1. First, there are no little names.

Tech N9ne and Marilyn Manson are backups to the headliners. In other words, you won’t be disappointed by the lineup.

2. Crowd Surfing Policies

Sure, they’re discouraged and you engage at your own risk, but no one is gonna stop you. Mosh safely.

3. Grab a locker.

Nothing worse than dragging your crap with you everywhere when you’re trying enjoy the show.

4. Splurge on the VIP Admission

Between the expedited entry, designated viewing areas, exclusive food vendors and bars, it’s worth the extra cash.

5. Don’t stress if you forget something

ATMs, food vendors, and alcoholic beverages will be available all weekend long.

6. Earplugs are always a good idea

You’ll thank us later. Don’t worry, you’ll still hear the music.

7. Be prepared for heat

Sacramento is hot pretty much all the time. Bring sunscreen, drink water, cover your skin in aloe vera–whatever you need to do to beat the sun

8. Find somewhere to stay NOW.

Aftershock Festival does not offer camping options, which means you need to find a place to stay before they’re all gone.

9. Get the guide
