Lightning in a Bottle (LIB) brings together a full festival experience with art shows, workshops, movement classes and, of course, music. Lightning in a Bottle festival aims to get you fully immersed in the 4-day event, leaving behind anything but positive feelings and magnetic energy. Between sunrise yoga classes and night-long DJ sets with an impressive line-up, Lightning in a Bottle creates the ultimate music festival experience.
As if that isn’t enough, the food vendor line-up is just as impressive. Lightning in a Bottle sought to bring the best of the best in cuisine to the festival this year. With Jamaican, Thai, Japanese, Greek and vegan options, you might want to go just for the food!

Dates & Location
LIB Festival will be held on May 22-27, 2019 in San Antonio Recreation Area in Bradley or in the state of California.
Lightning in a Bottle Lineup
Lightning in a Bottle features music acts across four stages. While the lineup for 2019 is yet to be announced, past headliners have included Bassnectar, Bonobo, Richie Hawtin, Nic Fanciulli, TroyBoi, Too Many Zooz and Elephant Revival for a well-rounded EDM line-up.
There are also Lightning in a Bottle pre-parties taking place all over California starting the end of April through May. These events will get you amped up for the full-on festival experience that you’ll have at Lightning in a Bottle in May! Find the official pre-party near you.
Lightning in a Bottle Tickets & Camping
Tickets are only available as full festival passes and cost $290. This pass includes access to the campground (bring your own equipment). You can also purchase car camping passes, but these don’t include access to the festival. Purchase your LIB festival & camping tickets.
4-Day Weekend Pass – $290
Includes festival pass for all 4 days plus access to the camping ground (camping equipment not included).
Car Camping Pass – $130
Allows your car inside the camping grounds. Car camping is allowed. This does not include festival passes.
RV Camping Pass – Price Varies
RV passes are available for all size RVs and whether or not you have access to hookups. These passes sell out quickly!
Boutique Camping – Price Varies
If you’re of the fancy variety, try Boutique Camping, which offers fully furnished, luxury tent rentals (with extra features) for up to 4 people. Get your Boutique Camping pass.
Nearby Hotels and Airbnbs
Not everyone likes camping, and that’s ok! Nearby alternatives include this luxury, 3-bdrm home for $244/night that you can share with five friends. Although it’s a 30-minute drive from the festival grounds, the serenity and views may make it worth it!
Getting to and from Lightning in a Bottle
Whichever arrival option you choose, Lightning in a Bottle recommends doing your best to reduce your carbon footprint. That means carpooling, busing or even donating to LIB’s Carbon Offset program.
Lightning Bus — Take a road trip to the festival! LIB and Bus.com have organized shuttles from several major cities in California (plus Phoenix and Portland) to the festival. Choose your stop and purchase LIB bus tickets here.
Car — If you plan to drive to Lightning in a Bottle, use the official address for your GPS (2091 New Pleyto Road, Bradley, CA 93426). Note: If you enter the recreation area name, you’ll end up almost 2 hours out of the way. Get driving directions from all major cities.
Train or Bus — Greyhound and Amtrak are options to arrive in Bradley. Although you will likely need to hire a car to get you to the festival grounds.
Air — Los Angeles Airport (LAX) is the closest to the festival grounds and the official Lightning Bus conveniently runs between LAX and the festival.
Lightning in a Bottle Pro Tips
1. If you’re driving in, check that your car can handle the varied terrain
2. Drivers: make sure you have enough gas- there aren’t gas stations for several miles
3. Bring refillable water bottles to fill at the water stations
4. Don’t forget the lighting- flashlights, lanterns, glow sticks
5. Bring your own camping equipment- it will only be provided for Boutique Campers
6. Mark your campsite with a flag or bandana. It will make it easier to find at night!

Lightning in a Bottle Experience

This is where you can purchase handcrafted goods, including jewelry, clothing and more. Food and beverages are also sold here with plenty of healthy, sustainable and non-GMO options.
Art & Lightning in a Paintcan
Observe talented artists as they create masterpieces right in front of your eyes-anything from wood panels to murals to paintings.

Lightning in a Bottle is doing their part to save the planet and reduce the environmental impacts of the festival with the following programs.
