on average earned even more: $23,862.

Properties with zero or few reviews tend to generate less revenue for their hosts.
