The Westin Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Spa

Amidst the hustle and bustle of sin city, the Westin provides a calm sanctuary tucked away from the madness. The spa is rejuvenating, the heated outdoor pool is a perfect oasis, and the rooms all have an understated, low-lighting minimalism that will make you feel at ease. With a friendly pet policy, your four-legged friend will benefit from the relaxing amenities as well. The Westin allows two pets under 50 pounds for an additional $35 per stay. There’s also a $150 deposit, but you’ll get that back as long as your pup is well behaved. Included in the package is a pet bed, a bowl, a mat, and a grassy area outside to roam about.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Las Vegas Red Rock

One of the best attractions for nature enthusiasts near Las Vegas is Red Rock Canyon, an expansive desertscape known for its towering sandstone peaks and Native American petroglyphs. If you and your pup need a break from the gambling, consider setting up shop at the La Quinta, just a stone’s throw from Red Rock Canyon. The rooms are affordable, and the pet policy is completely free. Two pets per room are welcome for no additional fee.

Harrah’s Las Vegas

Located right on the strip, Harrah’s is a Las Vegas staple for all things entertainment. Here you’ll find a mind-boggling amount of gambling facilities, shopping, a golf course, a pool, and a consistent concert series. Rooms start out fairly reasonably priced, but you’ll want to specifically book a ‘Pet Stay’ room. Although you get slapped with an $85 pet fee per night and a $100 deposit, your room will come equipped with food and water bowls, treats, waste bags, and a bed. If your dog is left unattended in a room, they must be in a crate — and cats are not allowed. If your trip to Las Vegas revolves around the convention center, Harrah’s is a great option as it’s situated towards the north end of the strip and only a mile from the convention center.

The Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino

If you’re looking to ball out with your pup, the Palazzo is your go-to 5-star resort right in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. Walking distance from fashion show mall, this hotel boasts world-class restaurants, decadent spa areas, a casino and ample opportunities for nightlife. As far as your furry friend is concerned, the Palazzo has recently become pet-friendly. As long as your dog (or dogs) are under a combined weight of 60 pounds, they’re welcome to enter for an additional fee of $75 per night. All rooms are pet-friendly, so no need to worry about having to book a doggy room.

Element Las Vegas Summerlin

The Element Las Vegas is a great accommodation for those traveling on business or who just happen to be stopping by. It has a very home vibe with amenities like a backyard, barbecue, and great views of the surrounding mountains. Although the formal pet policy here is two pets up to 40 pounds are allowed for an extra $50, some previous guests have noted that this rule isn’t strictly enforced. The Element is known for its great breakfasts, helpful customer service, and smoke-free facilities — a bit of a rarity in Vegas.

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

The Four Seasons in Las Vegas is great for those traveling with families who would like to be close to the chaos, but not exactly in the thick of it. It has a great off-the-strip feel and doesn’t have any gaming, which makes it a great option for families. Families traveling with pets are, of course, welcome too. Dogs up to 25 pounds are allowed, and if you’d like to take your little guy out for a walk on the strip, this section is significantly less crowded than the rest. Be sure to get out in the morning as dogs are prohibited on the strip afternoon.
