2. Picturesque Country Cottage, Somerset
The incredibly picturesque Daisy Cottage is located in the heart of Somerset. The property boasts two living rooms, both with log burners, and fantastic views over the adjacent fields and surrounding countryside. The cottage is white with traditional shutter-style windows and plenty of flowers surrounding the cottage in the spring and summer. It can sleep up to eight guests across five rooms.
3. Grade II listed Cottage, Bibury
This Grade II listed cottage, located in Bibury, Gloucestershire, is not shy of period features. The cottage was built in 1703 and is located in a beautiful, historic town. It’s the perfect place to unwind and get off the grid — there is almost no mobile phone service at the cottage — so you can escape work phone calls (however, there is WiFi if you want to check your emails). The cottage can sleep four guests across two bedrooms.
4. Charming Cotswolds Cottage, Chalford
The Little Cottage is a small, stone cottage located in Chalford Hill village. The cottage can sleep up to four people across two double rooms, one of which is located in the attic. As with many cottages, the low-beam ceilings mean that if you’re lucky enough to be tall, you’ll be ducking as you walk. In the living room you’ll find a stove supplied with all the logs, kindling and firelighters you need to keep the room toasty and warm. The cottage has its own quaint garden, with stunning views of the Cotswold, and is a great place to kick back and relax with a cup of tea (with milk for the real English way!). The owners also supply guests with a wonderful welcome basket with food from local producers, including bread, milk, coffee, tea, and eggs.
5. Romantic Cotswold Cottage, Cotswolds
If you’re looking for a bit of romance, look no further than this atmospheric cottage in the Cotswolds. While the cottage has a rustic exterior, the inside of the cottage has been refurbished in a contemporary style. The living room has a library-like feel to it, with a comfortable sofa and shelves full of books. As with most cottages, the property features the classic beamed-ceilings and beautiful countryside views.
6. Cottage with River View, Cornwall
This quirky cottage’s best feature is its incredible views overlooking over the River Fal. From the window, you can see boats peacefully sailing in the waters. It’s a cozy cottage that has a garden with a BBQ and outdoor dining table, making it perfect year-round.
