Mount Bohemia is an adventure resort located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The resort has a variety of accommodation, from rustic log cabins, through to Mongolian-style yurts. The Mongolian yurts are stunning and come complete with their own private bathroom, handcrafted log furniture, and comfortable beds. The yurts feature a rustic design and are definitely Instagram-worthy, so bring your camera. Each yurt can sleep up to ten people and is ideal for a large family or a group of friends. The yurts are located on a 1,100-acre property and there are tons of fun activities in the surrounding area, from skiing through to paddle boarding and fishing. 2. Wild Cherry Resort

Wild Cherry Resort is located in the Traverse City area. At the resort, you can find yurts providing a luxurious queen bed, comfortable furniture and quaint decorations. There are wine, cheese and fruit packages that you can order to the yurt if you are planning something special for your significant other. The resort is located in the heart of the area’s wine tasting region, and you can take day trips to local vineyards. The yurts are also surrounded by cherry orchards and thirty acres of woodland for you to explore — an incredibly peaceful and quiet location to explore.

3. Rocky Top Farms

Traverse City is known as one of the biggest producers of cherries, and Rocky Top Farms, which is located in the area, is famous for its delicious cherry butter. The farm now offers luxury camping options amongst its beautiful orchards, woods, dunes, and ponds. Onsite you can find safari-style tents, yurts, and treehouses. Each come with comfortable beds, pillows, blankets, and basic furniture. The treehouse can sleep up to six people, and comes complete with a shared-outdoor hot tub. This site is completely off the grid and there’s no electricity, so you can really unplug from daily life. Top-off your evening outdoors at the fire pit where you can roast marshmallows and gaze at the stars.

Camp Buttercup is located close to Ann Arbor. It’s a beautiful glamping retreat with enough home comforts to keep you very satisfied during your trip. Camp Buttercup features English-style shepherd huts that are beautifully decorated and come with a living room area and kitchenette. The camp is near to tons of activities you can take part in, from biking to fishing and bird watching.

This stunning Living Heart Yurt is located in Ann Arbor and makes a great option for glamping in Michigan.
