Using unique AllTheRooms’ data, we’ve pulled together a line-up of the top areas that offer the ‘best value for money’ Airbnb accommodations, so your home-from-home doesn’t need to break the bank. Here are the top 7 areas for where to stay in Dublin:

7. Grafton Street

Grafton Street has been the heart of the city’s social life for over a century and is packed with shops, bars, and restaurants. As of October 2018, the Grafton Street area comes in seventh place for offering the best value for money accommodation. In the Grafton Street area, the ADR for an Airbnb rental is $107 and the occupancy rate is a predictable 78%, due to it being one of the most popular areas in the city.

6. Blackrock

Known for its eclectic community and being home to some of Dublin’s top eats, Blackrock is a popular neighborhood with great, budget accommodation options. The area is right by the sea, offers panoramic views of the bay, and is just a 30-minute ride into central Dublin. The area has an ADR of $54 and its properties have an average occupancy of 67%. It’s the sixth top area in Dublin that offers great value accommodation, despite its distance from the city center.

5. Ringsend

One of the best places for value for money, alongside with being one of Dublin’s most traditional and historic neighborhoods, is Ringsend. The area lies to the south of the River Liffey and has a strong, working-class background, as well as a population of proud Dubliners. It sits in a prime location, close to the historic Boland’s Mill and right beside picturesque canals. Airbnbs here have ADR of $147 USD and the occupancy is at 41%, with some of the top-booked properties being penthouses with spectacular views.

4. Portobello

Portobello is often voted one of Dublin’s most vibrant neighborhoods, and is also one of the best places to stay in terms of value for money. The neighborhood feels like a small, cozy village, with quaint houses, independent coffee shops and scenic pathways running alongside the canal. The ADR here is $89, with 61% occupancy rate for Airbnbs, so slightly more competitive than areas like Ringsend, but less so than Blackrock and Grafton Street.

3. O’Connell Street

The O’Connell Street area is one of Dublin’s busiest thoroughfares and is bursting with history dating back hundreds of years. It comes in at third place as the best area in the city for best value for money accommodation options. The ADR is $153 and the area has a 78% occupancy, meaning that like the Grafton Street area, it’s one of the most popular choices in Dublin.

2. City Center (North)

The City Center (North) area of Dublin is understandably one of the city’s most popular spots, with an occupancy of 78% it’s also one of the most frequently booked places in the city. City Center (North) is one of the most expensive parts of the city, with an ADR of $175, however, guests tend to be very satisfied with this choice, mainly due to its proximity to the best sights and things to do in Dublin. The north is generally better value for money than the south side of the city center.

1. Artane

While Artane might not look like much more than a residential neighborhood, it’s home to a lot of celebrities, making it one of Dublin’s most affluent neighborhoods. The peaceful and leafy streets are some of the best in Dublin and there are plenty of Airbnb properties set within nice houses and apartments. Artane comes in at number one for being the best value for money area in Dublin. The ADR of an Airbnb in Artane is $38 USD and properties have an occupancy of 65%, meaning there are plenty of opportunities to bag a reservation and great deal here.
