The Winchester Mystery house draws in visitors thanks to its unique design. The house belonged to Sarah Winchester, who was the widow of William Winchester, the treasurer of Winchester Repeating Arms Company. His widow Sarah inherited an enormous amount of money following his death and decided to construct a house with a very strange design, somewhat like a maze. They say the house took nearly 40 years to construct and there is no real plan or meaning to its labyrinth-like design. The house is also said to be haunted, making it all the more mysterious.

The San Jose Flea Market boasts up to a whopping two thousand sellers on the weekend. You can find some real bargains, useful items, clothes, furniture, bric-a-brac, and amazing antiques. There are plenty of food stalls and snack bars to refuel when you need a break from shopping.
