It’s undeniable, Spain is one of the best party destinations in Europe. During your time in Spain, you’re guaranteed to be able to find something to do every night, from seeing live music to witnessing flamenco shows to clubbing until dawn and dancing to the beats of world-class DJs. Madrid
Leave your slippers at home! Spain’s lively capital city is known for its wild nightlife, with many clubs not opening until 1 am and not getting into full flow until 3 or 4 am. Madrileños certainly know how to party and the city is packed with clubs and bars. If you’re looking for more low-key nightlife, it’s also a great city for tapas bar-hopping, where you can slowly drink beers and wine, along with tasty tapas. Kapital: If you want to party in one of the city’s biggest nightclubs, Kapital is the place for you. You’re guaranteed to have a sweaty night out dancing to house, techno and pop music. The club draws a young, student-based crowd.
Fabrik: The likes of the famous DJ David Guetta have played at Fabrik, so it’s easy to see why it’s one of the most popular night spots in Madrid. The club, which is located on the outskirts of town, is known for its raucous parties, including foam parties and themed nights.
Seville
Seville, in the southern region of Andalucia, is the home of Flamenco and, if you want to get a taste of traditional Spain, you simply have to see a live Flamenco show. The dance, which is a fierce display of passions and emotions, normally takes place in cramped bars and bodegas, providing an intimate experience. Shows get incredibly busy, so book a table ahead of time. Walk around Seville’s historic city center and in its winding Medieval streets, you’ll see plenty of bars advertising Flamenco shows. Casa de la Memoria: There’s a nightly traditional flamenco show at Casa de la Memoria, where you can hear Spanish guitar, singing and see traditional dancing. It’s an intimate location to see a Flamenco show, so book ahead to secure a table.
Casa de la Flamenco: If you want to see a Flamenco show in a traditional, colonial-style internal patio, Casa de la Flamenco is your best bet. It’s one of the only places in Seville that you can experience a Flamenco show without a sound boost from microphones or amplification. It will send shivers down your spine.
Barcelona
Spain’s second largest city is known for its incredible, alternative nightlife scene. Rivaling that of the capital Madrid, in some of the main tourist districts (most of which are located close to the city’s main strip La Rambla) such as the El Born, Barceloneta Beach and the Gothic Quarter districts, you’ll find plenty of great drinking spots and clubs in the city’s narrow, winding streets. Jamboree: Set in Barcelona’s stunning Placa Reial, one of the city’s most iconic squares, you’ll find Jamboree, known for its old school hip hop nights and R&B and soul music.

Razzmatazz: One of Barcelona’s most popular clubs, Razzmatazz is a worthy trip outside of the center of town. It’s known for its elaborate disco balls, enormous speakers, and pulsing lights. Ibiza
No roundup of Spanish nightlife is complete without mentioning Ibiza, the party capital of Spain. The island draws thousands and thousands of wild party animals looking to dance all night and drink away their hangover all day next to a pool. Pacha: The most well-known club on the island, Pacha draws in world-class DJs and you can party all night until the morning. The club draws the island’s most beautiful and trendy, so be sure to save your best outfit for Pacha.
