← Back to ‘Traveling With Your Pets: The Ultimate Guide to Pet-Friendly Hotels & Travel’

In Nashville, hotels don’t discriminate against pets when it comes to providing excellent Southern comfort service. With pet-tailored room service menus, complimentary treats, big green lawns and dog-walking services, your furry friends won’t even know they left home. If you’ve packed all the necessities and the thought of a pampering dog spa seems a bit unsettling, Nashville has some great budget options as well. The point is, a trip to Music City shouldn’t be hindered by your pet coming along. Here’s a list of the best pet-friendly hotels in Nashville TN.

Aloft Nashville West End

Aloft is a bold new hotel located right on music row in the heart of Nashville. It’s a short trip from the airport and a quick drive to LP field, so the location is pretty optimal. Aloft offers a new bar to meet and mingle with other dog owners, snack bars with lots of options for healthy food, and plenty of indulgent amenities ranging from massive beds to spa services. Two dogs up to 50 lbs each are allowed in each room for no extra fee. Although it’s not exactly recommended, hotel pet policy states that well-behaved dogs can be left unattended in guest rooms. Also, they don’t hide their canine bias — cats are strictly prohibited.

Hotel Preston

The Hotel Preston specializes in Southern comfort for both humans and pets alike. Located near the Grand Ole Opry just 20 minutes outside of downtown, the Hotel Preston offers massive rooms, an outdoor pool, a wellness program with complimentary yoga classes, room service, and complimentary airport pick-up. As far as your furry friend is concerned, there’s a pet fee of $45 per stay ($65 for two, maximum two pets per room) but the amenities are excellent. Each room comes equipped with a dog bed, bowls for food and water, a pet-friendly room service menu, a list of local pet resources and their own Fetch Dog Park right outside the building.

Hutton Hotel

If you’re truly looking to pamper your pet in one of the best pet-friendly hotels in Nashville, the Hutton Hotel is luxury in a nutshell. With their self-described “Hutton Paws-itively Perfect” program, tails are sure to be wagging. A $75 pet fee gets you food and water bowls, welcome treats from PrideBites, a bandana, leash, a toy from Bubba Rose, pet-friendly room service, and organic snacks. You will also be located on a pet-specific floor with other four-legged travelers, which makes Hutton a great option for the more social canines.

Drury Plaza Hotel

For the more economical travelers, Drury Plaza Hotel is a solid pet-friendly accommodation that won’t break the bank. With a pet fee of $35 that also allows cats, Drury is fairly appealing. However, pets aren’t exactly treated like guests as they are in the options above. Pets are not allowed in public areas, they must be leashed at all times, and there are no complimentary treats or dog bowls. Responsible pet owners are most likely traveling with these items anyways, so Drury still stands out as one of the best economical options for pet-friendly accommodations in Music City.

Loews Vanderbilt Nashville

If you and your pet are headed to Nashville to visit Vanderbilt University, Loews Vanderbilt is by far your best bet. Located across the street from campus and just two miles from downtown, it’ll make your college visit extremely convenient. For a fee of $50 per pet, per stay (up to two pets), your pooch will benefit from the cats and dogs food menus, walking and pet-sitting services, information on local dog walking routes, veterinarians, and grooming services. They will also receive a little welcome gift when you check in at the front desk.

La Quinta Inn

Rounding out our list is the most affordable option for pet-friendly accommodation: the La Quinta Inn and Suites Nashville Airport. With no extra fee for pets, and room prices usually hovering around or less than $100, this is by far the best budget option. Traveler ratings critique the small beds, but when sized up against the complimentary breakfast, free WiFi, large pet-friendly grass areas and overall positive reviews, La Quinta is a steal. Plus, it’s just a stone’s throw from the airport with complimentary shuttle services running daily from 5 am to 10 pm.
